Psalm 46 ~ The Holy Habitation of the Most High

Psalm 46

1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

2 Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,

though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,

3 though its waters roar and foam,

though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah

4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy habitation of the Most High.

5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns.

6 The nations rage, the kingdoms totter; he utters his voice, the earth melts.

7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, how he has brought desolations on the earth.

9 He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; he breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the chariots with fire.

10 "Be still, and know that I am God.

I will be exalted among the nations,

I will be exalted in the earth!"

11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.

Selah

Jesus spoke of Psalm 46.

Jesus is always with us.

Matthew 28:20
Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.
And behold,
I am with you always, to the end of the age.

Jesus knew what to do with fear.

Matthew 9:6-8
But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he then said to the paralytic—“Rise, pick up your bed and go home.” And he rose and went home. When the crowds saw it, they were afraid, and they glorified God, who had given such authority to men.

A River making God glad.

John 4:14
Whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again.

The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.

God will help as morning dawns. Jesus even considered and spoke with and taught - women. Even the least.

Matthew 20:1
For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner
who went out early in the morning
to hire workers for his vineyard.

The expectation of God's blessing and provision in many, many matters.

Kingdoms totter, rage, melts - God is with us. God our Fortress.

Matthew 11

2 When John, who was in prison,

heard about the deeds of the Messiah, he sent his disciples 3 to ask him,
“Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?”

4 Jesus replied, “Go back and report to John what you hear and see:
5 The blind receive sight,
the lame walk,
those who have leprosy are cleansed,
the deaf hear,
the dead are raised,
and the good news is proclaimed to the poor.

6 Blessed is anyone who does not stumble on account of me.”

7 As John’s disciples were leaving, Jesus began to speak to the crowd about John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed swayed by the wind? 8 If not, what did you go out to see? A man dressed in fine clothes? No, those who wear fine clothes are in kings’ palaces. 9 Then what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet. 10 This is the one about whom it is written: “ ‘I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way before you.’

11 Truly I tell you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist, yet whoever is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

God sees a far greater Plan.

Desolations

Luke 19:43

43 The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side.

Selah

Abba,

For You, our Father Loves the world
to want to save
all the world
for all the world
to have
Jesus Christ
in them
and of them
and for them
and by them
- - - for you.

And in the beginning the Holy Spirit was abiding over the waters of all of earth.
And You, our Father,
made plans to be closer.

When we remember to ask You to Bless us and Keep us,
You are the beginning of the prayer
and Your Name - Jesus - covers all and every aspect of us
Blesses us as the Prayer closes.

And in the middle of all our prayers we pray for our own cares
and the ones we Love
for Jesus to fill them with His Love.
And we Rise as Jesus said to pray for our Nation and all Nations Trustin in Jesus.
Rising further and further to realize the Joy of our Father
knowing all of His Beloved
delight to ask for more Heaven on earth.

And as we ask for God's Blessing and Mercy,
we know we have given Him our mind, heart and soul.

And Father God is pleased.
We delight in God's Love.

Amen and Amen in Jesus Christ. Amen.

John 11:1-38 ~ two days had ended, possibly the third day †

The caves off of Southern France

John 11:1-38

1 Now a certain man was ill, Lazarus of Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha.

2 It was Mary who anointed the Lord with ointment and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was ill.

3 So the sisters sent to him, saying, "Lord, he whom you love is ill."

4 But when Jesus heard it he said, "This illness does not lead to death. It is for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it."

5 Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. 6 So, when he heard that Lazarus was ill, he stayed two days longer in the place where he was. 7 Then after this he said to the disciples, “Let us go to Judea again.”

8 The disciples said to him, “Rabbi, the Jews were just now seeking to stone you, and are you going there again?” 9 Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world. 10 But if anyone walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him.”

11 After saying these things, he said to them, “Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I go to awaken him.”

12 The disciples said to him, “Lord, if he has fallen asleep, he will recover.”

13 Now Jesus had spoken of his death, but they thought that he meant taking rest in sleep. 14 Then Jesus told them plainly, “Lazarus has died, 15 and for your sake I am glad that I was not there, so that you may believe. But let us go to him.”

16 So Thomas, called the Twin, said to his fellow disciples, “Let us also go, that we may die with him.”

17 Now when Jesus came, he found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb four days. 18 Bethany was near Jerusalem, about two miles off, 19 and many of the Jews had come to Martha and Mary to console them concerning their brother.

20 So when Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went and met him, but Mary remained seated in the house.

21 Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died. 22 But even now I know that whatever you ask from God, God will give you.”

23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”

24 Martha said to him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day.”

25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, 26 and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

27 She said to him, “Yes, Lord; I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who is coming into the world.”

28 When she had said this, she went and called her sister Mary, saying in private, “The Teacher is here and is calling for you.” 29 And when she heard it, she rose quickly and went to him. 30 Now Jesus had not yet come into the village, but was still in the place where Martha had met him. 31 When the Jews who were with her in the house, consoling her, saw Mary rise quickly and go out, they followed her, supposing that she was going to the tomb to weep there.

32 Now when Mary came to where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet, saying to him, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.”

33 When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in his spirit and greatly troubled.

34 And he said, “Where have you laid him?”

They said to him, “Lord, come and see.”

35 Jesus wept.

36 So the Jews said, “See how he loved him!” 37 But some of them said, “Could not he who opened the eyes of the blind man also have kept this man from dying?”

38 Then Jesus, deeply moved again, came to the tomb

Empty Tomb of Lazarus in Israel.

Lazarus was in a cave and he exchanged caves. Each time the Rock is the foundation of Lazarus.

Jacob became Israel for taking what was spotted and making a life.

Romans 15:5
Now may the God of endurance and encouragement give you to be of the same mind with one another, according to Christ Jesus

Southern France Caves are Magnificent and plenty of local history about Lazarus, Mary and Martha.
The Grotto de Bethleham has round, carved stone pillars.

Caves are found on the coast of France with drawings pointing to Lazarus, Mary and Martha.

Titus 3:5
He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit

Titus lived to be old on the island of Crete. He had a second chance at blessings and long life. Titus was probably one of the 72 disciples listed in the Gospels.

John 14:1
Let not your hearts be troubled.
      Believe in God;
              believe also in Jesus.

We have a second chance. Every day. Daily. And probably more than just one.

Lamentations 3:22-23
The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

Every day, every season has the opportunity to dwell on the unfortunate. No one in the Bible has a trouble free life. A recent speaker - a commentator on human lives - an author and a Psychiatrist was saying going to coffee in New York City was interesting because she observed her clients have carefree lives and the wonders of life to one another. They never mentioned seeing her - as clients. She said she was in a room with present clients and not one of them knew they all told her their secret troubles both past and present. The Good Doctor could hear her clients telling of the glories of their lives and their wonderful children - not knowing almost all the room were her present clients. The doctor told us - she knew their children as well.

Lazarus and his sisters waited possibly 3 days for Jesus to arrive. Where was Jesus?

Says Peter. David. Hezekiah. Solomon. Uzziah. Aaron. Hannah. Zarephath. Sarah.

In all of these lives. God has a plan.

Deuteronomy 10:17
For the Lord, your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who is not partial and takes no bribe.

Colossians 2:2
That their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God's mystery, which is Christ

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

The cave is "Gouffre de Padirac." Use the stairs, go down and go across the bottom of the whole via the roofed pathway. The cave itself amazing. It even includes a boat ride on a lake where it rains! (inside the cave!)  Unfortunately, the cave restaurant has closed!!!

Psalm 68:19
Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

Some days we will have our anxieties and the next day life is good - same life. Taking on the truth. Letting God have our anxieties. The same day with fewer worries is a good day.

Why did Jesus speak so often of vineyards?

While a vineyard is arranged in tidy rows - life does not flow like this Vineyard project would be supposed.

No year is exactly alike. No season is guaranteed. Each season has blessing and challenge. Recovery and hope. Work and reward. God tells us the work of mankind is to believe God. A vineyard is a project of hope.

We know Jesus would not think we would own vineyards, and yet Jesus used the analogy a lot. Till the soil - prepare for the seed. The work is done with hope. Finding weeds to work out of the soil. Making sure the weeds don't overcome. Not having wine so much that the next year is neglected.  The blessing of success not letting the real life be pushed out. Giving the product time to age - letting it rest.

Each day we will have memories of blessings like vacations. My step-grandfather Rev. Wm Tate Young used to say, "Hell is a vacation with the ones you love in a small car." Each day we learn to have all of our memories - sort them out. Put the wine into the casks. Allow it to mature.

How do Oak Barrels Help Wine? It allows the slow ingress of oxygen–a process which makes wine taste smoother and less astringent. It provides a suitable environment for certain metabolic reactions to occur (specifically Malolactic Fermentation)–which makes wines taste creamier. (Mature your Fruit of the Spirit in your own lives - not just cave dwelling.)

We make our environment. Let Love be Genuine. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue is but for a moment.

Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

A Song of Ascents. I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord.

We have within us to be blessed and be a blessing.

The Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

We live - Eternally - Today. Not perfectly. We press onward in our race. Our race might be to tame the wildernesses. Jesus taught in the wilderness. John the Baptist baptized in the wilderness. Jacob raised 12 sons in the wilderness. And we set our paths straight. And know even the Prodigal Son is about ... seasons.

Doing what Jesus asked us to do daily - always pray with belief in God and His Son, Jesus.

Abba, Father,

We ask Your Blessing as we pray for the fruitfulness of our lives. We believe as David did - life will work far better to trust in Your Gracious Mercy. Resting on Your Good Will and Love will come to our help, mercy and blessing.

Father God we will make Large Prayers to cover the Nation in the Name of Jesus Christ. To cover the Nations trusting in You. We will rejoice in the believers around the world asking You, their Father, for more Heaven on earth.

And in doing this - You are Pleased. And we will give to You our cares as You are our Father. We will lift up elderly Jackson the Siberian Husky in being lame and needing the comfort of the Days and Word of Jesus. We will lift up all our cares and know You say, "Rise."

We will Rise and know Your Love and Comfort will live in the hearts of those we Love. We will pray for better conversations and stories of Blessings. (Especially at meals!) Knowing our Children and the generations and even the unborn are in Your Plan of Hope and a Future.

And we will say and rely upon Jesus and His Holy Name. Jesus is Lord God. Our Father has been pleased to give us the Kingdom. Amen and Amen.

Genesis 30 ~ The Lord has blessed you †

Genesis 30

When Rachel saw that she bore Jacob no children, she envied her sister.

She said to Jacob, “Give me children, or I shall die!”

2 Jacob's anger was kindled against Rachel, and he said, “Am I in the place of God, who has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?”

3 Then she said, “Here is my servant Bilhah; go in to her, so that she may give birth on my behalf, that even I may have children through her.” 4 So she gave him her servant Bilhah as a wife, and Jacob went in to her. 5 And Bilhah conceived and bore Jacob a son.

6 Then Rachel said, “God has judged me, and has also heard my voice and given me a son.” Therefore she called his name Dan. 7 Rachel's servant Bilhah conceived again and bore Jacob a second son. 8 Then Rachel said, “With mighty wrestlings, I have wrestled with my sister and have prevailed.” So she called his name Naphtali.

9 When Leah saw that she had ceased bearing children, she took her servant Zilpah and gave her to Jacob as a wife. 10 Then Leah's servant Zilpah bore Jacob a son. 11 And Leah said, “Good fortune has come!” so she called his name Gad. 12 Leah's servant Zilpah bore Jacob a second son. 13 And Leah said, “Happy am I! For women have called me happy.” So she called his name Asher.

14 In the days of wheat harvest, Reuben went and found mandrakes in the field and brought them to his mother Leah. Then Rachel said to Leah, “Please give me some of your son's mandrakes.”

15 But she said to her, “Is it a small matter that you have taken away my husband? Would you take away my son's mandrakes also?”

Rachel said, “Then he may lie with you tonight in exchange for your son's mandrakes.”

16 When Jacob came from the field in the evening, Leah went out to meet him and said, “You must come in to me, for I have hired you with my son's mandrakes.” So he lay with her that night. 17 And God listened to Leah, and she conceived and bore Jacob a fifth son. 18 Leah said, “God has given me my wages because I gave my servant to my husband.” So she called his name Issachar.

19 And Leah conceived again, and she bore Jacob a sixth son. 20 Then Leah said, “God has endowed me with a good endowment; now my husband will honor me, because I have borne him six sons.” So she called his name Zebulun. 21 Afterward, she bore a daughter and called her name Dinah.

22 Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb. 23 She conceived and bore a son and said, “God has taken away my reproach.” 24 And she called his name Joseph, saying, “May the Lord add to me another son!”

25 As soon as Rachel had borne Joseph, Jacob said to Laban, “Send me away, that I may go to my own home and country. 26 Give me my wives and my children for whom I have served you, that I may go, for you know the service that I have given you.”

27 But Laban said to him, “If I have found favor in your sight, I have learned by divination that the Lord has blessed me because of you. 28 Name your wages, and I will give it.”

29 Jacob said to him, “You yourself know how I have served you, and how your livestock has fared with me. 30 For you had little before I came, and it has increased abundantly, and the Lord has blessed you wherever I turned. But now when shall I provide for my own household also?”

31 He said, “What shall I give you?”

Jacob said, “You shall not give me anything. If you will do this for me, I will again pasture your flock and keep it: 32 let me pass through all your flock today, removing from it every speckled and spotted sheep and every black lamb, and the spotted and speckled among the goats, and they shall be my wages. 33 So my honesty will answer for me later, when you come to look into my wages with you. Every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats and black among the lambs, if found with me, shall be counted stolen.”

34 Laban said, “Good! Let it be as you have said.”

35 But that day Laban removed the male goats that were striped and spotted, and all the female goats that were speckled and spotted, every one that had white on it, and every lamb that was black, and put them in the charge of his sons. 36 And he set a distance of three days' journey between himself and Jacob, and Jacob pastured the rest of Laban's flock.

37 Then Jacob took fresh sticks of poplar and almond and plane trees, and peeled white streaks in them, exposing the white of the sticks. 38 He set the sticks that he had peeled in front of the flocks in the troughs, that is, the watering places, where the flocks came to drink. And since they bred when they came to drink, 39 the flocks bred in front of the sticks and so the flocks brought forth striped, speckled, and spotted. 40 And Jacob separated the lambs and set the faces of the flocks toward the striped and all the black in the flock of Laban. He put his own droves apart and did not put them with Laban's flock. 41 Whenever the stronger of the flock were breeding, Jacob would lay the sticks in the troughs before the eyes of the flock, that they might breed among the sticks, 42 but for the feebler of the flock he would not lay them there. So the feebler would be Laban's, and the stronger Jacob's.

43 Thus the man increased greatly and had large flocks, female servants and male servants, and camels and donkeys.

Jacob and Job of Scriptures have something in common
- the same historical time period.

The Beginning of the Middle East Trauma

The Bronze Age has filled the world with Bronze

Thutmose III of Egypt 1500 BC –1425
18th Dynasty New Kingdom is the first Pharoah to list the Land of Goshen and the Family of Joseph in the tax roles. Forget Ramses. Thutmose III created the largest empire Egypt had ever seen; no fewer than 17 campaigns were conducted. This is the Father of Egyptian riches.

Salt Papyrus 124 is from Seti II 1200 to 1194 BC 19th Dynasty of the New Kingdom
And The Tale of Two Brothers, Papyrus D'Orbiney, British Museum
The Tale of Two Brothers is an ancient Egyptian story of Trouble in a Pharoah Household.

Seti's history includes attacks on himself to the vizier Amenmose, presumably, a predecessor of Pra'emhab, whereupon Amenmose had punished Paneb. This trouble-maker had then brought a complaint before 'Mose' (i.e., 'Msy'), who then acted to remove Pra'emhab from his office. Evidently, this 'Mose' must have been a person of the highest importance, perhaps the king Amenmesse himself or a senior ally of the king.

Laban, Rachel and Leah work as a team, but really serve themselves. Eventually, they are going to have a major family fight over the household idols.

Psalm 10:4
In the pride of his face the wicked does not seek him; all his thoughts are, “There is no God.”

James 3:16
For where jealousy and selfish
ambition
exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice.

Isaiah 1:23
Your princes are rebels and companions of thieves. Everyone loves a bribe and runs after gifts. They do not bring justice to the fatherless, and the widow's cause does not come to them.

God tells us life is difficult.
Really difficult.

The Tribe of Israel is going to be so difficult, finding a quote in the Bible of Beloved Brotherhood Family is going to have to wait to James and John - Sons of Zebedee.

We find the Best Scripture Quotes on Brotherhood are about believers of Jesus as Family.

Luke 19:8
And Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor. And if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I restore it fourfold.”

In communication, in emotion - we see spottiness.

Isaiah 55:8
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.

All this selfish consideration revolving from Laban's hope for profit. Laban and his get rich quick scheme of daughter-marry-off-maneuver.

Proverbs 14:29
Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly.

Now what Holy Family would recognize difficulty in a large population of many sons?

Jude 1:3  Jude the Brother of Jesus Christ
Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.

This verse applies well. It is the endurance of the godly in the adversity when we all want to be the Prodigal Son and run off.

We acknowledge we are "The Instant Gratification" Generation. This situation deals with the haste of a quick answer and a quick fix.

Proverbs 19:2
Desire without knowledge is not good, and whoever makes haste with his feet misses his way.

Rachel and Leah face the consequences of payback.

Proverbs 28:20
A faithful man will abound with blessings, but whoever hastens to be rich will not go unpunished.

Galatians 6:7
Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.

In being centered on self-win

Numbers 14:18
‘The Lord is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, forgiving iniquity and transgression, but he will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, to the third and the fourth generation.’

Exodus 20:5
You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me.

The Evolution of the Money

When Moses arrives at the well of Midian - the many daughters of Jethro are thrilled. In the desert, opportunities are few.

48% of the USA today tells the Pew Report they are married. This is, of course, saying 52% are unmarried. Even today the majority reason for being single is financial instability. Opportunities in life are few and far between in rural areas, in cities, in movie stars and Moses types.

Laban has his prosperous sister's child as union free, wage free labor. God tells us even the Oxen should be paid.

(We are making the point Iron Age man is still the same - and The Bible being living and active records mankind in many different Millenniums - - - relate Very Well.)

Proverbs 21:15
When justice is done, it is a joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers.

Laban is not happy to hear of the end of the work agreement.

Laban has set in motion the end of his profit-taking. And in doing this profit taking has also changed the lives of his daughters. And their expectation of happiness.

Isaiah 61:8
For I the Lord love justice; I hate robbery and wrong; I will faithfully give them their recompense, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

James 5:4
Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, are crying out against you, and the cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts.

What would God say about this subversive group of Gentiles?
God would choose to begin Israel from gentiles fighting over placement.

Romans 3

22 And this righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ
to all who believe.
There is no distinction,
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
24 and are justified freely by His grace.

Jacob is the Zacchaeus voyager. And has his own spottiness. Jacob is working every day to put his faith in God and finding the blessing.

If we had to find one Biblical Passage to attest to Jacob - this one would work well:

Galatians 6:9
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

The passage is literally about sticks and literally about the conversation Jacob has with Labon about providing for those he loves. Jacob has a harsh task to care for this many in a nation knowing drought
and hunger. Jacob is not the Prodigal Son - he is not running off. Jacob intends to lead his household.

Deuteronomy 22
29 then the man who lay with her shall give to the father of the young woman fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife, because he has violated her. He may not divorce her all his days.

There is something Jacob does with the help of God.
And in doing this Jacob does not break. And could only be accomplished with God and faith. Forgiveness.

Ephesians 2

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith.
And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,  not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

11Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called “the uncircumcision” by what is called the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands—

12 Remember that you were at that time separated from Christ,
alienated from the commonwealth of Israel
and strangers to the covenants of promise,
having no hope and without God in the world.

But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility

In continuing to do goodness. The Family of Jesus would see reason to want to honor Jacob.

Prayers of The Righteous: The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
James 5:16

Family continues. Love continues.

500 years later when the Exodus would happen - Moses would make room for foreigners and journeyers. The Tribe of Israel is made up of the Nations. Jacob himself is descended from people from Turkey. The maids were slaves and might have been from China, Africa or India - we just don't know.

And God gave us Exodus to say the quality of life we have is important to God. And God had the Egyptians give gold to pay wages. God is for freedom, opportunity, kindness to the weak and payment for work.

When Jesus tells us He is the Way, Truth and Life - we find Jesus knows of what He is teaching us. And Jacob demonstrates to us we will even wrestle with God - and God will bless us. The Bible is Living and Active and the nature of mankind continues to delight God in Proverbs 8 and causes God to want to save the world in Jesus Christ.

How could Jacob have survived Essau and Rebecca and Isaac and Laban and Leah and Rachel and Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, and Benjamin without knowing and appreciating the Goodness of God.

Jacob finds his strength in the Joy of the Lord.
And Jacob takes the spots in life and does well and goes very far - healing and forgiving. At the end of Jacob's life, Jacob does not want any of his children to steal a blessing and provides the Major Portion Blessing for all of his children. And for us - learning God is not limited in His Love and Goodness.

Father God,

We pray the Large prayers of Jesus bless us prayers. The seeds of the young generation bloom and have the Holy Spirit rise up in them. the youth will have Your Power to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.

We pray into our Lives healing, the Life of Jesus and His goodness.

We want to see Your Great Deeds and Awesome Works in the land of the living. In these days may the righteous flourish, And abundance of peace flourish. Secure dwellings and in undisturbed resting places. The LORD is our king; He will save us. And the work of righteousness will be peace, And the service of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever.

Come Lord Jesus in the willingness of God to us each day to see Your Willingness and dwell there. Bringing more Heaven to our lives in our words and deeds. Bless our lives, our children, our children's children unto the generations carried to dwell in the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ.

And all the people praying will Alleluia their Amen together in Jesus Christ!!!

John 5:24 ~Truly, truly, I say

John 5:24

Truly, truly, I say to you,
whoever hears my word
and believes him who sent me has eternal life.
He does not come into judgment
but has passed from death to life.

A Day to God is Thousands of Years. Explains Simon. Simon is from Bethsaida. His family found new government incentives to obtain piscary rights providing a Large city and the surrounding area with their daily food supply. The new initiative was fruitful and Simon and his brother Andrew build the largest home in the area, complete with the bells and whistles of a view, finely finished out and being near the center of community ideas and philosophies of God. His new hometown is Capernaum. When Simon was shown how to increase sales to the top of the line - almost the breaking point - Simon was ready to retire. He told Jesus to look away from Simon - a sinful man.

Simon frequently reads about Moses. When Moses met God, God showed Moses how to place his arm in his tunic to find Leprosy. God then cured Moses and told Moses he could show Pharoah this discovery of healing. Moses was not going to find out about displaying this type of healing again.

God tends to like people. Good thing - we are all people.

Jesus went up on Mount Tabor to introduce Peter, John and James to His Father in Transfiguration. As they come down from the mountain - the Disciples greeted God by saying this father and son duo is beyond us. Jesus tells them to pray and continue to pray with faith. The father of the son cries out for God to help him have more faith.

John 6:29
Jesus told them, "This is the only work God wants from you:
Believe in the one he has sent."

Jesus also told us we Live by Every Word of God. Deuteronomy 8:3  When God tells us faith is work - we find God means work.

Jesus says Daily:

Luke 18
1 Jesus told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart.

Jesus said to do this in the face of injustice and difficult times.

Philippians 4:4
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice.

Matthew 18:10
These little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

Even John the Baptist was seen to be Least in the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus said consider all of mankind, because the least of them represent Jesus.

Fear not little flock - it is the Father's Good Pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Matthew 28:20
Teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

Luke 15:31
“‘My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours."

John 5:17
Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.”

1 Peter 5:7
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you

1 John 5:5
Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

The entrance and the view today from John's Cave in Patmos.

Father God,

We ask Your Hand and Your Heart turn to us. ThatHelp our prayers may align with Your Will. And in that agreement, our loved ones, our dearly held people will rejoice seeing the Wonders of God. In expectations, we open our hands and pray with Jesus.

Knowing as Creation prays for all of their loved ones - we have pleased You - circling the earth and blessing our Nation and the Nations praying for more Heaven on earth. And we have Blessed You when we earnestly say, Thank You, Father God.

Thank You, You hear us, Father God. Amen.

John 20:29 ~ More blessed

John 20:29

More blessed are the eyes that have not seen, and yet believe.

The Gospels have personality. Each Gospel is indeed written by the Person who declares the authorship. Just as Papyrus 46, all 300 intact chapters of the New Testament were probably in existence during the life of John the Beloved Disciple.

Bishop Papias of Hierapolis interviewed John on Patmos Island and asked him what he thought of the other Gospels. John said he agreed with all of them and saw them as accurate.

The Gospels present Jesus in the way this person came to faith. The orderliness of the events makes complete sense to the author of the Gospel in the Power of the Holy Spirit.

Because the Gospels are real and of God - we have the Scriptures to believe and hold on to.

Abba Father God,

How Blessed we are not to be invaded. Blessed to have wonderful peace.

Blessed to be the recipients of what our forefathers fought for in our Religious Freedoms.

Blessed what so many have fought for to advance our culture.

Blessings of God are finding the healing and Joy God provides. May we all continue to have and love and enjoy and give more of Your Love in the Holy Spirit.

These Blessings we pray for our Children, our Love Ones and as we celebrate the people who pray with love and faith we know our prayers go around the world God finds Good.

Jesus Bless us this day and always we pray,

Amen.

John 10:33-35 ~ The Word of God

Sitting with the Highest Name above all others - Jesus Christ, Only Son of God.

John 10:33-35

33 “We are not stoning You for any good work,” said the Jews, “but for blasphemy, because You, who are a man, declare Yourself to be God.”

34 Jesus replied, “Is it not written in your Law: ‘I have said you are gods’? 35 If he called them gods to whom the word of God came—and the Scripture cannot be broken."

There are a few Words in the Scriptures we don't use often. And two I'm thinking of today begin with "B". Behold. I love this word. Filled with God saying, "It is Good!" Wonder and Appreciation.

The other word is Blasphemy. When we used this word - usually we are smiling. I read this passage in 2007 and thought to myself, "Wow, when we see answered prayer (in Jesus' Name) - we are gods." I promptly came down with vertigo and was quite ill. I didn't feel blasphemous at the time I thought it - this was a passing thought. However, vertigo will get your attention. And this Scripture has caused me to think of it more than a few times.

Jesus is quoting from God's Law - His Word, Psalm 82

A Psalm of Asaph.

1 God has taken his place in the divine council;
in the midst of the gods he holds judgment:
2 “How long will you judge unjustly
and show partiality to the wicked? Selah
3 Give justice to the weak and the fatherless;
maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute.
4 Rescue the weak and the needy;
deliver them from the hand of the wicked.”

5 They have neither knowledge nor understanding,
they walk about in darkness;
all the foundations of the earth are shaken.

6 I said, “You are gods,
sons of the Most High, all of you;
7 nevertheless, like men you shall die,
and fall like any prince.”

8 Arise, O God, judge the earth;
for you shall inherit all the nations!

This is the meaning, my opinion of the word 'gods',

Matthew 13
16 Blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear.
17 For truly, I say to you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.

The King of Glory and the Beautiful Gate.

Luke 10:23
Then Jesus turned to the disciples and said privately, "Blessed are the eyes that see what you see."

When Jesus died, multitudes of women arrived to mourn. God's Only Son was about to die. Multitudes had followed Jesus and His Love, Mercy and Compassion from the first day of His Ministry because the blind saw. The deaf heard. The lame walked. And the Poor had Good News preached to them. Emmanuel God with us.

Luke 23

26 And as they led him away, they seized one Simon of Cyrene, who was coming in from the country, and laid on him the cross, to carry it behind Jesus.

there followed him a great multitude of the people and of women who were mourning and lamenting for him. 28 But turning to them Jesus said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. 29 For behold, the days are coming when they will say, ‘Blessed are the barren and the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed!’ 30 Then they will begin to say to the mountains, ‘Fall on us,’ and to the hills, ‘Cover us.’ 31For if they do these things when the wood is green, what will happen when it is dry?”

All things could have happened when the Author of Life, our Righteousness was killed. All the miracles could have evaporated like the Dead Sea. The Light of the world stopped and the world was in darkness. This might have continued across the earth. The earth did quake. We know this from history. The mountains could have fallen.

Jesus was truly killed in neither knowledge nor understanding. We could have been left and abandoned to walk about in darkness -forever. And all the foundations of the earth could have been shaken.

Instead, we have God's Greatest Miracle:

32 Two others, who were criminals, were led away to be put to death with him. 33 And when they came to the place that is called The Skull, there they crucified him, and the criminals, one on his right and one on his left.

34 And Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”

Surely mankind was blessed to see these acts of God are gods. Millenniums of mankind wanted to see the Messiah walk as truth and grace. The People of God, sons and daughters of the Most High, continued to see, continued to hear, continued to be alive, continued to walk, continued to be cleansed. Because of the Mercy of God's Only Son - Jesus Christ.

Abba,

We are Blessed Blessed to be forgiven. Blessed to have Your mercies renew daily. Blessed to be daily loaded with Your Benefits.

Blessed since your Baptism. Blessed to be of the New Covenant being forgiven of God.

Blessed the Battle is Won.

Blessed to be forgiven when we have seen false witness. Blessed to be bearing each other's burdens

Blessed to be one in Jesus Christ by His invitation to be His Child. Blessed to be in the Light of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Blessed to receive a Blessing - Blessed to give a Blessing.

Blessed to live in a Nation Trusting God. Blessed to pray a Blessing over those we Love.

Blessed to be part of the Generations of people who loved Jesus.
I am blessed to be the great-granddaughter of James Lawrence Wilson and Augusta Elliott Wilson, grand-daughter of an Episcopal Priest and my grandmother Augusta Elliott Wilson Anderson Young who was blessed to be from Bolivar County, Mississippi. Rosedale, Mississippi.

Blessed in many generations of those Beloved of God loving Jesus Christ.

Blessed to continue praying for an old dog, our son's dog, Jackson, and his health issues to be healed.

Blessed to be Jesus Christ's Child. Forever. Amen.

About Me

My photo
Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
