1 Corinthians 10:15-24

I speak as to sensible people; judge for yourselves what I say. 

 The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ? 

Because there is one bread, we who are many are one body, for we all partake of the one bread. 

18 Consider the people of Israel:

 are not those who eat the sacrifices participants in the altar? 

19 What do I imply then? That food offered to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything? 

20 No, I imply that what pagans sacrifice they offer to demons and not to God. I do not want you to be participants with demons. 21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons. 22 Shall we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than He?

One of the strongest ways I connect our Salvation ... 

Dearly Beloved

 

We are gathered here today

 To get through this thing called life 

 Electric word Life 

It means forever 

and

 that's a mighty long time 

But I'm here to tell you 

There's something else

The Kingdom of God

A world of never-ending happiness 

You can always see The Son, 

day or days always

One of the strongest ways I connect our Salvation ... 

Hallowed be Thy Name, Jesus 

Thy Kingdom come

"Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven"

Jesus walked among us in Grace and Truth. So much grace, the Word of God calls this Grace upon Grace. Grace Grace.

So much so, I decided, I want to live my life being part of His Will and looking to find more Heaven on earth.  To see more Heaven, by walking with Jesus. Speaking to Him in prayer, all day. To be more Heaven on earth, to do as Jesus did. To be honest and not to participate with what is not good by smiling, nodding and trying to get away.  To deal with all of life,  in Grace upon Grace and be honest.

Institutions, in life, have the same flaws.  Just as people in corporations can have personalities and traits.  Be it a private or public institution. A Church. A non-profit. 

David, King David, was all the last paragraph.  

And as the Scriptures record his life, we find mercy, cruelty, leadership, mercenary, nobility, selfless, selfish. Sinner and saint. David did not live the life of John John Kennedy.  People got up to give John Kennedy, Jr. their seat, their greetings, their admiration. And like Marilyn Monroe, this was not enough to make a good life.

David did differently. He dealt honestly in History with meeting Samuel, David became The Anointed One. Much to the chagrin of Samuel, who just about promptly departs.  Thanks, Samuel. Another 21 years. 

David then dealt with curious Kings who wanted to employ mercenary David to do their dirty work. Then David found his crowd were the Thugs.  And very, very, very excruciatingly slowly, David began to see his faith was rewarded. Called upon to do very cruel actions, without a lot of desire to be the mercy he was in his youth. As David was rewarded, it became - not his dream filled life.  And David just knew he was entitled to the Rewards.  And David began to learn how to color outside the lines.  King of easy murder.  Lamb of God was sitting at his own table.

And the Politics. The carefully chosen political ministers and generals. Sliced him in the back. And behaved with a kiss, in the way they saw fit because David was the NAME, not the guy of great wisdom. Not to the benefit of Israel and, particularly, David.  And David took shortcuts.  Even when warned. 

But David, David, David was still God's own heart. He found he gave to the lambs who were spotted and wandered off. David wanted to be their Good Shepherd.

David, being David of God, Anointed, began to meet the Priests. Yep, there is David. They also thought, David, the NAME, not the guy of great wisdom. And David began to greet the Priests, as, "Good morning, what do you have to say, where are the spiritual handcuffs? Let me repent and get to the other parts of the Day. As I talk to the Lord and understand His replies to me.  Let's speed this up."

Enter Nathan. Man of God. Priest.  Nathan knows far, far too much. David has to sit down. And Nathan, surprisingly, speaks loudly of God's Justice.  David, who well indeed knows the Lord, must be honest.  And Nathan, then, turns into the God David knows so well. Nathan gives the heart of the matter - Love.  And Mercy. With Justice. Nathan isn't dictating. Nathan walks with The Lord humbly.  

David can see all the nature and aspects of God. And David finds the connection with God, within David's Soul to return to God's Mercy. So much so, when Mary's genealogy is listed, Mary descends from the Branch of David born of David's naming him Nathan.  

When David connects with God, David is seeing more Heaven on earth. 

Where God's Will is Done.

When I decide what direction God is leading me, I do not want to fall into the wrong direction.  I don't want to be told what morals will be acceptable in this present wind we call the season of culture.  The season of news. 

I do not want to be held captive by those I know that my ideas must fit like dough in a cookie cutter.  I build my day, my week, my month, my life as an eternal being.  The Mafia has sit downs. "He wants to Meet you." I do not want the people and institutions in my life to shorten the days of Mercy, Grace upon Grace or Life or Love. I build with determination to the future I believe God will Bless. 

I do not want to meet those who consider me a NUMBER or a NAME.  Someone who is without a mind to have wisdom to search what is good.  As for me, and my Life, I will Serve The Lord. 

And I surely, as sure as hell, do not want to go to a party where someone greets me at the door by saying, "Jesus the Lord? You are at the wrong Party."

I do not abide by pompous dictatorship upon ideas and actions.

 Sign me up, immediately, for the OTHER PARTY.

Oral Histories are important.  Eventually, on Mount Gerizim, you find a 12th Century BC Papyrus. And realize who was the one raised as a Prince of Egypt, raised as literate. And what HE has to say.

If in 1854

I went to a Bible Study and a small group of people decide prayer will bring about a miracle. National Healing. They can pray and move the Hand of GOD, to abolish the slavery of one person - owning another in power, in flesh, in abuse, in dissolution of family, in baby birth and care. In ideology. In Religion. The Freedom even of Speech, of even imprisoning a slave for the audacity to bow a head in prayer.

If these few people decide in Prayer, they will begin a movement to shape a Nation in FREEDOM. For Liberty and Justice for all. 

Then, I will join. And sign up to vote. FREEDOM. FREEDOM. FREEDOM.

GOD HIMSELF IS FOR FREEDOM AND MERCY. 

Prayer changes the World. FREEDOM IS LOVE.

JESUS IS LORD.

There were some present at that very time who told Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. 

 And He answered them, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered in this way? 3 No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. 4 Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them: do you think that they were worse offenders than all the others who lived in Jerusalem? 5 No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”

“A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. 7 And he said to the vinedresser, ‘Look, for three years now I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and I find none. Cut it down. Why should it use up the ground?’ 8 And he answered him, ‘Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and put on manure. 9 Then if it should bear fruit next year, well and good; but if not, you can cut it down.’”

Podcaster and journalist Megyn Kelly stunned the audience during her appearance on Bill Maher's Real Time show on Friday night as she laid out the facts about children changing their sex.

Audible gasps could be heard coming from the usually liberal audience members, with many seemingly recoiling in disgust.

'What we're doing to our children with this trans insanity. We are chopping off the healthy body parts of young children,' Kelly began, while the audience took in its collective breath.

Kelly was quick to respond: 'Oh God. 100 percent we are doing that.'

I just do not think it is a coincidence, after the world watched, "The Game of Thrones" premiered on HBO in the United States on April 17, 2011, and concluded on May 19, 2019, with 73 episodes broadcast over eight seasons that gender mutilation for children became a thing.

Eugenics.

I've watched, in polite society, 3 generations of parents gently strip their children of self-confidence, like Judas kissed Jesus. 

With affection. For their own retirement, avoiding nursing homes and old age needs. The impact of help, needs met, for free.  And some even made public humor and constant drip of comparisons to 'help' their children. Then, "Game of Thrones" suggested real slaves are unable to mate.  Stripped of their ability to have their own children. Abuse.

Met, as an adult, teachers who laugh to find the people who are in mental special needs and be the one to be a constant challenge as 'kindly' authority.  The put down with The Needs One Should Meet.  Those who behave as hidden aggression bullies usually have a case load of work in their own lives due to egregious, self-made choices.  Authority should be a work of mercy. Seeking to build up those in their lives. 

I'd say, in my lifetime, I've seen the two paragraphs happen 8 to 10 times. And the teacher telling me this, expected to have a laugh and a congenial slap on the back. Ha, useless eaters. 

Once you've seen this happen, the repeat circumstance stands apart like a billboard. 

In the Smithsonian for 5 decades, mid 1970s, I learned about Eugenics.

The life of Margaret Sanger. The History & Impact of Planned Pregnancies as ideology of Margaret Sanger. She believed in, "Eugenics — an inherently racist and ableist ideology, labeling certain people unfit to have children". Eugenics is the theory of deleting poverty by allowing the people, approved, to have children. Well worth looking into, allowing us all to avoid power being welded with a smile.  

Some might not believe there would be a force of malignant power behind ruined lives.  And yet, it isn't challenging to understand.
