1 Kings 1:40 ~ Rejoiced with Great Joy †

 

Lent is a season of Renewal and Preparation. What is a Sacristy? 

Preparation. 

Where the Priest and Choir robe to enter into His Worship. And this is Holiness.  

So many Sunday mornings in Pennsylvania, we were a happy, joyous fellowship. And on Sunday mornings, we would become quiet and reflective, jubilant.  I noticed the elation and did not remark on the group's collective Joy.  And like the drawing of Mary during the annunciation, we were all drawn to looking to the light of the window.  And we would quietly rotate to look out the window and smile.  I decided after about a month, I would remark on this.  And in choir practice, we continued to discuss this, saying the morning is filled with the Praise of God living in our hearts. 

Renewal and preparation: Today, who are we to plan how to present ourselves and our lives to the Lord. Daily!  Forever!

1 Kings 1:40

Solomon opens the Temple of God, Jerusalem, 

the first time

And all the people came up after him, 

and 

the people piped with pipes, 

and 

rejoiced with great joy, 

so that the earth rent with the sound of them.
