Matthew 14:13-21
Now when Jesus heard this, he withdrew from there in a boat to a desolate place by himself. But when the crowds heard it, they followed him on foot from the towns. 14 When he went ashore he saw a great crowd, and he had compassion on them and healed their sick.
15 Now when it was evening, the disciples came to him and said, “This is a desolate place, and the day is now over; send the crowds away to go into the villages and buy food for themselves.” 16 But Jesus said, “They need not go away; you give them something to eat.” 17 They said to him, “We have only five loaves here and two fish.” 18 And he said, “Bring them here to me.”
19 Then he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass, and taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing.
Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds. 20 And they all ate and were satisfied.
And they took up twelve baskets full of the broken pieces left over. 21 And those who ate were about five thousand men, besides women and children.
In the midst of His day, a day filled with requests, endless ideas of what they perceive God to be, ideas of what He should be, their joy, their pain, their trouble, Jesus acted lovingly.
So much need. So many requests. With God, He will find a way.
Matthew 9:36
When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
God is God. His Storehouses of Love, listening, understanding, His Way, His Will, His Plan and His Abilities are without end.
Who are these people peppering Jesus with their prayer requests?
It is us. Jesus as the Son of God can speak a blessing over God's provision.
John 5:17
Jesus answered them, “My Father is working until now, and I am working.”
1 Thessalonians 2:13
And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the Word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the Word of God, which is at work in you believers.
So why is this, that sometimes, we don't see a Scripture and melt.
We have found the 'Sub-titles' and this is, "Oh, that passage."
Einstein said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over. Except... when you watch the movie "Groundhog Day" with Bill Murray. Einstein, perhaps, forgot that business and relationships build over time. Learning is adding on. Yet we won't debunk Einstein too much, because he said the Bible is vibrant with personality.
Throw away the subtitles - look for the deeper personality hidden in Scripture.
The art today is a puzzle. Take familiar Scripture and find a new place and a new understanding. Keep looking even for a Word that is descriptive.
Abba, Father God,

Boldly and with confidence, we ask You for Paradise. We ask in the Words of Jesus, for more Heaven upon earth to see Your Good Will.
We ask Your Blessing upon us and those we Love. We ask for the people You have given us in our lives. Especially our dear friend, numbered among the greatest - to be healed of cancer. We ask these Blessings for the Nations in Jesus and the people who surround Your Good Creation with Your Love and prayer.
The people rejoicing in Jesus praying with us. Amen.
