Revelation 5 ~ Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!"

Let the Circle be Unbroken

What our Father has done with the cage of time -  from His Kingdom...

LET THE CIRCLE
BE UNBROKEN
By and By
LORD
by and by

We see Glimpses of Heaven on earth - not just in beautiful photographs - we see glimpses of God's Heaven on earth in His Word. Time is an aspect of God - The Almighty is in charge of time.

Revelation 3:5

Those who are victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out their names from the book of life, but will acknowledge their names before my Father and his angels.

Parents.

Mark 9:37
"Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me."

James 1:17
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

Matthew 19:14
But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”

Ecclesiastes 11:5
As you do not know the way the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything.

Mark 10:16
And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.

When we Welcome Jesus Christ.
When we are Parents.
We Welcome God in our lives.
We see Glimpses of God's Heart and Home.
The Kingdom of God.

Revelation 5:11
11 Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand.
They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders.

Luke 2
8 And in the same region, there were shepherds out in the field,
keeping watch over their flock by night.
9 And an angel of the Lord appeared to them,
and the glory of the Lord shone around them,
and they were filled with fear.
10 And the angel said to them, "Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy
that will be for all the people.
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
12 And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths
and lying in a manger."

13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host
praising God and saying,

14 "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!"

Revelation 4

11 "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they were created
and have their being."

Revelation 5

12 In a loud voice they were saying: "Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,

to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and
 honor and glory and praise!"

13 Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea,

and all that is in them, saying:
"To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be praise and honor and glory and power, forever and ever!"

Revelation 14
6 Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel
to proclaim to those who live on the earth
– to every nation, tribe, language and people.

Luke 2
9 And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them

Revelation 17:14
The Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings
– and with him
will be his called, chosen and faithful followers."

Revelation 21

The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass.

19 The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald

20 The fifth onyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth turquoise, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.

21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass.

22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.

23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.

24 The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it.

25 On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there.

26 The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it.

27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life.

We have  Memorial Day.

God has Eternity. The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it.

Abba Father,

The Blessing from the Free is placed upon the Brave. Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.

Let this Rest in the Highest Name Jesus Christ and be done with Love.

Amen in Jesus Christ. Amen.

Matthew 11:25-30 ~ I thank you, Father

Matthew 11:25-30

25 At that time Jesus declared, "I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children; 26 yes, Father, for such was your gracious will.

27 All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

We have reached Memorial Day Weekend. When others carried the heavy cost of freedom.

Genesis 2:2-3
2 And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.

3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.

Even in the Old Testament, God has marked the Seasons with Festivities. And in the New Testament - Jesus and His Brothers wrangled. The Scriptures give us perfectly the guide to Life. Abundant Life.

Why would God tell us the work of the planned path is light? Why would He say the yoke is easy? Because compared to His - this is true. Because when we Believe God and His Promises - the need for wrath is taken away with the Gift of Jesus and His Life. We live the gift of Liberty from brave troops - individual men, who gave their lives for us. For men who lived and gave incredible service to  us and our Nation. We Live the Gift of the Law of Liberty from Jesus.

God is for us. He tells us even Rest is Sanctified.

And planning, in advance, Rest is wonderful too.

Thank You, Father God. For what is given to us as a Merciful Gift.

In Jesus Christ. Amen.

Ephesians 1 ~ by the will of God

Psalm 19:1
The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

Ephesians 1

1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints who are in Ephesus, and are faithful in Christ Jesus: 2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, 4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him.

In love 5 he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. 7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, 8 which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight 9 making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ 10 as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth. 11 In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will, 12 so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory. 13 In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it,to the praise of his glory.

15 For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints, 16 I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ

The Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, 18 having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might 20 that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22 And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, 23 which is his body,
the fullness of him who fills all in all.

My mother is very elderly these days. A friend who is an attorney says that she runs into the same problem. To conduct banking and investments - you go into the Financial Institution. You take the elderly - they are unclear what's going on. You have their permission - you show a Durable Power of Attorney - you and your elderly parent sign the right papers. All is set up for your help.

My friend, like we do, gets gifts from the parent - for grandchildren. Passwords and online systems.

A week later - the password has changed. The ID has changed. My mother's email was lost due to old age, changing phones, etc. We have had 6 personal visits. And i have been online, 3 times on the phone yesterday, 9 times on the phone in 2 weeks. Passwords change. You have to stay on hold and explain to a new person each time. Varying degrees of helpfulness. "The Money: is managed - what do you mean you should earn more than 1%??? Why sell something that has lost 75%. It's part of the package.

What the password was lost?

My Attorney friend goes in for the same withdrawal they discussed last week  for the grandchild. With the Durable Power of Attorney. Sorry - yes, we see the history of the withdrawal. No. Don't recall the conversation. Go get the parent who is 87 years old.

So I have been on 6 personal visits with a Dementia Elderly. 4 emails. 2 times my mom has gone to do business. I have had to change her email out. And request a new ID away from The Social Security Number as the ID? How many new passwords with phone calls in a month? 12??? Oh yes we made that change. Om no.

You know at this point
 - you say words -
that at the end of the day you garden and  you say "I Know I'm Christian."
And you are so pleased to know God's mercy extends when you just don't feel you have human endurance any more. And all day you think of the hours and hours of work you put in to do something that should have taken - tops - 30 minutes.

It's a plain @$$ soul CRUNCHER.

I was the Legal Guardian of the Person and the Estate for 12 years of an elderly cousin who had 23 strokes - never to recover short or long-term memory care. Placed in a locked memory care facility to receive instruction and care. With two extra hired employees. And when you met someone in the financial institutions that didn't want to help with Year End Guardianship Accounting - they typically would say, "We must have you produce the owner of the account." About that time you'd have to say get the manager, a Legal Guardianship is higher in priority than a Durable Power of Attorney. And when you explained a locked in facility - horror of seeing a truly decayed individual would produce "real work".

My mother has accounts that have been managed that have lost a third of the value. But 'Boy Howdy" they are secure from family trying to help.

And that is NOT TO SAY - that where my mother banks there is not a teller who works her absolute tail off to deal with the way my mother banks. My mother has a teller who takes her calls - listens to the nonsensical - and protects and guards my mother.

With in banking, and not stock trading, another institution offers her 1% on her CD and other 'helpers' tell me we must return another day to bank on-line that we have conducted enough business and on-line banking can't be done "in this department." Which is a secondary excuse from 'done enough today.' Mother has two stock investment companies - the first was fired when they showed up at her house to 'help' her. It took my mother 3 days to communicate the transaction there. The next day - the old passwords don't work. The way the Institutions allow elderly assistance - is shocking.

In 1999, a life long friend of my family, my godparents', my godparents' children, my husband - he was a member of our wedding party - lost his job with a Major Stock Brokerage Company. I had hired him to invest my ward, my cousin's funds. We 'specifically' told him - do not load us up in Company funds. It must be the fund itself not the holdings of the Stock Brokerage Company. My ward lost 5% due to his ignoring our direct and specific orders. I had to report to the Probate Court for annual accounting on the Guardianship for the Person and the Estate. The Dallas Probate Court was going to call him to the witness stand until they called the Brokerage Firm and found he was fired for this and going to Assisted Living Facilities and funding up the old people in Assisted Living facilities. He took his father's clients and did this to them. Not a city of Dallas company - a nationally known Major Stock Brokerage Company.

And I will repeat - this happens to Attorneys in towns where they have done business as a family for 30 years with a Durable Power of Attorney on repeat historical business. This is suits playing upon the - elderly. And is so - reprehensible.

We get to go outside. Feel the breeze upon us. To see the flowers and the peaches. See the sun setting. Knowing HIS mercies renew tonight and as the sun rises tomorrow. Knowing the Grace of God fully understands about the frailty of human endurance and the words and thoughts of anger that passes.

Because Our God is more Enduring and More Present than our Difficulties.

Abba Father,

The Truth of Your Promises is more enduring than any person, time or circumstance. We can have a Promise for every single day.

Jesus told us of His Delight in Mankind and Desire to Save the World. He also told us there are goats and weeds. Jesus said He needed no man to explain to Him what was in mankind.

With the Grace of God - we do not allow a bad set of repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat circumstances have us throw the rock that Jesus told us not to throw at mankind.

Einstein said to expect a better outcome from the same set of circumstances is crazy. But God, of Almighty Power and Grace, allows Himself to be patient with us. The Enduring and Constant Steadfast Love God has for us. As we are.

May the Grace of God
Give us strength, Patience, Firmness of Purpose. And Blessings.

Covered in the Name of Jesus ~ The Highest Name of All.
For me,for you.
For our Loved Ones,
for the people You Give us.

For the Blessings of today we will willingly Thank You for.
Blessings of Family, well or ill.
Blessings of difficulties creating memories of Overcoming and learning wisdom.
Blessings in our job places of prayers answered.
Blessings in our schools that tests create places where prayer is freely given. Where God is prayed for - He will be there.

Blessings of Covered in Jesus
Our Nation Trusting in God.
The freedoms we receive in this Blessing upon our
Jobs, Schools, Communities, Churches.

Prayer of the Believers circling the earth of God's Creation -
where He sees good yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Thank Jesus. Amen.

1 John 1 ~ Our Joy may be fulfilled

The Video again starts with You Tube giving us their opinion. His hair looks Marvelous.

1 John 1

1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we looked upon and have touched with our hands, concerning the word of life--

2 the life was made manifest, and we have seen it, and testify to it and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was made manifest to us--

3 that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.

4 And we are writing these things so that our joy may be fufilled.

5 This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

6 If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

10 If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

If you haven’t taken part in the yanny/laurel controversy over the last couple of days, allow me to sincerely congratulate you. But your time is up. The viral speech synth clip has met the AI hype train and the result is, like everything in this mortal world, disappointing.

Sonix, a company that produces AI-based speech recognition software, ran the ambiguous sound clip through Google, Amazon and Watson’s transcription tools, and of course its own.

Google and Sonix managed to get it on the first try — it’s “laurel,” by the way. Not yanny. Laurel.

But Amazon stumbled, repeatedly producing “year old” as its best guess for what the robotic voice was saying. IBM’s Watson, amazingly, got it only half the time, alternating between hearing “yeah role” and “laurel.” So in a way, it’s the most human of them all.

One God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all

When your name is Anne and people ask A LOT if you are Annie, because you're from the south and this has an 'e' on the name. And when the world is talking about Yanny Laurel and the article asks about Al for A I? You have no doubt - no doubt - no doubt - This Is Going In The Post. And you like to drink Cofefe happily on the patio.

And when it blends into your week with the Law School Student Son and the Family Grand Dog. Welcome to my world!

Connecting the Noise, Emotions, Conversations
to make Life more Joyful in Times of Stress

This week our Fellowship Journey has been the return of our eldest son from Michigan and Law School with Jackson the wonder Grand-Dog. Jackson beams. People have to pet the dog. His Look is Pure Happiness.

This is not going to be a bummer Post:

Jackson arrived in 2009, after the death of our stillborn daughter and the passing of a friend of Cal's from High School. Jackson is from the Montgomery Co. Animal Shelter. The first week Jackson arrived, we sat in Isabelle's room and talked about greater meanings of God and new beginnings. And adapting and adopting. It was an unusual week - where teenager and 20s and mom and new dog stay in a pale green bedroom to take down an unused crib. I doubt any of us will forget that Spring Break weekend. It all culminated.

My family has gone from the preppiest of families to adapting to not be Ecclesiastes House. My mother has been diagnosed with needing a new knee and is putting that off because she has an Alzheimer Diagnosis. Some days my mother is 'on' and other days she talks to the flowers on the other side of the pool from inside the house. We watch - but - the flowers don't apparently answer. And other days she makes sense and you have to pause and wait to see which way that's going. It's like surfing.

My husband has been terminally diagnosed by the Chief of Medicine of M.D. Anderson, Dr. Frank Adams, with Picks Disease. Edward worked for Wells Fargo Downtown Dallas as a Commercial Loan Officer with an MBA and a degree from Texas A & M in Finance that took him 3 years. My new neighbor commented my husband is a "Rockn'" the Disc Golf World. Yes. His wardrobe has changed. He is Tommy Bahama and Treasurer of his Disc Golf Club over our area of Texas - doing the accounting for Texas State Championship and coming in 3rd in his age group. But sometimes - Edward will say something - where we are all going to surf that.

Edward is really pretty happy in a Picks Disease grumpy way. Edward is actually a Miracle of God to do so very well.

My Sons have been Youth Ministers at Church. And Edward and I did that for 10 years in our small Church. And now we talk about D and D. Twenty-nine year olds tend to make their own decisions.

We have arrived at this -
Wait for the Good Pitches. Dodge the Bad Pitches. Run the Bases. Have a Good Time. Enjoy Today. This is what you have. Be Grateful - God is blessing you in this day by day way.

Ok - back to this week.

Cal was pretty sure Jackson was dying. Now - this is bad. The Beloved Pet is Dying. But add into a household with 2 Terminal Diagnosis - and you pretty well have ... DREAD.

When Dread arrives in the household
- people are - wonky is a good term. But Uptight and Themselves are probably more explanatory. I yell at you. I join the other person agreeing that this is always bad. You yell at the other person. They agree the argument is fair. And it's all - not - what it's really about. Sometimes the argument works HARD to make sure emotions are released - but the conversation isn't valid. Because no one wants to talk about Death, Suffering and Discomfort.

Dread means nothing - it's worry. Jackson is doing far better from seeing good and thorough Vets.

Now you expect me to say - this is bad. You know - it's not. If we talk about the language in John 14 - many rooms in my Father's House. And say our emotional lives - the way Father God puts us together - allows us to have compartments to be grateful for.

We have this in our life - The Rooms of this House we live: We are workers. We are cookers/shoppers. We are cleaners. We are laundry people. We are yard tenders. We are Married. We are Adult Children. We are Parents. We are Family. We are Friends. We have cars and car shopping, garage cleaner-up. We have body requirements like shopping, exercise and doctors. We have appointments, plans and dreams.

And we get out of balance doing something like Physical Therapy and suddenly realize we have chores. Or Work is taking us out of our children's activities. We now have a New Need...

Another way to see this House we are:
We have a heart, body, mind and soul. We were children. We were students. We have age groups of student memories. We have had conversations. We have had friendships to make an impact. We have had family arguments. We have departed family. We have family with needs. We have friends with needs. We have conversations where we wonder what we learned and then apply a new thing. We think of Old Sermons. And family history. And new Sermons. And the Bible we read. We think of History, Culture, Courage and Conviction.

So what am I saying - We have "Houses" requiring trimming.
Do this with honesty internally and not lean on one another too heavily.
Be the builder of one another. Stand in the gap - help one another.
Yet find the balance to live life honestly with our emotions.
A new coat of paint. We have rooms that we could label depression. We have rooms we label "The Path Not Taken" or Let's be honest, frank and to the point "Did I do my life correctly?" "Do I like what I did with my life?" "Do I approve of my life?"

One of my favorite things in life was our Youth Minister Mike McDonald came in Totally Jazzed UP from a Seminar for Youth Ministers called "How to Arrange Your Daily Planner for the Entire Year and then ... Your Life."

The result was - - - You Can Not. The Pitches come in Really Fast. And let me add something here. When God says something He intends this for "Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow." God sees His Creation as Good. God looks into the heart of mankind and delights and He sees farther, farther, farther "FATHER" than we do.

We need Father God. Daily.

Behold. You are a New Creation in Jesus Christ.
Why? Life and Death. Good and Evil.
Try again.
Hope.

Isaiah 35

1 The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad; the desert shall rejoice and blossom like the crocus

2 it shall blossom abundantly and rejoice with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, the majesty of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the LORD, the majesty of our God.

3 Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees.

4 Say to those who have an anxious heart, "Be strong; fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save you."

5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped

6 then shall the lame man leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute sing for joy. For waters break forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert;

7 the burning sand shall become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water; in the haunt of jackals, where they lie down, the grass shall become reeds and rushes.

8 And a highway shall be there, and it shall be called the Way of Holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it. It shall belong to those who walk on the way; even if they are fools, they shall not go astray.
9 No lion shall be there, nor shall any ravenous beast come up on it; they shall not be found there, but the redeemed shall walk there.

10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return and come to Zion with singing; everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; they shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

5Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened,
and the ears of the deaf unstopped;
6then shall the lame man leap like a deer,
and the tongue of the mute sing for joy.
For waters break forth in the wilderness,
and streams in the desert;
7the burning sand shall become a pool,
and the thirsty ground springs of water;
in the haunt of jackals, where they lie down,
the grass shall become reeds and rushes.

8And a highway shall be there,
and it shall be called the Way of Holiness;
the unclean shall not pass over it.
It shall belong to those who walk on the way;
even if they are fools, they shall not go astray.a
9No lion shall be there,
nor shall any ravenous beast come up on it;
they shall not be found there,
but the redeemed shall walk there.
10And the ransomed of the LORD shall return
and come to Zion with singing;

everlasting joy shall be upon their heads;
they shall obtain gladness and joy,
and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Today if you hear His Voice. Go there. Each day put out your hands in prayer and believe Jesus is answering every prayer you have. And the Creator of ALL - is going to be pleased with you.

What about the years the Locust ate?
Moses and Haggai knew about this. Daniel. Jeremiah. Mary and Joseph. Peter.

And Winston Churchill.
"Do you have enemies?
Good - then you stood for something."
Locusts. What we tell ourselves. Our circular thoughts that consume us. You are a New Creature in Jesus Christ. Locusts and enemies define us. Weakened conditions define us. Why? We have an opportunity to do something new.

A new opportunity.

a Pray instead of complaining. Try God first.

b Decide not to copy what is wrong
- copy what is right. We tend to believe in the culture of power. Really what is enduring is love. We have a lot of things really wonky in my family. We don't nod at what is wrong. But we don't get out the hair shirt, - never was in the Bible - and nail that on. We wait for God to be God believing He will. Praising what is right. Honoring what is good. Jesus had faith in His Brothers to get to be in the Will of God. Jesus believed Father God would bring the problem in close to His Healing Heart like the Prodigal.

c Remembering this in being the uppity one who is calm today
- God has to stand for us and with us -
because our arms are going to get tired being "all righteous."
Eventually, our human capacity to fail is going to appear.
And we will need His Compassion to try again.

d Permission to fail. Not the kind of permission saying we treat God as our waiter.

e BE GRATEFUL. Love with sincerity is the way God will relate to us.

May the God of Hope

God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark,
and he sent a wind over the earth,
and the waters receded.

Fill you with all joy and peace in believing,
So have you acted honorably and in good faith toward others today?
If you have, may you be a joyful soul, and may you be God's Beloved!

Judges 9:19

so that by the power of the Holy Spirit
1 Thessalonians 1:5 because our gospel came to you not simply with words
but also with power,
with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction.
You know how we lived among you for your sake.

you may abound in hope
thanks be to God!
He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm.
Let nothing move you.
Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord,
because you know that your labor in the Lord is His to fill and reward.

In the Name and Power of Jesus
to allow God to bring all Good to Him and from Him

We cover ourselves
our Loved Ones
the people God has given us,
The Nation Trusting in God,
All the nations Trusting in God,
our jobs,
schools, praying for Santa Fe, Texas,
for the Beloved of Jesus Christ
and our prayer to see more of the Holy Spirit
more of God's Heaven on earth.

In the Name of Jesus, we ask. Amen.

Psalm 139 The Reckless Love of God

This is when you want someone to probe you about the Bible being not Politically Correct, Right?

OK, true story. I was on a flight to Washington D.C. for my birthday trip gift from my brother and my niece. I was reading Scripture and my brother says, "Hey - I think the Bible is loooooooooooaded with kill you and kill them and looting. It's about the Bronze Age and petty tribal power. With beheadings. Sword kill you. "

Siblings. We all need them. Mom - he's crossing the line. Make him stop.

My reaction. Look this way. Look that way. Yep, heads are looking. Turning. Getting a pointed at. We have now been on vacation for 15 minutes. I look at my brother. Hard. He says, "Answer the f ing question, forgedabod them."

I reply. "You do that impression pretty well." He's an attorney - he bothers people for a living, when he isn't a peacemaker. And actually, being an attorney - he is really good at peacemaking. The career has been really good for him. Except he was a sibling kicking me in the head - first. He knew how to do that and look like, "What me?"

My brother, my sibling replies. "Yeah, you're dodging. I just insulted the Bible. Answer."

Now a few more people are looking - but this time - the crowd very quickly does not meet eye to eye and looks at laps, laptops, books. It's a knee JERK thing. Sibling.

I said, "The Bible covers the Bronze Age. It's back to the Exodus which the History Channel even supports the plagues and evidence of the Bible."

John says, "No, the Bronze Age is 1,000 B.C."

No - the Bronze Age ends at 1,000 B.C. the Iron Age is when King David and Solomon are coming to power."

My Brother, the Attorney says, "Oh History Lesson before dealing with the killings and petty power."

Right. The Bible starts cooking when the Children of Israel learn God's Name and that God still is a Physical Presence willing to Rescue and Deliver Establishing His Promises. And this is not petty tribal warfare. Egypt is the richest Kingdom on earth. When God starts - God starts Big. Like Jesus starts out with the whole town turns out to hear from the Man who did every sign of the Messiah before His first Sermon.

The Bible has God Showing Up Hugely every 500 Years. So David hits the Iron Age.

"That's when we get petty tribal warfare."

No. Solomon's Kingdom is debated to go as far as Greece. Solomon married Pharaoh's Daughter, Solomon the Wise. Invaders show up in Egypt, there is no war and the pirates leave with the Treasury. Unidentified - to the point - leave fast - Treasury Robbery. And not only that, before, when God got finished with the Plagues of Exodus - the people of Egypt were throwing all their gold and silver plate and jewelry begging the slaves to leave. They leave with so much gold and silver - they were paid for their years of Slavery. God is God.

"But they kill people and the Crusades."

"You, my sibling, have an undergraduate in classical History. You know the history of mankind is warfare. Every political upheaval is war. So, to say this is of the Bible - we have a discrepancy. War is Government establishment. Almost Always."

"What are you reading right this minute, Anne-Laurel?"

Psalm 139

1 O LORD, you have searched me and known me!

2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar.

3 You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways.

4 Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O LORD, you know it altogether.

5 You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it.
7 Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence?
8 If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!
9 If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
10 even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.
11 If I say, "Surely the darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night,"
12 even the darkness is not dark to you; the night is bright as the day, for darkness is as light with you.
13 For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb.
14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!
18 If I would count them, they are more than the sand. I awake, and I am still with you.
19 Oh that you would slay the wicked, O God! O men of blood, depart from me!

20 They speak against you with malicious intent; your enemies take your name in vain!
21 Do I not hate those who hate you, O LORD? And do I not loathe those who rise up against you?
22 I hate them with complete hatred; I count them my enemies.
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts!
24 And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!

"See, Anne-Laurel, the Bible is all this poetry and then you get to the bottom of the Psalm and it's all bloodshed."

"One Important Point of God is this: no one really, really wants to read the first 5 books of the Bible. The Pentateuch are the first 5 Books of the Bible where the "BLESSINGS" are located. And in telling of us how to get to the Blessings - you read pages and pages and pages of what not to do. And because of the Pentateuch, we have a better culture."

My Brother, the Attorney, with a Classical Undergraduate Degree says, "OK, we agree there. Because almost all Cultures point back to Abraham to establish the basis of the Legal Law. Because Abraham was a rational man - we actually have 'Culture' today."

I said, "Right, exactly. Abraham is called 3,000 years ago 'Father of Nations.' "

My brother says, "No Bull? But the Bible was written in like 400 A.D. for the New Testament and no one knows about the Old Testament."

"No. The Papyrus 46 is owned by the University of Michigan and the way the pronouns are written are a 300 THREE HUNDRED BIBLE INTACT CHAPTERS and a debate that this is 90 A.D. or 120 A.D. When Paul, in the Holy Spirit, writes the New Testament, Paul refers to the daily on-going work/sacrifice in the Jerusalem Temple still operating until 70 A.D. When Jesus would have died of Old Age - Naturally."

"And the Dead Sea Scrolls - the whole point of the Essenes as hermits, who copy the Bible. And their Bible entirely match the Bible the Gutenberg Bible just blithely put out - completely matching a Bible from 0 A.D. - This is the PROOF these words were so Holy - the Words Match to Match. The Bible is revered, copied, died for, held forth as the Holy Word of God Himself. The Dead Sea Scroll is HUGE. Found in a 500 year mark historically."

"We die. We go Home. The Word of God is Upheld." We are folded up as a garment. The grass withers, the flower fades. The Word of God Endures Forever.

Ok, but why did Psalm 139 end so hatefully?

A man lives in the world. In all types and stages of history - he loves and has a child. This child is precious to him. Suddenly this man realizes he is a man. He takes a look at the environment around him. Does his government provide stability? Is his job enduring to support his child, this infant? Does he have an enemy who would kill his child? Suddenly - a battle is much, much, much more ferocious.

I said, "John, didn't you ever have someone in your life that suddenly you worried your very place in life?"

Yes. I said Edward too. He had a boss who took his salary down and made us have a month where our income was $200. And suddenly a mild-mannered man is angry beyond belief.

Psalm 139. Is very like the Holy of Holies. A seat. The Ark of the Covenant is actually a seat.

Genesis 3
8a Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day

God always intended to live and move and have His Being to be part of all of our lives. To tenderly hold us under the Wing of God Himself. And God realizes Life has come to be. Life moves like Light. Fast. Life has made mankind like Aaron coming into the Holy of Holies. Aaron is going to make a horrible mess. Blood. Life. Mess. And God thought about how acceptable mankind was to Him. The flood - many histories record. I think the flooding of the world we call the Ice Age is the Great Flood. Mankind would worship other gods who asked for baby sacrifice because early man didn't realize blood meal was good fertilizer and 'prosperity'. God always always always as the God of Abraham said no murder or baby murder. And the gods pollute mankind with bloodshed of even the innocent.

It was never petty. Ever. It was a fight of Good and Evil. Life and Death. Heaven or hell.

And because the Journey of Life - is so serious - is Life and Death. Because God would let Aaron come in and throw blood, blood, blood - because of the Overwhelming Love of God
Because God desires to save the world
because God writes He looks into mankind and finds He wants to save
because God has studied mankind since the beginning
God wants to
.............put up with the mess. To have the Relationship.

This is our God.

God would ALLOW David to record for all time the hate in his heart. The sheer NEED to Thrive. To make a path for Children. The way life causes War.

It's like the Holy of Holies. God goes with us in the horrible, hard, nasty, treacherous, wild winds of life.

God says He will Never Forsake us.

The Bronze to Iron Age is known to be Bloody, yet our Century is known to be one of the Bloodiest of all of mankind. World Wars. Nuclear Attacks and Abortion. Terrorism. Knowledge, appearance and isolation.

Psalm 139 exists to comfort Edward when his income is taken and he has $200 for the month. With two toddlers.

Psalm 139 exists to comfort us when we feel hatred. When life is being taken from us.

God Will Never Leave Nor Forsake us. EVER. All aspects of Life are covered in the Name of Jesus and are in His Hand.

We do not go alone. God is with us.

As we got off the plane, John said that truly made sense.

Father God,

And we who know Father God pray like this: "I know Father God, I'm ok. I Pray for the one who is worried because they do not know the Peace and Unending Overwhelming Unceasing Reckless Love of God. Leave the 99 to find the lost one."

And we pray more of God's Kingdom on earth. Filling our loved ones. The people given to us by Father God. Our employments. Our schools. Our Nation Trusting in God. The Nations of the world Trusting in God. The Beloved of God in unceasing prayer conversations with God who wants the Relationship. Because the Grace of God is Jesus Christ HIS ONLY SON. Our Savior. Amen and amen and Amen.

About Me

My photo
Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
