Psalm 41
A Psalm of David.
Blessed is the one who considers the poor!
In the day of trouble the Lord delivers him;
2 the Lord protects him and keeps him alive;
he is called blessed in the land;
you do not give him up to the will of his enemies.
3 The Lord sustains him on his sickbed;
in his illness you restore him to full health.
4 As for me, I said, “O Lord, be gracious to me;
heal me, for I have sinned against you!”
5 My enemies say of me in malice,
“When will he die, and his name perish?”
6 And when one comes to see me, he utters empty words,
while his heart gathers iniquity;
when he goes out, he tells it abroad.
7 All who hate me whisper together about me;
they imagine the worst for me.
8 They say, “A deadly thing is poured out on him;
he will not rise again from where he lies.”
9 Even my close friend in whom I trusted,
who ate my bread, has lifted his heel against me.
10 But you, O Lord, be gracious to me,
and raise me up, that I may repay them!
11 By this I know that you delight in me:
my enemy will not shout in triumph over me.
12 But you have upheld me because of my integrity,
and set me in your presence forever.
13 Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel,
from everlasting to everlasting!
Amen and Amen.
When God hold us, David and then Solomon's, Temple would not be able to hold even God's Robe, He meant this kindly. So Kindly as Solomon opened the Temple with prayer and Priests, The Temple filled with a cloud we could see in Hubble Telescopes.
History barely holds His Robe as well. The Messiah was occurring all over Israel. Isaiah told us Nations would arrive at His Brightness and we find the Magi arrive. Wise Men seeking Jesus.
We find as the Gospels open ~
Jesus is consecrated to God in His Holy Temple. We meet Simeon and Anna proclaiming the Holy Spirit. The Essenes began leaving the Temple during and before the Life of Jesus. The Dead Sea Scrolls are from the Essenes and are from the last 3rd Centuries B.C. and the first Century A.D. The Essenes said over and over life was coming to an end in Israel soon. When Herod wanted to pick the priests and marry his living brother's wife, the Essenes were out of the Temple. Proclaiming it defunct of the Holy Spirit. Now, Jesus, disagreed and Jesus taught many times in the Temple. But the Essenes were right on some levels. Israel/Judea/suburb of Syria in the eyes of the Roman Empire was destroyed in 70 A.D., when the natural life of Jesus would have ended. Father God was not going to make null and void the life and healing ministry of Jesus Christ and His eternal forgiveness on His Cross.
We know about Hanukkah and the Davidic Line, how did we end up with the Hanukkah miracle being so very celebrated and the Herods?
Hasmonean was the family name of the rebel leader and priest, Mattathias, who began to throw off Seleucid rule. Upon his death his sons continued the rebellion and were eventually successful in gaining Jewish autonomy under the Seleucids and then, with the disintegration of the Seleucid Empire, full Jewish independence. Simon (brother of Judah Maccabee and son of Mattathias) was the first Hasmonean ruler of an autonomous state. The Hasmoneans are also called Asmoneans. The name Hasmonean comes from the Hebrew word chashman (“wealthy”). According to Josephus, a priest named Chashman, from the family of Jehoiarib (cf. 1 Chronicles 24:7), was the ancestor of the Hasmoneans. Their history is found in the works of Josephus and the apocryphal books of 1 and 2 Maccabees.
Hanukkah is the miracle of 'Light' allowing Simon (brother of Judah Maccabee and son of Mattathias) to be able to withstand Seleucids who wanted to sacrifice to Zeus in "The Temple". The Victory was miraculous. It was truly pretty near perfect the call to beat plowshares into weapons.
Under Hasmonean rule, the kingdom expanded its borders, covering an area almost as large as the nation had under King Solomon. John Hyrcanus captured Transjordan, Galilee, Samaria and Idumea (Edom). His son Aristobulus I was the high priest and the first Hasmonean to take the title “king.” However, political intrigue and infighting followed, and finally civil war erupted.
The Hasmonean dynasty lasted about 80 years from about 140 to 63 BC.
Herod's Jerusalem Palace, then and now
The Herods married in. And were found to be extremely violent.
The Herods, Roman Educated and of Samaritan (3 Tribes of Jacob surviving the Babylonian Capture - the Remnant) descent and related to Cleopatra and Arsinoë IV (her DNA was recently discovered) when her sister then exiled to the Temple of Artemis at Ephesus in Roman Anatolia, but she was executed there by orders of triumvir Mark Antony in 41 BC at the behest of Cleopatra.
Herod created the atmosphere Essenes wanted to escape. Herod named Caesarea as he ran his brown nose campaign.
We are truly a world always having the Trouble Jesus said we would have - echoing and relating all over the Globe, even before the Bronze Age.
Cave Four of the Dead Sea Scrolls is famous for being the most photographed. The contents are not as famous because they are from the Hasmonean era.
The Signs of the Messiah: 4Q521
These dry, obscure pieces of Papyrus are the Essenes (*Correctly predicting their own deaths in 70 AD) recording history they were deathly afraid would be lost forever. The History of the amazing recovery from destruction of the Second Temple by Nebuchadnezzar II. This is The Remnant God Promised.

How does our Psalm 41 relate to the Dead Sea Scrolls?
[the hea]vens and the earth will listen to His Messiah ["anointed one"], and none therein will stray from the commandments of the holy ones.
Seekers of the Lord, strengthen yourselves in His service!
All you hopeful in (your) heart, will you not find the Lord in this?
For the Lord will consider the pious (hasidim) and call the righteous by name.
Over the poor His spirit will hover and will renew the faithful with His power.
And He will glorify the pious on the throne of the eternal Kingdom.

Slander
Even my close friend in whom I trusted
my enemy will not shout in triumph over me.
The Lord has a very different view of Poverty. Illness, war, enmity, slander, emotional hurt.
Struck down and not destroyed.

2 Corinthians 12:19
It is in the sight of God that we have been speaking in Christ, and all for your upbuilding, beloved.
Romans 15:4-13
For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.
5 May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, 6 so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Abba,
We ask Your blessing upon ourselves, the ones we Love, the people You have given us. This Nation. Peace for all.
Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Philippians 4:8
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
2 Corinthians 4:16
So we do not lose heart
Our Amen is in Jesus.
