In your hearts revere Christ as Lord. 

Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect



1 Peter 2:9

You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.



1 Peter 3:18

For Christ also suffered once for sins,
the righteous for the unrighteous,
to bring you to God.
He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.





What do James Bond, Ferris Bueller and Zeus Have in Common?

When one considers the longevity, luxury and l'amour. Honestly, we run together so many life stories, books, literature and Buckle our seatbelts movie bumpy ride adventures. Zeus had more longevity - rock on in rock, paper, scissors. James, James Bond asurreedly carried scissors. Ferris Bueller, paper, covers the L'amour.

Zeus answers a lot of questions about the eternal elbows out, self/self promotion theology.

Light, Love, Family, Endurance and Rock Solid Love define Jesus Christ, God's Own Nature.



God created, saying, "Let There Be Light." And then God said this to Paul. The last of the Disciples to meet Jesus. And in this magnificence, Paul went blind and could see Jesus Who Heals Us All. Blessed are the eyes who do not see, and yet believe.

God sent forth Peter to the Jews and Paul to the Gentiles. And in reuniting God's Good Creation with Jesus Christ, the protestant world lost something of the outstanding Beauty of Jesus Christ reflected in Peter.

We've looked at Matthew, Mark and John. Some of Luke.

Consider, deeply consider, Jesus said faith is unseen. For 2,000 years we have reflected on God's Love filling Paul with all the amazing love Paul pours forth in God's Beloved. Us. The astonishing Love our Father God has for us - fragile as flowers in history - God finds mankind reflecting God's own Light.

Peter is not passed over as a ninny. Peter is not a Scholar, Peter is told by Andrew (his brother) in John 1 = the Messiah is doing Messiah miracles and The Christ of God has arrived. Peter is told. We need to see what Father God sees in Peter. And we will be blessed, and blessed and blessed. Peter has moved his family

John 1:44
Philip, like Andrew and Peter, was from the town of Bethsaida.

The Archaeology of Capernaum shows Peter and Andrew owned the largest home in Capernaum and the only house with plaster walls. Where the House Church put up graffiti to give Glory to God. Peter found in Capernaum a place to feed the Roman grown Judea.

This was great reasoning because the fertile fields of Capernaum and Northern Galilee would feed Israel undisturbed until 1300 A.D. Northern Galilee is the Land of Milk and Honey for fields and fishing. Peter has shown wisdom with Andrew to move Peter, Andrew, Peter's wife and Peter's wife's mother. Peter and Andrew nourish each other as family.

Peter's life explains immediately Peter is not a Scholar, yet he is like Simeon, (Luke 2) Peter expects to see God. He is prepared to see God's Purpose. Peter encounters God in his own chosen Hometown.

Peter becomes like the Shepherds of Luke 2. He moves to be part of God's Plan. He is like Abraham, Peter moves to Rome to live in God's Purposes for Peter. He follows Jesus' Plan for Peter to build His Church upon the Rock in Rome. Peter wants to live and move and have God's Word dwell in him. The Words, Peter tells Jesus, have Life. David explained in the Psalms, he had come to do the Words of Jesus.

Then I said, "Here I am, I have come-- it is written about me in the scroll.


Peter, like the Brothers of Jesus, travel with his wife. And Peter, doing the Commandment of Jesus to Love one another finds a son in Mark.

Peter is like Hezekiah, yet Peter knows enough to be diligent and be Jonah putting a place for Jesus while vanishing. What is seen is transient. What is unseen is eternal. Jonah knew to complain to God when Jonah didn't understand. Peter if found complaining to the incredibly Risen Messiah of God in John 21. Glorious Jesus Christ and Graciously preparing fish for a meal, Peter acts as Job and asks Jesus, "Why Your Plan?"

Would there be a worse time to complain? EVER? God interweaves all things for Good. We learn the Scriptures are real, so real. The Blind men calling out to Jesus were told to sit down and be quiet. Peter explains Peter's purpose in the middle of explaining his audacious questions. The Disciples would turn children away from Jesus Christ. Tell Blind men to hush. Bother Jesus at the Glory of Returning from the Transfiguration. And not one of them asked Peter to be quiet.




Peter is asking the questions they want to know. Peter has just displayed his own wisdom in not trying to walk on water to Jesus for the second time, but he is displaying his gift to be able to help mankind know what God's Purpose is. God displays His Goodness in not letting Peter sink, but immediately has always helped a sinful Peter. Peter is not a rock star Scholar, but Peter explains mankind and the needs of regular people.

Peter's life explains why Zeus is a failure as a god. And Peter's life is going to put this all in focus. Peter can complain to God and God will care enough to want to fix a meal for His people and to prepare a Kingdom in eternity. The Scriptures are real. Peter has the God Given ability, the God Given Gift to capture and explain what those near to Jesus long to ask. Peter a Scholar? No. Peter is a Jonah. Peter vanishes, but the life of Peter in Rome propels the people of Rome to want to know Jesus Christ. Peter has build where Hezekiah "Jesus" can remain. Peter is answering the person to on fire person with the Holy Spirit questions. Glory and Heart Felt Recognition of God's Love in Jesus Christ.





The Population of the City of Rome was about a million people. No city would reach this size again until 1900 London. What would the people of Rome need with Jesus? Weren't they filled in all the joy of amazing wealth and trade and power?

What was Peter seeing?

Peter was to bring down the gods. The gods were known to be lukewarm. Surely a Roman lukewarm people would not want to know the Stoic and Judgemental God of The Old Testament. Why know a Fisherman Carpenter Crucified??? The gods understood violence and power. Why not admire the lukewarm gods?

My son Alexander had a wonderful job while at Baylor University. He worked for Professor Nathan Elkins, who recently wrote a book, available on Amazon, on the Emperors of Rome and the Colosseum.

Lukewarm and Power.
Nero destroyed the body of Peter, Disciple of Jesus. But Nero destroyed the homes of inner city Rome. The houses of the elite and powerful. He destroyed Peter who spoke of Love. Nero took the destroyed homes of the long known Romans in the middle of Rome and he built himself a 200 acre palace, even roofing the lakes of Rome. And if one of the goddesses of Fortune Temple didn't burn, Nero roofed the temple and put it in his palace.

Nero had a wooden amphitheater pre-dating the Colosseum. And we find Rome lived in the same manner as the Caste System of India. The Emperor would make sure the sunlight stayed on him. But the caste system made sure that the Senatorial class, the equestrian class and each class did not mingle at all. Even if the priests of the temples invited guests, the guests did not mingle from class to class.



Mary knew of what she was speaking. The Scriptures are so real. The Disciples were asking Jesus in Acts 1 when Israel would be saved. God had more in mind.

for he who is mighty has done great things for me,

50 And his mercy is for those who fear him
from generation to generation.
51 He has shown strength with his arm;
he has scattered the proud in the thoughts of their hearts;
52 he has brought down the mighty from their thrones
and exalted those of humble estate;

The Slave class in Rome was huge. No hope in life but to know labor and suffering.

1 Peter 2:9

Augustus was tired of divorce not benefitting the taxes of Rome. Augustus re-directed the taxes and marriages of Rome. Suddenly divorce was everywhere in a nation that had honored marriage and family. Divorce here there and everywhere.

1 Peter 2:24
"He himself bore our sins" in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; "by his wounds you have been healed."

Jesus cared. Jesus knew we know within ourselves to honor God Himself. When the gods didn't care if someone had divorced, married, been left, betrayed - Jesus would address real issues with mercy. Because Jesus is the Son of God. His exact nature.

In money, power mad Rome, money was the goal. Parenting - not always lasting or caring deeply.


1 Peter 5:8
Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.


God Himself, believes in the wisdom of His creation - mankind and will remind us to be wise.


1 Peter 1:3
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead

The muck of maintaining power and place. Jesus wanted those who felt the burden to feel His Love.




Romans knew what it was to be ill, to have deformity, to be limited in health. To be marked. To be lame. To be broken. Jesus was healing All.

1 Peter 4:10
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms

In God's Love, talents and gifts were found and appreciated. To be celebrated and enjoyed.




1 Peter 3:5
For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to adorn themselves. They submitted themselves to their own husbands

Women in Rome had been honored as dignified keepers of family and valor. Now women were traded for money, for governmental alliances. Jesus was restoring what Romans had known of God adorning women. Jesus has always been our advocate.



God would give His Son?

1 Peter 5:7
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.




Sincerity over gain.

1 Peter 1:22
Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth
so that you have sincere love for each other,
love one another deeply, from the heart.


2 Peter 1:3
His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life
 through our knowledge of him 
who called us by his own glory and goodness.





Romans competed. For honors, for employment, for inheritance.

2 Peter 3:15
Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him.

2 Peter 1:10
Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election.
For if you do these things, you will never stumble




The City of Rome could be very violent.

2 Peter 2:9
If this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials
and to hold the unrighteous for punishment
on the day of judgment



Why were the people of Rome interested in what Jesus would say? The same reason Peter followed Jesus.


John 1
47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no deceit!”

48 Nathanael said to him, “How do you know me?”

Jesus answered him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”

49 Nathanael answered him, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!”

50 Jesus answered him, “Because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig tree,’ do you believe?

You will see greater things than these.” 51 And he said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you,[m] you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”

Peter and the people of Rome really saw Greater Things.






Abba,

You have told us You daily restore Your Mercies. You overcome the world.

Thank You Jesus takes our hearts and we are made unafraid.

You have given us the Words of Life, we will be Justified with Faith and Believe in God in Jesus Christ. God's Peace is complete assurance in the Love, Mercy, Power and Glory of Your Word and Your Kingdom and Your Love.

The Peace of God will Rule our hearts, we will be one Body of Jesus Christ and be thankful.


The Purpose of God will Stand.

In the Forgiveness of God, we will receive the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.

The Word of God is complete and Jesus will fill every dot and iota.

We will ask God for His Will to be done on earth as in Heaven. And we will rejoice in His Delivery and The Kingdom of God, His Power and His Glory.

Cover us all in the Name of Jesus. Our families, to bless the people You have given us, filling our loved ones to the Nation - Trusting in God.



Rejoicing with all God's Good Creation to celebrate God's Love as we pray in the Name of Jesus.

Mark 3:7-19 ~ And he went up on the mountain and called to him those whom he desired, and they came to him.

Mark 3:7-19

Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the sea, and a great crowd followed, from Galilee and Judea 8 and Jerusalem and Idumea and from beyond the Jordan and from around Tyre and Sidon. When the great crowd heard all that he was doing, they came to him. 9 And he told his disciples to have a boat ready for him because of the crowd, lest they crush him, 10 for he had healed many, so that all who had diseases pressed around him to touch him. 11 And whenever the unclean spirits saw him, they fell down before him and cried out, “You are the Son of God.” 12 And he strictly ordered them not to make him known.


13 And he went up on the mountain and called to him those whom he desired, and they came to him. 14 And he appointed twelve (whom he also named apostles) so that they might be with him and he might send them out to preach 15 and have authority to cast out demons. 16 He appointed the twelve: Simon (to whom he gave the name Peter); 17 James the son of Zebedee and John the brother of James (to whom he gave the name Boanerges, that is, Sons of Thunder); 18 Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Zealot, 19 and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.




The Gospels, from every one contributing to the telling and writing of Jesus, tell a miracle we often overlook. Jesus asked men He chose to leave their lives - follow Him - and they did.

The reactions to Jesus were profound.

In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.

Those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become Children of God.

From His fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.

“Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!"

“I saw the Spirit descend from heaven like a dove, and it remained on Him. I myself did not know Him"

I have seen and have borne witness that this is the Son of God.

“We have found the Messiah”

“Rabbi, you are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!”

All spoke well of him and were amazed at the gracious words that came from his lips.

“Truly I tell you,” he continued, “no prophet is accepted in his hometown."

All the people in the synagogue were furious when they heard this. They got up, drove Him out of the town, and took Him to the brow of the hill on which the town was built, in order to throw Him off the cliff. But He walked right through the crowd and went on His Way.

“What words these are! With authority and power He gives orders"

At daybreak, Jesus went out to a solitary place. The people were looking for him and when they came to where he was, they tried to keep him from leaving them.

He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

Behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”

And immediately he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants and followed him.


Matthew 27:54 
When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, "Surely he was the Son of God!"





Genesis 22:18 
And in your offspring shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed my voice.

Abba,

There is One Who is Good. Jesus Christ, One with the Father.

Father, as a Child of God, I invite You to Live in me. To dwell. To carry me in Your Plan and Purpose. I believe Your Good is for me, in Jesus Christ. I rejoice Jesus is My Salvation and removes my transgressions as far as East from West. Forever You will remember my sins no more. 

Blessed is the One who is held Righteous as the Free Gift of Jesus Christ. The Name of Jesus covers me and when You see me You see Jesus and will remember Your Word nothing can take me from You.

Blessed is the Child of God who believes in You in Jesus Christ.

Romans 10:9 ~ Jesus is Lord



Romans 10:9
If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.


 Each verse of the Bible witnessing - God is Love. 
The multitude and vastness of His attributes.


The Bible was written for you.




In fact, the phrase "God is" is used 1481 times.
To tell us exactly who and why 
the Great Our Father wants to reach out to you.

Father God draws us to Him in unique ways.

So Father God draws us in - in moments - a child is born. When we are so young - doorknobs are far up - when spring is very green - Birthdays make magic. A  grandparent goes Home to Great Reward - to be cherished and loved. Love not put way and waiting until the Great Reunion Does Occur.

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, called our Father - Abba - Pappa.

Pappa drew Abraham to look - - - Up. 
To see far... To see many things beyond one man.





Genesis 15

5 And He said to him, "So shall your descendants be." 6 Then he believed in the LORD; and He reckoned it to him as righteousness.

We rarely remember God spoke of Abraham too. Our Father God is Father of all.


15 As for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried in a good old age. 




Pappa has aspects we can feel and understand, He draws us to Him in understanding. And Pappa is Marvelous and Beyond all Things, for He created all things.

Pappa is indeed like C.S. Lewis' Aslan - "He is not a tame Lion." Pappa is our Father. Pappa loves to give awe and wonder. Most fathers crave this awe and wonder from their own family. We are, after all, our Father's children.

Pappa loves to make us wonder. When His creation describes meeting Pappa - rarely does life stay neutral or unconcerned. Life becomes Abundant.

Pappa is Wise because Wisdom comes from Pappa. He is Ancient of Days.

Our Advocate. Our Father.

Pappa loves us first. Pappas do this.


1 John 4:19

We love because He first loved us.


Pappa is Good and understands us to need His shelter - His guidance. Pappa wants to be the One

Hear Oh, Israel. God is One. God has Won.

Pappa is Before us. Pappa draws us to Him, Pappa stands behind us. Pappa Lives within our Souls. In this Amazing Wonder of Love, before we have spoken, Pappa has a Very Good idea what we will speak.

Pappa has discerned our path.

Pappa saw us knit together, our inward parts, formed in secret, intricately woven, unformed substance, knitted us in our mother's womb.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful is God's work.

God formed our days. And we know this. The thoughts of Pappa are vast. More than grains of sand. Dark is Light to Pappa.

We know this right well. The knowledge of our beginnings and His thoughts are almost too high for us. Yet even if this knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it, and yet we grasp this Love.











Jesus said when you see Him - you see Pappa. 

Numbers 6
The LORD bless you, and keep you; The LORD make His face shine on you, And be gracious to you; 

The LORD lift up His countenance on you, And give you peace.'

Pappa explained not to fall to extremes, to be welcoming to people who do not know Pappa. Our Center is God's Love.

Joshua 1
I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you. 
Be strong and courageous, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land that I swore to their fathers to give them. 

Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to do according to all the law that Moses my servant commanded you.

Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? 

Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”



Pappa, We will give our cares Up to You because Your Promises will hold us. In Christ Jesus our Lord, we boldly access with confidence, our faith in You. We will not lose heart over suffering, we will look for Your Glory. In Joy.

For this reason, I bow to You, Pappa. Father, every family in heaven and on earth is named through You. According to the riches of Your Glory, grant us to be strengthened with power in Your Holy Spirit in our inner being. We want to be an oasis that Christ may dwell in our hearts. Our faith rooted and grounded in Your love as our center core. That you would strengthen us to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth - to Know the Love of Christ. Surpassing knowledge. Fulfilling us in the fullness of God, Yourself.

Pappa you are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think.

According to the power at work within us, to God be glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus throughout ALL generations, Forever and Ever.

We will sing a New Song. Our Hallelujah Chorus in Jesus Christ the Lord. Amen

I will sing a new song to you, O God;
upon a ten-stringed harp I will play to you,
10 who gives victory to kings,
who rescues David his servant from the cruel sword.
11 Rescue me and deliver me
from the hand of foreigners,
whose mouths speak lies
and whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.

12 May our sons in their youth
be like plants full grown,
our daughters like corner pillars
cut for the structure of a palace;
13 may our granaries be full,
providing all kinds of produce;
may our sheep bring forth thousands
and ten thousands in our fields;
14 may our cattle be heavy with young,

Septuagint!

The full title in Ancient Greek: Ἡ μετάφρασις τῶν Ἑβδομήκοντα, lit. 'The Translation of the Seventy', derives from the record Aristeas Letter the Septuagint was translated at the request of Ptolemy II Philadelphus (285–247 BC) by 70 Jewish scholars or, according to later tradition, 72, (exactly the number of Disciples Jesus sent out) with six scholars from each of the Twelve Tribes of Israel, who

produced identical translations.

Punctuation!
 Remember "Where's the Beef?"

The Septuagint was possible because God's Word has been told to the ones seeking God as, "Breathed out in one continuous word or sentence." In fact, for generations and millenniums people argued God's Word is One Word. Causing us to remember St. Patrick drove the snakes from Ireland is actually talking about Druids who killed people horrendously and slowly for fear and power. In cages dropped into the swamp. God's Word is One Word correctly said explains in how many levels? Hear O Israel, The Lord Thy God is One. There is one Father, one Son and one Holy Spirit. The Father is God the Almighty from Alpha to Omega, all things are created from the Father for His Purpose. The Son gives the Father's Plan grace upon grace. We have beheld His Glory. The Holy Spirit lives and moves and dwells in mankind as the Light of the world. The Trinity works in unison to produce God's Good Will.

God's Word is One. His Word is Law and so exact the Universe is upheld by His Word. The Word of God is one continuous Word without stops or punctuation. Because God's Greatness is Unsearchable.

God's Word is So Unsearchable, His Plan so incredibly detailed and precise the Universe is upheld and His Plan is explained without a pause.

God's Word is One. Papyrus 46 owned by the University of Michigan is 300 intact portions of the Bible. From 90 A.D. to 120 A.D. During the Beloved Disciple John's Lifetime. How will the date of authorship be determined. Great question. By verb usage. There is not a lot of punctuation in God's One Word. 'Where's the Beef' is about the 'groovy' extent of date determination. Grammercy. Thankyou, Thankyou verymuch.

God's Word is One. When God died on the Cross, God was there. When Jesus and the people of the Resurrection went into Jerusalem. God is there. Emmanuel.




Matthew 27

52 The tombs broke open, and the bodies of many saints who had fallen asleep were raised. 53 After Jesus’ resurrection, when they had come out of the tombs, they entered the holy city and appeared to many people. 54 When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified and said, 
“Truly this was the Son of God.”

Clearly - Jesus was much more than we tend to believe in our small boxes marked Jesus and produced by Tupperware - we all tend to use. Three Roman Empire Historians record Pontius Pilate sent Emperor Claudius an incredibly detailed account of Good Friday. This is not the Easter Bunny. Nor happy, pappy Tannenbaum. We are addressing the purpose of Life and the Creation of the Universe. Some people call this The Multiple Big Bang Theory. We address this as Shepherd of our Souls, Jesus the Christ of God. Constancy and faithfulness to generations to welcome us to Live Eternally in His Kingdom. Love, Grace and Mercy.

When we say the Universe exists... why wouldn't the God of All plan for His Kingdom in Eternity?

2 In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. 2 This was the first registration when Quirinius was governor of Syria. 3 And all went to be registered, each to his own town. 4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the town of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, 5 to be registered with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. 6 And while they were there, the time came for her to give birth. 7 And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.

8 And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. 10 And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,

14 “Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”

15 When the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let us go over to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.” 16 And they went with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in a manger. 17 And when they saw it, they made known the saying that had been told them concerning this child. 18 And all who heard it wondered at what the shepherds told them. 19 But Mary treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart. 20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them.

21 And at the end of eight days, when he was circumcised, he was called Jesus, the name given by the angel before he was conceived in the womb.

22 And when the time came for their purification according to the Law of Moses, they brought him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord 23 (as it is written in the Law of the Lord, “Every male who first opens the womb shall be called holy to the Lord”) 24 and to offer a sacrifice according to what is said in the Law of the Lord, “a pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons.” 25 Now there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon, and this man was righteous and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. 26 And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord's Christ. 27 And he came in the Spirit into the temple, and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him according to the custom of the Law, 28 he took him up in his arms and blessed God and said,

29 “Lord, now you are letting your servant depart in peace,
according to your word;
30 for my eyes have seen your salvation
31 that you have prepared in the presence of all peoples,
32 a light for revelation to the Gentiles,
and for glory to your people Israel.”

33 And his father and his mother marveled at what was said about him. 34 And Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother, “Behold, this child is appointed for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign that is opposed 35 (and a sword will pierce through your own soul also), so that thoughts from many hearts may be revealed.”

36 And there was a prophetess, Anna, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was advanced in years, having lived with her husband seven years from when she was a virgin, 37 and then as a widow until she was eighty-four. She did not depart from the temple, worshiping with fasting and prayer night and day. 38 And coming up at that very hour she began to give thanks to God and to speak of him to all who were waiting for the redemption of Jerusalem.

39 And when they had performed everything according to the Law of the Lord, they returned into Galilee, to their own town of Nazareth. 40 And the child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom. And the favor of God was upon him.

41 Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the Feast of the Passover. 42 And when he was twelve years old, they went up according to custom. 43 And when the feast was ended, as they were returning, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem. His parents did not know it, 44 but supposing him to be in the group they went a day's journey, but then they began to search for him among their relatives and acquaintances, 45 and when they did not find him, they returned to Jerusalem, searching for him. 46 After three days they found him in the temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. 47 And all who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers. 48 And when his parents saw him, they were astonished. And his mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us so? Behold, your father and I have been searching for you in great distress.” 49 And he said to them, “Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father's house?” 50 And they did not understand the saying that he spoke to them. 51 And he went down with them and came to Nazareth and was submissive to them. And his mother treasured up all these things in her heart.

52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.

And. And. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. God's Word is one Continuous Word. God's Word is One. Why we see "And" in the Gospels so much. We cannot possibly fulfill God's Word. John tells us so much was happening in the Life of Jesus, no human being could record all of His Grace upon Grace life on earth. Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of every dot and iota of God's One Word.

There is One Who is Good. Jesus Christ, One with the Father.

Father, as a Child of God, I invite You to Live in me. To dwell. To carry me in Your Plan and Purpose. I believe Your Good is for me, in Jesus Christ. I rejoice Jesus is My Salvation and removes my transgressions as far as East from West. Forever You will remember my sins no more. Blessed is the One who is held Righteous as the Free Gift of Jesus Christ. The Name of Jesus covers me and when You see me You see Jesus and will remember Your Word nothing can take me from You.

Blessed is the Child of God who believes in You in Jesus Christ. Amen.
