Isaiah 60 ~ The Glory of the Lord rises upon you †

 

Isaiah 60

"Arise, shine, 

for your 

Light 

has come,

and 

The Glory of the LORD 

rises upon you.

2 See, darkness covers the earth

and thick darkness is over the peoples,

but 

The LORD rises upon you

and 

His Glory appears over you.

3 Nations will come to your Light,

and 

kings 

to the brightness of your dawn.

4 "Lift up your eyes 

and 

look about you:

All assemble and come to you;

your sons come from afar,

and 

your daughters are carried on the arm.

5 Then you will look 

and be radiant,

your heart will throb 

and swell with joy;

the wealth on the seas will be brought to you,

to you the riches of the nations will come.

6 Herds of camels will cover your land,

young camels of Midian and Ephah.

And all from Sheba will come,

bearing gold and incense

and 

Proclaiming 

The Praise of the LORD.

⁷ All Kedar's flocks will be gathered to you,

the rams of Nebaioth will serve you;

they will be accepted as offerings on my altar,

and 

I will adorn My glorious Temple.

⁸ "Who are these that fly along like clouds,

like doves to their nests?

⁹ Surely the islands look to me;

in the lead are the ships of Tarshish,

bringing your children from afar,

with their silver and gold,

to the honor of the LORD your God,

the Holy One of Israel,

for He has endowed you with splendor.

¹⁰ "Foreigners will rebuild your walls,

and their kings will serve you.

Though in anger I struck you,

in favor I will show you compassion.

¹¹ Your gates will always stand open,

they will never be shut, day or night,

so that people may bring you the wealth of the nations—

their kings led in triumphal procession.

¹² For the nation or kingdom that will not serve You 

will 

perish;

it 

will be 

utterly 

ruined.

¹³ "The glory of Lebanon will come to you,

the juniper, the fir and the cypress together,

to adorn My Sanctuary;

and 

I will glorify the place for my feet.

¹⁴ The children of your oppressors will come bowing before you;

all who despise you will bow down at your feet

and will call you the City of the LORD,

Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

¹⁵ "Although you have been forsaken and hated,

with no one traveling through,

I will make you the everlasting pride

and the joy of all generations.

¹⁶ You will drink the milk of nations

and be nursed at royal breasts.

Then you will know that I, the LORD, am your Savior,

your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.

¹⁷ Instead of bronze I will bring you gold,

and silver in place of iron.

Instead of wood I will bring you bronze,

and iron in place of stones.

I will make peace your governor

and well-being your ruler.

¹⁸ No longer will violence be heard in your land,

nor ruin or destruction within your borders,

but you will call your walls Salvation

and your gates Praise.

¹⁹ The sun will no more be your light by day,

nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you,

for the LORD will be your everlasting light,

and your God will be your glory.

²⁰ Your sun will never set again,

and your moon will wane no more;

the LORD will be your everlasting light,

and your days of sorrow will end.

²¹ Then will all your people be righteous

and 

they will possess the land forever.

They are the shoot I have planted,

the work of my hands,

for the display of my splendor.

²² The least of you will become a thousand,

the smallest a mighty nation.

I am the LORD;

in its time I will do this swiftly."

This would seem to be the ending of the book "The Hobbit."  The end and glory of peace after a mighty struggle.  And reminds me of the dream of seeing my grandmother, Bit, in 1995 in Heaven after she had passed on in 1986.  She was so filled and radiant.  I had never really realized life was a struggle for her. 

When I was about 4 years old, my mother gave me a clay, painted, Nativity while we lived in Nice, France. And I told my mother the angel was the exact likeness of my paternal grandmother.  And in Heaven, Grandmother did glow like the roads of Heaven. With Love. Abiding in Love. 

And all of this is very true and important. Isaiah 60.

God did not intend for us to read Isaiah 60 and Hebrews 11 and say, that was then or it shall come to pass in God's Promises of Eternity.  Hebrews 11 has 40 verses and two say in God's Eternal Kingdom.  On earth as it is Heaven. If you seek Me, you will find Me.  All things interweave for good, for those who love the Lord and work according to His Purpose. 

We are to find what isn't seen on earth, Heaven. 

Life will always be like the tide, a push forward, a pull back. It's up to our faith to believe to seek Him is to get back up.  When you listen to Christian Radio, you hear that people struggle. And in God's Glory, we find our Joy and our Strength.

What will you bring into Heaven?

Revelation 21:24-26

By its Light 

will the nations walk, 

and 

the kings of the earth 

will bring their glory into it, 

25 and its gates will never be shut by day—and there will be no night there. 

26 They will bring into it 

the glory

 and 

the honor 

of the nations.

When we read the Books of the Bible, we definitely understand that cultures and kings sway like the pendulum.  What do we bring to Light for our lives?  We bring glory and honor to our lives by our faith and abiding in what God would see as bringing out the best.

When we live as being renewed by the Lord, we aren't as pushed by the pressures of not conforming.  Jesus tells us from our heart, Living Water will flow.  We see more Heaven and will be more Heaven. 

The Ten Parables has sometimes really rubbed me unpleasantly.  What do we expect God to be. Jesus tells us our Father sees prayer as a friend who is diligent. And unrelenting. Persistent. Pray with Hope.  This seems, God isn't offended when we pray with conviction.  And God tells us in Jesus, we do see the Lord as a harsh Judge. Not relenting fast enough. This blunt love takes shame out of the prayers from the heart. The Graciousness of God is bigger than the Universe.

Romans 5:8

But God shows His Love for us in that while we were still sinners, 

Christ died for us.

Romans 3:23

for All have sinned and fall short of the 

Glory of God

Matthew 5:13-16

13 “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet.

14 “You are the light of the world."

God is God

only

God

is

Our Salvation.

And God explains

He sees us.

Your gates will always stand open,

they will never be shut, day or night

John 1:29-34

I have seen

 and have borne witness 

that 

this 

is the Son of God

Father Francis MacNutt of Fort Lauderdale, Florida was a Catholic Priest in the 1960s. He had found the Holy Spirit had gifted him with the Ministry of Healing.  And by the 1970s the Catholic Church was telling him not to be so involved with the people being healed. It was showy.  

And Father Francis MacNutt left the Catholic priesthood to become a Protestant Priest with the Holy Spirit's Ministry of Healing. And like Lourdes, people were healed. His wife he met in the late 1970s, Judith had been healing for a number of years in Israel. She and her college roommate had a dream that the next day they had both shared. To go to Israel and heal. And they did, I believe for a decade.  Judith S. MacNutt, MA is a licensed psychotherapist, author, and speaker best known as the President and co-founder of Christian Healing Ministries (CHM). Alongside her late husband, Dr. Francis MacNutt, she dedicated her life's work to blending psychological clinical concepts with Christian healing prayer. 

Our church friend Dr Pat Plattner, psychologist, wanted to be healed of generational small eye vessels leading to blindness. She went everywhere the MacNutts were having a healing prayer event. Her miracle arrived, she did not lose her eyesight. And her cataracts were gone as well. Eye vessels in her 60s were suddenly healed and well. 

These people who heal, have something in common. They believe Isaiah 60 is for this earth. The Kingdom of Heaven today.  Jesus said, the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. He would never leave nor forsake us. 

The healers are Seekers. 

Our Anglican Church held a Video Bible Study about Healing by Dr Judith MacNutt. 3 people we prayed, in our group of 25 were healed. The class was not resumed. We prayed for a man who was atheist, friend of a friend going to MD Anderson from far away for his second melanoma of the face invasive.  He said why not, but don't come to the hospital. Be like that miracle in the Bible about Jesus healing from a far. We prayed for him in our group and he arrived at MD Anderson with his scans and MD Anderson found no trace of invasive, 2nd round of melanoma. He texted the group and said Jesus had healed him and now, in his long years, he would find a Church and get to know Jesus.

Which is the goal of Healing.

In these Video series, Judith MacNutt spoke of people who had been divorced after their children went on to their grown lives.  And the way this tearing of the fabric of their entire lives put them into isolation. And even buying groceries in an empty cart was overwhelming.  And these divorced people with suddenly the grown and gone to Heaven family and no real caring living family had to decide if this was healing or falling. And came for therapy.  Those times when we find illness, bills, losing a job, a family member, a marriage, a dream and this is the time when people fall to trouble, death or rise.

When people are divorced or depressed, they look to see the world is down with them. What is horrible. What supports a new and terrible outlook on life, the group of falling or Building.

When Jesus said Seek, He meant the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. He meant now. 

If we don't see the Kingdom of Heaven, then be the Light. Be the Kingdom of Heaven.

Go to Church. It is the Lord's Day.  You don't have to agree with all of everything. The Lord Jesus says He is the dot and the iota.  God does the Heavy Lifting.  Don't get offended.  The Church in the Scriptures is divided into 5 in the Book of Revelation. And One Church When Jesus Speaks of Church.  We are not, evidently, Biblically, in the Bible, on the same page. Jesus spoke to this. We can actually say this: Jesus spoke to this. Jesus spoke to this.

Mark 9:40 

and 

Luke 9:50

Anyone who isn't against you is for you

Smile more. No one is fully agreed with. No one is spending days thinking about your policy. It all is the Overcome Trouble of the world.  And Jesus says this is the way things are. 

Seek Jesus. Seek Heaven. Bring more of His Kingdom to earth. We aren't God and no one should expect this of one another.  The Lord God Almighty give us His Son, Jesus Christ. 

Go to Church. Seek to Build the Kingdom of God.

In all your encounters.

Revelation 21:24-26

By its light will the nations walk,

 and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it, 25 and its gates will never be shut by day—and there will be no night there. 26 They will bring into it the glory and the honor of the nations.

2 Corinthians 5

7 for we walk by faith, not by sight.

 8 Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord. 9 So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive 

what is due for what he has done in the body,

You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, 

and

“Seek the Lord

And without faith it is impossible to please Him, 

for whoever would draw near to God 

must believe that He exists 

and 

that 

He rewards those who seek Him.

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, 

and you will find; knock, 

and it will be opened to you. 

For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. 

Jesus tells us

Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

You have said, “Seek my face.” 

My heart says to you, “Your face, Lord, do I seek.”

But from there 

you will seek the Lord your God

 and 

you will find Him, 

if you search after Him 

with all your heart and with all your soul.

Help us honor Christ the Lord as holy

With you we will always being prepared to make a defense

for a reason for the hope that is in our soul, mind, heart

And with Jesus we will do this with gentleness and respect

With Your gift of the Holy Spirit in Jesus' Name, having a good conscience

give us good behavior in Christ Jesus.

Because of the Tender Love 

of the Most High

we will not cease to pray for our Loved ones,

for the people

 You have given us,

Pray with hope!

and God of all comfort.

We pray the impossible 

more Heaven

We can do absolutely nothing about Massachusetts killing babies.  Shake our heads at the horror of babies murdered. We can moan and cry and do absolutely nothing. And those babies will die badly.

 

Pray and make a path for these preborn children to LIVE.

To Know Your Love

See the weary world REJOICING in Christ Jesus.

Life for preborn children. Human Beings. Babies.  Hoping for love and warmth to give and receive.  So many willing hearts and homes. Valid Adoption Agencies.  Hope for the biological mother, instead of a life of sadness.

The end of Abortion.
