Luke 2:52 ~ favor with God

We pray for their Comfort and the families who have lost their loved ones. For the Marines.

And as Jesus grew up, he increased in wisdom and in favor with God and people.

Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.

 Let all that you do be done in love.

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, 

always abounding in the work of the Lord, 

knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

And as we walk with Jesus Christ, we will grow and increase in wisdom and in favor of our God.

Abba, Our Father,

We long for You to Speak, "Peace." "Calm."

Strengthen us to do the good works You have for us to walk in. In this time of great worry and emotion, hasty words may be spoken. Inadvisable decisions can be made and, then. with Your Help and Holy Spirit, strengthened into becoming Peace and Love. Jesus frequently told His People to hush. We will Stand Firm and be Strong. Knowing in this season, stand not be tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine.

Let Love be genuine with Mercy.

Jesus had been carefully placed in History, in Situation and with Mary and Joseph. The parents knew the feeling of being lost and shuffled as part of a great crowd. Jesus had been missing and now was realized He was needed. Jesus was found to be working. The Son of God was merciful to His Family. Jesus was Merciful to the crowd looking on during this time of Jesus thought to be Lost. His Parents were given time to regroup and they headed home to quiet lives.

John 5:17

Jesus answered them, “My Father is working until now, and I am working.”

John 6:29

Jesus told them, “This is the work God wants from you: Believe in the One He has sent.”

We long for Your Love and help, Father God, to have Your Kingdom, Power and Glory upon Your Throne. The Fringe of Your Robe placed upon all of Your Good Creation. Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord of Hosts. We pray more of Your Good Will filling the whole earth with Your Glory.

We will remember our answered Prayers. And live this Day. Looking in expectation You will strengthen us to Seek You first and find Your Kingdom being glimpsed enfolding us in Your Good Creation.

You are our hope now, always and in the coming weeks.

Covering us with the Name and Power of Jesus, 

God with the people of Afghanistan in such upheaval.

GOD of All, Covering the worldwide Doctors, Nurses, Hospital Staffs and their prayers.The young people bewildered by the world's upheaval.  People with troubles.

Brave people. Holding up Life for one another.

Giving Great Thanks,

the bird die off has stopped and

we are encouraged to feed the birds again.

We pray, Father, You will

heal the world as the birds have seen Your Mercy.

Just like Houston, a few months of sick birds

and then the illness is defeated.

Thank God.

We ask for Protection in the 

Highest Name of Jesus

Thank You for keeping Cal safe from the dog

living with him. Solutions with the friend who owns the dog.

This cancelled our long time planned visit. We pray

for another time to gather. 

We pray for continued safety.

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens

Today I was reading about the Spanish Flu, the Flu had 4 widespread spikes. We are on the second or third spike, for most of us. 

One day, a new season will arrive. Something new will be invented and life will be new and innovative again.

For today, we won't let the wind and waves shake us. We will remain strong in the Lord and in expectation of His Love and Mercy. Even the wind and the waves obey Jesus, the Christ of God.

We often speak of dancing in the storms of life. Maybe we should ride the waves and have another opportunity to surf.

The Disciples looked a lot like the man riding the new bike. Jesus, however, looked like God when  He rode and walked on the waves.

Jesus helped Peter, when the waters were overwhelming him. 

John 5:4 

 For an angel of the Lord went down 

at appointed seasons 

into the pool 

and moved and stirred up the water; 

whoever then first, after the stirring up of the water, 

stepped in was cured of whatever disease with which he was afflicted.

Abba, Father,

I ask You to protect my oldest son, Cal.

In his last place, during Michigan State Law School, he helped a neighbor who was a Veteran

and formerly Homeless, placed by Church and Government.

Arriving during the Pandemic to Cal's Student Housing.

Cal gave rides to the Grocery, advice and clothing. Finding the Police frequently visited his neighbor, while the neighbor had homeless stay with the neighbor and violence happened.

Frequently between men and women homeless at the neighbor's place.

Now, Cal, in a new Colorado place, has a longtime friend who has left the country for a job and has left his dog with Cal. The problem, the dog has attacked Cal twice and the dog wants to sleep in the bed and remove Cal when he is sleeping. Today,  the dog went for Cal's face while we were on the phone. The friend doesn't want his dog surrendered to the SPCA, but Edward and I vastly want the dog surrendered yesterday.

Cal isn't sure. But the dog will suddenly attack.

Please Pray Safety for Cal

and the dog to have a way to go back to the friend who loves the dog.

(Or SPCA quickly.) The dog isn't current on vaccinations or neutered.

Burmese Mountain Dog and Golden Retriever. Not a small dog.

Please Pray for the Safety of our Family, too, dealing with the dog.

Father God,

Dwell in us.

Dwell in mankind, the Light of Christ.

Fewer people to seek or take advantage of each other regardless of the outcome

or to limit the kindness between mankind.

So annoying.

End what is cruel. 

In the Highest Name of Jesus Christ.

Psalm 112

Praise the Lord!

Blessed is the man who fears the Lord,

    who greatly delights in His commandments!

 His offspring will be mighty in the land;

    the generation of the upright will be blessed.

 Wealth and riches are in his house,

    and his righteousness endures forever.

 Light dawns in the darkness for the upright;

    He is gracious, merciful, and righteous.

 It is well with the man who deals generously and lends;

    who conducts his affairs with justice.

 For the righteous will never be moved;

    he will be remembered forever.

 He is not afraid of bad news;

    his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord.

 His heart is steady; he will not be afraid,

    until he looks in triumph on his adversaries.

 He has distributed freely; he has given to the poor;

    his righteousness endures forever;

    his horn is exalted in honor.

 The wicked man sees it and is angry;

    he gnashes his teeth and melts away;

and Bless us,

we ask in Your Son, Jesus Christ,

Bless us to know daily

how to Delight You.

Bless those we Love.

And help us to finish well.

Help us to desire mercy,

not sacrifice and

to acknowledge You, God the Almighty.

By Your Great Love,

come in dwell in us,

in reverence, allow us to be Your Holy Temple.

Help, encourage and fan the flames of Encouragement

as we remember, a Thousand Generations

have loved and pleased You. Help us this day and always.

Deliver and Love us,

Save us with Your Unfailing Love.

We pray for our Nation,

the suffering we all have and see and hold to You in Prayer,

for the Nations we know suffer now,

and all the Nations in need of Jesus and His Love.
