Haggai 2 ~ from this day on I will bless you +

Haggai 2

1 In the seventh month, on the twenty-first day of the month, the word of the LORD came by the hand of Haggai the prophet, 2 "Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and to all the remnant of the people, and say, 3 'Who is left among you who saw this house in its former glory?

How do you see it now?

Is it not as nothing in your eyes?

4 Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, declares the LORD. Be strong, O Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land, declares the LORD.

Work, for I am with you, declares the LORD of hosts, 5 according to the covenant that I made with you when you came out of Egypt.

My Spirit remains in your midst. Fear not.

6 For thus says the LORD of hosts: Yet once more, in a little while, I will shake the heavens and the earth and the sea and the dry land. 7 And I will shake all nations, so that the treasures of all nations shall come in, and I will fill this house with glory, says the LORD of hosts.

8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, declares the LORD of hosts.

9 The latter glory of this house shall be greater than the former, says the LORD of hosts.

And in this place I will give peace, declares the LORD of hosts.'"

10 On the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet, 11 "Thus says the LORD of hosts: Ask the priests about the law: 12 'If someone carries holy meat in the fold of his garment and touches with his fold bread or stew or wine or oil or any kind of food, does it become holy?'"

The priests answered and said, "No."

13 Then Haggai said, "If someone who is unclean by contact with a dead body touches any of these, does it become unclean?"

The priests answered and said, "It does become unclean."

14 Then Haggai answered and said, "So is it with this people, and with this nation before me, declares the LORD, and so with every work of their hands. And what they offer there is unclean.

Now then, consider from this day onward. Before stone was placed upon stone in the temple of the LORD, 16 how did you fare? When one came to a heap of twenty measures, there were but ten. When one came to the wine vat to draw fifty measures, there were but twenty. 17 I struck you and all the products of your toil with blight and with mildew and with hail, yet you did not turn to me, declares the LORD.

18 Consider from this day onward, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month. Since the day that the foundation of the LORD's temple was laid, consider: 19 Is the seed yet in the barn? Indeed, the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree have yielded nothing.

"From this day on I will bless you."

20 The word of the LORD came a second time to Haggai on the twenty-fourth day of the month, 21 "Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I am about to shake the heavens and the earth, 22 and to overthrow the throne of kingdoms. I am about to destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the nations, and overthrow the chariots and their riders. And the horses and their riders shall go down, every one by the sword of his brother.

23 On that day, declares the LORD of hosts, I will take you, O Zerubbabel my servant, the son of Shealtiel, declares the LORD, and make you like a signet ring, for I have chosen you, declares the LORD of hosts."

How will we make this Scripture more than the work of building long ago?

Our feet walk this planet. The very earth God has called good.

And if we are blessed to have children, we did not create them ourselves. We are part of God's creation today.

And as I finished the post, I went to Church, to The Harvest. And Susan Kent preached on how valuable we are as believers - holding the essence of the Holy Spirit within us. And this verbally confirmed what I planned to finish this post with. The tandem of encouragement from our Almighty God, our Father. He loves us tenderly.

The Second Temple existed for 600 years. Jesus told us it would be thrown down. And the ruins sit at the base of the Temple Mount. Jesus, Father God and the Holy Spirit did not mourn. God Almighty placed His Holy Spirit within us.

We create the soul, not our cranium brain, carrying our essence to Jesus. As John was so fortunate to experience.

Abba,

Blessing of You to talk about Your Word.
And in the comfort You give

Please bless our loved ones,
the people You have given us
unto the Nation and the World.

We rest in Jesus. Amen.

John 11:1-38 ~ to the tomb

Lazarus is not found in a tomb in Israel

John 11:1-38

1 Now a certain man was ill, Lazarus of Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha.

2 It was Mary who anointed the Lord with ointment and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was ill.

3 So the sisters sent to him, saying, "Lord, he whom you love is ill."

4 But when Jesus heard it he said, "This illness does not lead to death. It is for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it."

5 Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. 6 So, when he heard that Lazarus was ill, he stayed two days longer in the place where he was. 7 Then after this he said to the disciples, “Let us go to Judea again.”

8 The disciples said to him, “Rabbi, the Jews were just now seeking to stone you, and are you going there again?” 9 Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world. 10 But if anyone walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him.”

11 After saying these things, he said to them, “Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I go to awaken him.”

12 The disciples said to him, “Lord, if he has fallen asleep, he will recover.”

13 Now Jesus had spoken of his death, but they thought that he meant taking rest in sleep. 14 Then Jesus told them plainly, “Lazarus has died, 15 and for your sake I am glad that I was not there, so that you may believe. But let us go to him.”

16 So Thomas, called the Twin, said to his fellow disciples, “Let us also go, that we may die with him.”

17 Now when Jesus came, he found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb four days. 18 Bethany was near Jerusalem, about two miles off, 19 and many of the Jews had come to Martha and Mary to console them concerning their brother.

20 So when Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went and met him, but Mary remained seated in the house.

21 Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died. 22 But even now I know that whatever you ask from God, God will give you.”

23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”

24 Martha said to him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day.”

25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, 26 and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

27 She said to him, “Yes, Lord; I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who is coming into the world.”

28 When she had said this, she went and called her sister Mary, saying in private, “The Teacher is here and is calling for you.” 29 And when she heard it, she rose quickly and went to him. 30 Now Jesus had not yet come into the village, but was still in the place where Martha had met him. 31 When the Jews who were with her in the house, consoling her, saw Mary rise quickly and go out, they followed her, supposing that she was going to the tomb to weep there.

32 Now when Mary came to where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet, saying to him, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.”

33 When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in his spirit and greatly troubled.

34 And he said, “Where have you laid him?”

They said to him, “Lord, come and see.”

35 Jesus wept.

36 So the Jews said, “See how he loved him!” 37 But some of them said, “Could not he who opened the eyes of the blind man also have kept this man from dying?”

38 Then Jesus, deeply moved again, came to the tomb

Caves are found on the coast of France with drawings pointing to Lazarus, Mary and Martha.

Mark 8

22 And they came to Bethsaida. And some people brought to him a blind man and begged him to touch him. 23 And he took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village, and when he had spit on his eyes and laid his hands on him, he asked him, “Do you see anything?”

24 And he looked up and said, “I see people, but they look like trees, walking.”

25 Then Jesus laid his hands on his eyes again; and he opened his eyes, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.

26 And he sent him to his home, saying, “Do not even enter the village.”

Mahatma Gandhi gave a very quotable quote — ‘I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.’

A fine point really. More like a camel and a needle. No one can be Jesus Christ. Judas wanted to be. Lucifer wanted to be. Moses knew of Jesus. Isaiah knew of Jesus. A good healthy attitude of Jesus is awe - gratitude - Love. No one can do for us what Jesus has done. We live and move and have our being - for the Acts of God.

We, being Christians, can do like John 11:38. We can go to the tomb of the bereaved. And this is a fine thing to do. To rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep.

But we can't do what Jesus did. Jesus saved Lazarus. He saved Mary and Martha. Jesus, according to historians (and old, old, old caves and Church buildings) say Jesus did not bring Mary, Martha and Lazarus so far to merely drop them on their heads. History records as people began to be martyred for their belief in Jesus as God - the family saved by Jesus - traveled to spread the word. And Churches and tombs and records are found of sustaining faith and of living a Word of Father God - miracle. Sustained life. Sustained Family. Makes sense. What God has done - cannot be undone.

We can't do what Jesus did. We cannot put life on dead bodies.

God has given us His view of Life. From a unique vantage point. God says we can bend over backwards to be peace and find no real joy.

God says sometimes to have faith makes life difficult. God says the challenge of faith is to believe the One He has sent. Jesus. (Why many biblical artifacts exist and really the heartfelt Word of God changing lives for Love.) And if we cater to transient human beings - we find we have no framework - for the days where we and the ones we love are Lazarus. Mary and Martha.

Jesus went to the tomb - as we should for the people God has given us. To mourn with those who mourn. And the days of - Rejoice - with those who have joy. Jesus just can do so much more. With awe and gratitude - Jesus is God.

In Jesus Christ, we will have faith and love - this is where we live, move and have our being. For days of rejoicing. For days of sorrow. For strength to rise.

Pope Francis and the Archbishop of Canterbury have reported being depressed. Not all events and conversations are winnable. Jesus showed us this. We have to trust God when we can't lift up a conversation, an event, someone we love. We can't be Jesus. And even in the difficult times we will all have eventually we decide to hope with reality and with a touch of 'God super natural' hope. Or we can just slog on.

We aren't God. GOD IS. And His Mission is God Sized. We don't have to have idle hands - we pray. And the One who Listens Loves the size of the Universe.

In God we Trust. That is really - Good News.

Jesus bless us all, we ask alleluia in the Willingness of Father God. Amen.

Numbers 27:1-11 ~ shall be for the people

Old Testament questions:

Why was Jesus so good to women and God of the Old Testament was not?

Numbers 27:1-11

1 Then drew near the daughters of Zelophehad the son of Hepher, son of Gilead, son of Machir, son of Manasseh, from the clans of Manasseh the son of Joseph. The names of his daughters were: Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.

2 And they stood before Moses and before Eleazar the priest and before the chiefs and all the congregation, at the entrance of the tent of meeting, saying, 3 "Our father died in the wilderness. He was not among the company of those who gathered themselves together against the LORD in the company of Korah, but died for his own sin. And he had no sons. 4 Why should the name of our father be taken away from his clan because he had no son? Give to us a possession among our father's brothers."

5 Moses brought their case before the LORD. 6 And the LORD said to Moses, 7 "The daughters of Zelophehad are right. You shall give them possession of an inheritance among their father's brothers and transfer the inheritance of their father to them. 8 And you shall speak to the people of Israel, saying, 'If a man dies and has no son, then you shall transfer his inheritance to his daughter. 9 And if he has no daughter, then you shall give his inheritance to his brothers. 10 And if he has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to his father's brothers. 11 And if his father has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to the nearest kinsman of his clan, and he shall possess it.

And it shall be for the people of Israel a statute and rule, as the LORD commanded Moses.'"

And on the same page, Moses was the workman God called Home and then Joshua was to inherit.

God gave great billing to women with Moses in Living Word of God.

This passage also applies to Mary, Mother of God. She was the parent Jesus had during His Ministry. Mary is the one Person who has rushed in to save God. Momentous.

One of the aspects of Jesus I find so beautiful. The Holy Family. Jesus has chosen Mary and Joseph. Time spent in Egypt. Jerusalem was too dangerous. Back to small Nazareth. Nazareth reports peace twice in the Gospels. The Siblings goad Jesus about showing Himself in Jerusalem. Later go with Mary to try to get Jesus home. We find in Acts 1, Mary and the Siblings have reunited. Jesus has the Victory.

Jesus allows, just like the Prodigal Son - the process of 1 Corinthians 13 - Love believes.

God has been for His People. God has supported women. Jesus has supported a very human family. We can all expect this - Thank God - for His Mercy. And His expectation of goodness. And in His expectation of Goodness - we find a path in God for each day.

How many times each day we process this:

I will fuss.

I will forgive - I understand.

I'm full - this goes in the rebuke category.

I'm compassion - I understand

I'm about change - I will rebuke.

I'm about honesty - I will communicate.

I'm diligent - I will change this in time.

I'm an adult - I will cope around this.

I'm in gratitude - for the goodness God gives me.

I'm surrounded by Love - I see blessings.

And then we get to where we process our emotions. We bolster. We accept. We prevail. We struggle. We access.

With God's Help - we ascend. We have the fight within us to go forward with Joy.

We ascend - to hope again. Finding the Grace of God carries us.

Today was a difficult day at Doctor's offices for Social Security Disability for Edward. It's difficult to strip down to the need of help when daily we work to ascend and cope. Letting all the emotions pop us and examine. To work the duties of today. Seeing the Grace of God cover and sustain, seeing His hope given. Dealing with interacting with people in a more normal time.

When we realize God is for us. We have the ability to trust God and His Grace.

Abba,

Thank You. We will live the adventure all things work together for Good.

In Jesus. For His Beloved. We thank You. Amen.

John 6:21 ~ going +

I might have grown up without a microwave, but my my DVD beats your DVD in size.

1 Corinthians 9:24
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it.

So creating Heaven inside your eternity - available to you instantly - within your soul.

What do you do when you preach peace and the music stops? It's life - if you preach peace - you are going to find unpeace. Realize the wild waves of Life are told to us by Jesus walking over them and instantly in John 6.

John 6:21
Then they were glad to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going.

Right - it is in healing we are healed.

Peace. Finding peace on the days you are the one sitting in the chair, with crutches, raking the leaves. Jesus said His yoke is easy. Jesus is doing the hard work. Every day. Jesus is working.

What comes out of us defiles us. Good News. We get to be the ones who stop, reassess and put forth a new try. Brand new slate. A do over. We called these mornings - Anderson Do Overs.

Amazing what we can bring to life. We add to the way, truth, Life. We take away. It's a Wonderful Life. God tells us the work of mankind is to believe the one Whom He has sent. God tells us Life is what God is working. And Jesus too.

Jesus tells us His yoke is easy. Jesus tells us from His view - where HE sees all of us. He wants to save the world. We get to be the Light of Christ.

Jesus has witnessed to His own life. Telling us the Ongoing Story of Millenniums. Of Human failures. Of real people. Real flaws. And gives us REDEMPTION.

The next time someone tells you they really don't like the Old Testament God - realize this. Our Father God was interested in saving slaves. Our Father God gave a garden and way when the way fell. Our Father raised the dead. Our Father sends horses for His Workmen. Our Father fed the widow and her son. Our Father abhorred child and human sacrifice and moved His Beloved away from these wretched things. Our God abhors death for prosperity. Our God comforts the child of the slave and will bless even a wild ass. Our God goes to the slave who is abused. Our God has massive plans for goodness.

Out God invites us for Eternity.

Our God explains that forgiveness is a process in the Prodigal Son.

Our Father would run to us.

Our God speaks within our soul - Today.

Abba,

We lift up the 258 still missing in the Napa County fires. The area is bigger than Chicago. We pray Jesus to cease the wind and fire. And help the thousands without homes to be comforted and held by You. Father, in Your willing mercy take care of these people. Amen.

Abba, Abba, Abba!

You have said.

It is good.
It is good.
It is good.
It is good.
It is good.
It is good.
It is good.
It is good.
It is good.
It is good.

We thank you for the people You have given us. Our Loved Ones. Both sets.

We thank You, You are still working and Your View of us is so GOOD.

Thank You for today. We will work together, I look for You to immediately stretch out Your Hand.

And Rejoice.

Amen and Alleluia in Jesus. Amen.

AGAPE OF GOD. ALLELUIA. AMEN.

Psalm 96:1-4 ~ For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised

Psalm 96:1-4

1 Oh sing to the LORD a new song;
sing to the LORD,
all the earth!

2 Sing to the LORD, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day.

3 Declare his glory among the nations,

his marvelous works among all the peoples!

4 For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised

One of the greatest purposes of Loving Father God is to find ~ Joy.

We know about putting on a pleasant expression leads to an inner joy.

We are told in the Bible, singing to God makes a happy heart. Hearing all the generations belting out "How Great that Art" in hyper loud Joy - is to participate in re-singing all week. Finding the Joy and Strength and Verve of singing this inside all week.

His Mercies Renew and Renew and Renew.

Houston has KSBJ - God Listens - Christian Radio. God bless the radio we have here. Let me tell you. God gives us a song for our heart. And a timely song that can increase joy, hold on to hope. strengthen resolve. We find a firm foundation in the Love Father God provides here. Marvelous.

One week I had a serious health issue in 2003 and one song kept playing inside me "My Jesus Who Loves me" and all week I could have hope. All was well.

Music inside of us - is a Gift of God.
Love

How Great Thou Art

Then sings my soul
My Savior, God, to Thee
How great thou art
How great thou art

Then sings my soul
My Savior, God, to Thee
How great Thou art
How great Thou art

O Lord my God,
When I in awesome wonder
Consider all
The world Thy Hand hath made

Then sings my soul
My Savior, God, to Thee
How great thou art
How great thou art
Then sings my soul
My Savior, God, to Thee
How great Thou art
How great Thou art

I see the stars,
I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy pow'r throughout
The universe displayed

Then sings my soul,
My Savior God, to Thee,
How great Thou art!
How great Thou art!
Then sings my soul,
My Savior God, to Thee,
How great Thou art!
How great Thou art!

When through the woods
And forest glades I wander
I hear the birds
Sing sweetly in the trees

Then sings my soul
My Savior, God, to Thee
How great thou art
How great thou art
Then sings my soul
My Savior, God, to Thee
How great Thou art
How great Thou art

When I look down
From lofty mountain grandeur
And hear the brook
And feel the gentle breeze

Then sings my soul
My Savior, God, to Thee
How great thou art
How great thou art
Then sings my soul
My Savior, God, to Thee
How great Thou art
How great Thou art

And when I think,
That God, His Son not sparing;
Sent Him to die,
I scarce can take it in;

Then sings my soul
My Savior, God, to Thee
How great thou art
How great thou art
Then sings my soul
My Savior, God, to Thee
How great Thou art
How great Thou art

That on the Cross,
My burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died
To take away my sin.

Then sings my soul
My Savior, God, to Thee
How great thou art
How great thou art
Then sings my soul
My Savior, God, to Thee
How great Thou art
How great Thou art

When Christ shall come,
With shouts of acclamation,
And take me home

Then sings my soul
My Savior, God, to Thee
How great thou art
How great thou art
Then sings my soul
My Savior, God, to Thee
How great Thou art
How great Thou art

What joy shall fill my heart!

Then sings my soul
My Savior, God, to Thee
How great thou art
How great thou art
Then sings my soul
My Savior, God, to Thee
How great Thou art
How great Thou art

Then I shall bow
In humble adoration
And there proclaim,
"My God, how great Thou art!"

Then sings my soul
My Savior, God, to Thee
How great thou art
How great thou art
Then sings my soul
My Savior, God, to Thee
How great Thou art
How great Thou art

JESUS IS SO GOOD

Abba,

You have gifted us all in many ways.

Radio. Old Hymns. New Hymns.

Good and Bountiful Blessings.

White knuckle times needing Your Help.

Days when songs singing "I need a Miracle" happens.

We all need a Miracle.

12 Open Gates of Heaven. WE have the gift of Jesus, Who gives us access to Father God Almighty.

We lift up our loved ones.

Giving Thanks, Father God, in Jesus. Amen.

The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
