God shall arise,
His enemies shall be scattered;
and those who hate Him shall flee before Him!
2 As smoke is driven away, so you shall drive them away;
as wax melts before fire,
so the wicked shall perish before God!
But the righteous shall be glad;
they shall exult before God;
they shall be jubilant
with joy!
4 Sing to God, sing praises to His Name;
lift up a song to Him
Who rides through the deserts;
His name is the Lord;
exult before Him!
5 Father of the fatherless and protector of widows
is God in His Holy Habitation.
6 God settles the solitary in a home;
He leads out the prisoners to prosperity,
but the rebellious dwell in a parched land.
O God,
when You went out before Your people,
when You marched through the wilderness,
Selah
The earth quaked, the heavens poured down rain,
before God, the One of Sinai,
before God,
the God of Israel.
Rain in abundance, O God, You shed abroad;
Y you restored Your inheritance as it languished;
Your flock found a dwelling in it;
in Your goodness,
O God,
You provided for the needy.
The Lord gives the Word;
the women who announce the news
are a great host:
“The kings of the armies—they flee, they flee!”
The women at home divide the spoil—
13 though you men lie among the sheepfolds—
the wings of a dove covered with silver,
its pinions with shimmering gold.
14 When the Almighty scatters kings there,
let snow fall on Zalmon.
15 O mountain of God, mountain of Bashan;
O many-peaked mountain, mountain of Bashan!
16 Why do you look with hatred, O many-peaked mountain,
at the mount that God desired for His Abode,
Yes, where the Lord will dwell forever
17 The chariots of God are twice ten thousand,
thousands upon thousands;
the Lord is among them;
Sinai is now in the sanctuary.
18 You ascended on high,
leading a host of captives in Your train
and receiving gifts among men,
even among the rebellious, that the Lord God may dwell there.
Blessed be the Lord,
Who daily bears us up;
God is our salvation.
Selah
Our God is a God of salvation,
and to God, the Lord,
belong deliverances from death.
But God will strike the heads of His enemies,
the hairy crown of him who walks in his guilty ways.
22 The Lord said,
“I will bring them back from Bashan,
I will bring them back from the depths of the sea,
23 that you may strike your feet in their blood,
that the tongues of your dogs may have their portion from the foe.”
24 Your procession is seen, O God,
the procession of my God,
my King,
into the sanctuary—
25 the singers in front,
the musicians last,
between them virgins playing tambourines:
“Bless God in the great congregation,
the Lord, O you who are of Israel's fountain!”
There is Benjamin, the least of them, in the lead,
the princes of Judah in their throng,
the princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.
28 Summon Your power, O God,
the power, O God, by which You have worked for us.
29 Because of Your temple at Jerusalem
kings shall bear gifts to you.
30 Rebuke the beasts that dwell among the reeds,
the herd of bulls with the calves of the peoples.
Trample underfoot those who lust after tribute;
scatter the peoples who delight in war.
31 Nobles shall come from Egypt;
Cush shall hasten
to stretch out her hands to God.
O kingdoms of the earth,
Sing to God;
sing praises to the Lord,
Selah
To Him who rides in the Heavens
The ancient Heavens
Behold,
He sends out His voice, His mighty voice.
Ascribe power to God,
Whose Majesty is over Israel,
and
Whose Power is in the skies.
35 Awesome is God
from His Sanctuary;
The God of Israel—
He is the One
Who gives power and strength
to His People.
Blessed be God!
Yesterday, we were out and about. With so very many.
And surrounding us were people in determined good spirits with children. Women with their friends to explain how difficult life is right now. And our 'working', during Hurricane Beryl recovery, phones in our hands to give us the surrounding community, around us, on social media, the world as it is being revealed to them in Hurricane Recovery.
My views saw very, very sad people.
And people who wanted to know your experiences. Sometimes to let you know they want to jump down your gullet for any blessing. And others to let you know: This is a Really Difficult Time! I have great sorrow and am very upset. So upset. Others were upset about generators - who had them, who made a noise, who didn't say they had a generator and who was bragging about generators. (Oh, the tight rope of available masks fight, fight, fight, during the pandemic. And then the mask controversy fight.)
The community told us, the places advertising a welcome, to come in and charge up phones, be in air conditioning, have some warm food and cool beverage, they were at the point of breaking for asking to host people in such need. Their irritation, (oh, my, I have been irritated at home) made the serving community want to cry and quit and go home to no power and the comfort of being in solitude.
I'd like to buy the world a coke
and
Keep it in
Perfect Harmony
Coincidently, Beryl did arrive on July 8th
and
Surprise, I just realized this.
This comfort I'd like to provide to us, to the community worldwide, nationally and locally.
This is my experience with generators.
jWe moved and lived in the snow belt when I was in 6th grade. Snow was up to the basement, houses, first floor window. About 6 to 9 feet of snow blown up against houses for months during those 4 winters. And the first year, the Dallas, Texas purchased coat wasn't insulated except plastic bags, we found out when the coat tore. So, I spent the first year in hypothermia cold. And I looked around and realized in our community the fireplaces were blocked up in the old houses, our existence was based on oil and gas brought in to our rural area with the graces, that nature wasn't going to crush the availability of energy during a blizzard. And I began to have nightmares.
My parents faced my vocal concerns and nightmares by going to our friends, the local Episcopal priest and his dynamo wife. And we came up with a plan. The Rectory had fireplaces that worked in every large room. They said they would invite us and others to sleep where they always have logs and a fire. My father made sure my bed, upon discovering I was basically in a windbreaker the first year, and now had more covers. We decided, with my father purchasing more blankets for everyone, we could survive a blizzard.
Houston had an amazing freeze during the 2020 Pandemic beginnings.
We were 11'. Outside. Eleven Degrees. Without any power at all. No phones. No internet. No heat. Our fireplace is ornamental, not helpful. I had taken all our towels and extra blankets, placed them on our flora and fauna because this damn temperature was not forecasted to be like ... THIS. Now all the blankets were iced over. In the yards. The inside of our house was NINETEEN DEGREES in HOUSTON. For 5 days without power. And I had not thought to fill up the cars to drive away ... on the ice. We took the rugs up off the floors, and piled them on the bed. The area rugs, the bathroom rugs, the Living Room Rug, moved the dining room table and took up the dining room rug. Put them all on the bed. Then loaded the two Poodles up and put the 4 remaining blankets on them. This way, we could sleep without freezing to death.
The only cute part of the story were the Poodles.
They were absolutely astonished to be sitting on all the rugs, on us. The rugs were quite flat. And the experience was jaw dropping to them. And they did not want to find out that sitting under blankets was part of the experience. We were absolutely insistent, they would sleep side by side, with the four blankets on top of them. In about 3 minutes, the Poodles were in complete agreement, the 4 blankets would be on them, and they would be side by side. They learned, during daylight hours, to bring us a blanket in their mouths and ask us to help them put the blanket on their back.
Sleeping with the idea of hypothermia, is not an adventure.
Nor, is the historic use of coal INCREASE, worldwide, for this "climate help."
Rising Petroleum Costs do THIS to Coal Usage:
What Coal in PORT Harbors used to look like:
Try finding what I see in Galveston Harbor. No straightforward photos to see of the Dramatic Increase in Stockpiles in Harbors. USA or Belgium. You can see them in China.
WHY? People cannot afford clean Natural Gas or Petroleum. The Air Quality is doing what? Oh, instead we hear in the news about gender change in children and sports. Very Pathetic.
Wise Water Usage
NASA sees this coal usage and said the only positive change for coal usage is the world has never had more trees. The only area not affected by worldwide tree increase is the Amazon Forest.
More projects have been in the works to have wise water usage and this, surprisingly, has been to plant more trees and not chop mature trees down!!!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqkok2p-Kw8 One desert dweller in the Mu Us Desert, China is covered 28% in desert has made a HUGE difference, followed now by the Chinese Government.
UN and the World Food Program have been working on the Sahara Desert from the middle of Africa with
great results. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCli0gyNwL0
I told Edward we would get a generator and view it like having a car. He said no. I said there is not a no that would stop me. And after the first night of sleeping with all the rugs on the house on top of us with an idea of hyperthermia, Edward erased his no to a yes.

What we learned about a generator.
Installation, care and maintenance is of extreme importance.
4 people died in Hurricane Beryl during the Hurricane.
2 more entire families
were ICU Hospitalized due
to generators.
1 family
because they were new to generators,
kept it in the house or garage
to create
Carbon Monoxide, Lethal Poisonous Air.
Generators do
NOT
belong in the house
or even the garage.
1 family due to the fact
an inexperienced installation
from a licensed plumber or electrician
installed the Generator
Incorrectly.
Filling their house with
Lethal
Carbon Monoxide.
4 died
and then
2 entire families
had to be ICU Hospitalized.

Some people die from incorrect use of generators. It is serious. Professional and regular installers and instructions. Serious. We have a friend who has 4 room sized generators. Because they run on gasoline and run on one GALLON a day. With a rest period. His family finds this very comfortable. Another friend bought his off season generator at Tractor Supply, another at Harbor Freight, off season, refurbished, with a great warranty for less than an airline flight. It has a high number of kilowatts. We went with a generator store with a warranty and warranty extensions.
Other people would rather have a week of inconvenience.
Then others do this ... but then have such sadness. We have to determine what camp we are in and be resolute. Because there are such paths to having a generator. The room size generators are about $170 at Harbor Freight. They are for adult installation, with professional instructions, for safety reasons.
{Another factor to consider. A friend of ours installed a lifetime of the AC and heating for United Airlines. He says twin split HVAC is going to become the future of AC. All the lofts, in all the major cities use twin splits. Hotels always use twin splits. Corporations use twin splits in every room. And airlines and airports do as well. What attic space we will all have!!! To have a generator installed professionally.
The problem with solar, it costs about 50k to install. Or 70k if you don't shop around. Will the new glued construction beams bear the weight? Then you have a $600 bill per month to pay off the solar for 2 decades or more. And the solar companies are going out of business like a plague. Which nullifies the warranty. And then some don't run AC. And then by the time it has broken and been repaired by non-matching, then the sun changes the colors to fuzzy. Then it is worn out. Time to spend 50g to save $200 a month. This doesn't mean solar won't one day be much better. It's like Vacuum Technology: Roomba, for $390. Then you have to spend thirty minutes daily cleaning fur out of the Roomba. And now there is the Dyson that is expensive. Or you could have a $60 battery charged Shark sweeper that runs like a lightweight drone and requires it to be thrown away when it doesn't work or the hour to fix it. Solar will get there, and we will all know when this happens.}
That is my coke to you today. Making your decisions, life changing happy decisions.
Let's pray together about the financial impacts
