Portugal's Castle, St. George, named after Portugal's saint. Saint George was famous for slaying the dragon. This castle was begun in the iron age and then in 1147 in was renovated by Alfonso Henriques, first king of Portugal. Until 1511, the Portuguese kings lived here and it was the center of all the events. Psalm 46
1 God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,
3 though its waters roar and foam,
