Matthew 9:18-26 ~ Behold

We read in the Gospels, Jesus began His Day with quiet prayer with His Father.

Jesus has told us, Jesus and the Father are One.

Jesus very, very probably had an Idea about the Day His Father had Planned for Jesus and
His Ministry

Matthew 9:18-26

All Judean Rabbis, even small town Rabbis, have a time to serve
in the Jerusalem Temple in the rotation.

Capernaum's Synagogue has a relief to show us what small town Synagogues might look like:

Magdala, a smaller Synagogue:

Beautiful Stone work, columns of the late first Century
listing "Sons of Thunder, James and John" (on Capernaum's)

Showing Bronze Synagogue Tools

The Interior would look like this:

Floors of the Synagogue would not be elaborate until about the 11th Century AD.

Jairus isn't in the Gospels because of his fame. Jairus is in the Gospels for his humility, placing asking Jesus before status or agenda. Wanting a Word of God for his child. Jesus was in Capernaum the day Jairus came to Him. Perhaps Jairus was from Capernaum, or perhaps another smaller town.

Of all the People Jesus met, we know Bartimaeus. And Jairus.

While He was saying these things to them, behold, a ruler (Jairus, of the Synagogue)
came in and knelt before him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live.”

19 And Jesus rose and followed him, with his disciples.

20 And behold, a woman who had suffered from a discharge of blood for twelve years came up behind him and touched the fringe of his garment,

21 for she said to herself, “If I only touch his garment, I will be made well.”

Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, “Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And instantly the woman was made well.

23 And when Jesus came to the ruler's house and saw the flute players and the crowd making a commotion, 24 he said, “Go away, for the girl is not dead but sleeping.”

And they laughed at him. 25 But when the crowd had been put outside,

He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose.

26 And the report of this went through all that district.

Rembrandt is so compelling to see. His Portraits
place us in the middle of Jesus.

Where do you see yourself in this day of Jesus, Healing Jairus Daughter?

The following verses are written about Abraham,
Jesus was here before Abraham.

Every knee will bow
to Jesus Christ.

Romans 4:20-25
No unbelief made Him waver concerning the promise of God, but He grew strong in His faith as He gave glory to God, 21 fully convinced that God was able to do what He had promised.

22 That is why His faith was “counted to Him as righteousness.”

23 But the words “it was counted to him” were not written for his sake alone, 24 but for ours also. It will be counted to us who believe in him who raised from the dead Jesus our Lord, 25 who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification.

Jesus was having a day. His 5th recent miracle. And God framed this beautiful day like this:

Matthew 9

15 And Jesus said to them, “Can the wedding guests mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? The days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast. 16 No one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch tears away from the garment, and a worse tear is made. 17 Neither is new wine put into old wineskins. If it is, the skins burst and the wine is spilled and the skins are destroyed. But new wine is put into fresh wineskins, and so both are preserved.”

Colossians 1:15
The Son is the image of the invisible God,
the firstborn over all creation.

It would be an unshrunken wine skin to put aside so many differences for most people. Jesus does not allow His Children to divide. Jesus sees His Children need Him. Jesus acts with Love, mercy and kindness.  Life.

Abba, Father God,

1 John 5:14
This is the confidence we have in approaching God:
if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

Isaiah 1:18
"Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool."

 Isaiah 51:1
Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness and who seek the LORD:
Look to the rock from which you were cut
and to the quarry from which you were hewn

Abba, we ask You unite us in Jesus Christ.
During Pandemic, foundations are felt to be swaying.

We will hold fast to Your Robe. Your fringe.

Help us to help one another stand firm
Hope in Jesus.

Father, You know in our prayer life, we have been praying for the person who said I've been rough and unhappy and treated people poorly. And daily to compensate, I tell myself what a terrible person I have become. And in this unhappiness, more unhappiness happens. Now this person feels self-forgiveness is possible, needed and worthy. Help us all to have new paths of Hope and a Future.

Dwell in us, Father,
Give us love and compassion for those we know are struggling.
Please bring more Heaven to earth.
For those we Love, for ourselves.

When we are unable to fix the world with Pandemic panic brains,
we ask You in the Highest Name of Jesus,
to fix what is broken,
to bring a path in You: A Way, Truth and Life.

We cannot fix the Pandemic
and the people ill with all manner of things.
We ask Jesus.

When even a Carolina Wren suffers and dies,
we pray for the bird to pass to joy in Heaven God sent Elijah horses from.
Jesus would ask us to pray for the people we see and think of.

We ask Your Healing Blessing on Elliott.
They Hope in You, Jesus.
We pray for Elliott and Harby to grow old together.

In the Highest Name of Jesus,
we place our Hope in You.
Amen.

Mark 7 ~ He arose

Jesus is Healing with Living Water, Jesus.

Mark 7

Now when the Pharisees gathered to him, with some of the scribes who had come from Jerusalem, 2 they saw that some of his disciples ate with hands that were defiled, that is, unwashed. 3 (For the Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they wash their hands properly, holding to the tradition of the elders, 4 and when they come from the marketplace, they do not eat unless they wash. And there are many other traditions that they observe, such as the washing of cups and pots and copper vessels and dining couches.)

5 And the Pharisees and the scribes asked him, “Why do your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat with defiled hands?”

6 And he said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written,
“‘This people honors me with their lips,
    but their heart is far from me;
7 in vain do they worship me,
teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’

8 You leave the commandment of God and hold to the tradition of men.”

9 And he said to them, “You have a fine way of rejecting the commandment of God in order to establish your tradition! 10 For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, ‘Whoever reviles father or mother must surely die.’ 11 But you say, ‘If a man tells his father or his mother, “Whatever you would have gained from me is Corban”’ (that is, given to God)— 12 then you no longer permit him to do anything for his father or mother, 13 thus making void the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And many such things you do.”

14 And he called the people to him again and said to them, “Hear me, all of you, and understand: 15 There is nothing outside a person that by going into him can defile him, but the things that come out of a person are what defile him.”

17 And when he had entered the house and left the people, his disciples asked him about the parable. 18 And he said to them, “Then are you also without understanding? Do you not see that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile him, 19 since it enters not his heart but his stomach, and is expelled?” (Thus he declared all foods clean.) 20 And he said, “What comes out of a person is what defiles him. 21 For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, 22 coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. 23 All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.”

Sidon

24 And from there he arose and went away to the region of Tyre and Sidon.

And he entered a house and did not want anyone to know, yet he could not be hidden. 25 But immediately a woman whose little daughter had an unclean spirit heard of him and came and fell down at his feet. 26 Now the woman was a Gentile, a Syrophoenician by birth. And she begged him to cast the demon out of her daughter.

27 And he said to her, “Let the children be fed first, for it is not right to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs.”

28 But she answered him, “Yes, Lord; yet even the dogs under the table eat the children's crumbs.”

29 And he said to her, “For this statement you may go your way; the demon has left your daughter.” 30 And she went home and found the child lying in bed and the demon gone.

31 Then he returned from the region of Tyre and went through Sidon to the Sea of Galilee, in the region of the Decapolis.

32 And they brought to him a man who was deaf and had a speech impediment, and they begged him to lay his hand on him.

33 And taking him aside from the crowd privately, he put his fingers into his ears, and after spitting touched his tongue. 34 And looking up to heaven, he sighed and said to him, “Ephphatha,” that is, “Be opened.” 35 And his ears were opened, his tongue was released, and he spoke plainly. 36 And Jesus charged them to tell no one. But the more he charged them, the more zealously they proclaimed it.

37 And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.”

Mark 7 ends with the people are in astonishment Jesus does all things well. This is similar to Mark 12 telling us Jesus spoke in parables and then Mark 12 gives one parable the whole Chapter.

Jesus is one on one. Knowing each of us and having time for us individually, Jesus privately heals the deaf man and everyone is in astonishment.

See how much Jesus is observed:
Jesus is watched how he eats, by people arriving from Jerusalem. Jesus tosses back their judgments. And in privacy, Jesus teaches privately to the Disciples in a house. Then Jesus leaves Judea and travels to Tyre and Sidon, where He heals a child far away. Doubtful this same crowd went with Him. In fact, this says only Jesus went.  And to increase the Chapter's knowledge of Jesus is always observed: the deaf man is healed completely privately.

Scripture tells us Scripture is true and valid. Scripture explains Scriptures.

John 21:24
This is the disciple who is bearing witness about these things,
and who has written these things, and we know that his testimony is true.
25 Now there are also many other things that Jesus did.
Were every one of them to be written,
I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.

 John 20:30
Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of His disciples,
which are not written in this book.

Job 26:14
Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him?
But the thunder of his power who can understand?

 Psalm 40:5
Many, LORD my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us.
None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds,
they would be too many to declare.

 Psalm 71:15
My mouth will declare Your righteousness and Your salvation all day long,
though I cannot know their full measure.

The Gospel of Mark, the questions the people of Rome were asking as they left their comforts to find Peter and Mark in the slums and in the catacombs, the hearts and souls of tentative, new-found believers, were understanding Jesus was astonishing, amazing and personal. Jesus was taking His time with all calling on Jesus.

Jesus was saying He understood the world mocks people. Christ Jesus Messiah, knows how to address, with authority, brash, negative, pull down people. The Ministry of Jesus tells us far more was going on than we will ever know and Jesus was handling all of this with amazing competence. Romans were living in a world of stress. Jesus' love and understanding of the world as it is - helped them. Jesus was real to them.

Romans were in a tough spot during the Ministry of Jesus and as the Acts of the Apostles were being lived. Love flowed from the Apostles. Prayer flowed from the Apostles. Hope flowed from the men who had known Jesus. The Holy Spirit was Comforting and Helping. Multitudes were being given Hope and believing Jesus is God.

People healed of fear, doubts, diseases, sadness for ill loved ones, were moving forward. Jesus was giving a Hope and a Future.

Even Sparrows could be loved, known and cared for by Jesus.

Abba, Holy Father

We begin our prayers, usually
asking You to dwell in us.
Reminding us You are our Heavenly Father, we know as we pray
are as close as can be.

We praise Your Holy Name, the Highest Name of Jesus
and ask Jesus to give us His righteousness
that the prayer will availeth much.

And we pray together.
For the Republic. For Godly Hopes, Godly Jesus Justice,
our Hope and Future.
To have Jesus touch, support, and uphold those we Love
Giving His Love and Future.  Peace and Joy.

And as we pray,
we know we have concerns in our lives and cares
we want lifted to God tenderly and with great Love
and privately as Mark 7.
Here we can Believe Jesus would handle these
Prayers with Great Love and Privacy.

I give Great Thanksgiving
for feeling better on Sunday after resting all day Saturday.
And in not feeling well, realize Texas has placed
the concerns of virus transmission back to the level Red.
We pray the Vaccine travels swiftly
and for the safety we all would put in our lives
touching one another.

We pray for our Economy
and the Stock Market with new concerns.
Jesus, we ask for the Legislatures to have
calm and peaceful minds, not of the Pandemic historic hostile thoughts.
We ask Your Blessing on the Hope and Future, You would
Willingly Bless us with.

Jesus bless the system of Laws we have
to administer Jesus Justice.

Jesus help give wisdom to those in Authority
to calm, prosper, comfort and help one another.

We will recall the Pew Report Polls.
Some Statisticians say Polls are only Tacticians. Agenda.
The Body of Christ is talking about this on YouTube. The Prayers of some have halted in worry.
We want the Beloved of Jesus not to live in doubt and fear. Love and Jesus.
The Body of Jesus remembers Jesus Himself said the rich, young ruler would be saved.
Jesus Himself said His Mission is to save the world.
Jesus might say the missing ten to sixteen percent
need to believe they are missed and would be wanted to pray again.
Jesus says Prayer is a come as you are welcome to Jesus Christ.
Jesus always knows who is going to come back to Him and the Prodigal is welcome.
The Gates of Heaven are always open and so is the Heart of Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit is called Comforter and Help and Helper.

Jesus bless our Paths to be filled with Heaven.
Heaven on earth. To Be Heaven and Give Heaven.
Help us to Seek You First.

In the Highest Name of Jesus Christ,
Amen

Mark 7:31-37 ~ Jesus has done everything well

Mark 7:31-37

31 Then Jesus left the vicinity of Tyre and went through Sidon, down to the Sea of Galilee and into the region of the Decapolis. 32 There some people brought to him a man who was deaf and could hardly talk, and they begged Jesus to place his hand on him.

33 After he took him aside, away from the crowd, Jesus put his fingers into the man’s ears. Then he spit and touched the man’s tongue. 34 He looked up to heaven and with a deep sigh said to him, “Ephphatha!” (which means “Be opened!”). 35 At this, the man’s ears were opened, his tongue was loosened and he began to speak plainly.

36 Jesus commanded them not to tell anyone. But the more he did so, the more they kept talking about it. 37 People were overwhelmed with amazement. “He has done everything well,” they said.
“He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.”

Today is our 35th Wedding Anniversary. I feel like we should all sing, "Sunrise, Sunset"!  This Anniversary is easier than so many. Our children have arrived at vocations and employment. There is much to be grateful for, and I wake up each morning, of 2021, and feel grateful. Hopefully, with wonderful reason.

We spent our 3rd Anniversary at home with Lobster Tail Dinner and Champagne. Our first child, tucked into the wind-up swing attached to the Apnea monitor. He was 6 weeks premature, and Cal  was 7 weeks old. We were boiling massive water on the stove. Cal had a cold. I remember Cal sneezed and the sneeze seemed to echo. I guess it did, I remember this so well. Being distinctly tense. Cal would actually stop breathing for an entire year. We were not used to our baby, our premature baby, having to be shaken to breathe. Looking back on this, we were Blessed of God to have this happen. If he'd simply died in his sleep, would we - the young us - forgiven ourselves. Instead, the monitor became routine, to have the alarm go off in our sleep, trudge down the hallway, shake Cal, kiss him, watch everything right itself, say, "Thank God" and go back to sleep.

By the time we turned 30, we were celebrating 8 years, with two sons. And easily hired Edward's cousin to stay with the boys and had a nice Suite and Downtown Dinner. We were casual and relaxed.

Our 15th year Anniversary was spent at home, cooking for the four of us. Are you kidding, when sons are in almost High School, you stay home. I missed the trip to Vegas, the same reason. One of our Anniversaries was High Tea and food galore with Youth Group. The boys enjoyed the fuss and gave themselves permission to try High Tea with a bunch of male friends. We all laughed a Lot.

Our Honeymoon was wonderful, we went to London. Got lost in a London fog, went to the wrong restaurant and found perfection. We had High Tea at the Ritz and never lost the enthusiasm for tea and High Tea. It was our only Anniversary with snow.

To look at all the Anniversaries, is to look back and find so many things were so dour and seeing in hindsight were blessings. All things work together for good, for those who Love the Lord and work according to His Purpose.

The hills and valleys were part of a Plan. If only we knew we would see it Later.

Abba, Father God,

John 15

15 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4
Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain
in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you,
ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

9 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.

10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love,
just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.

11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.

12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.

13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command. 15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends,
for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.

16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. 17 This is my command: Love each other.

To live in Your Grace and Mercy
Knowing to put down the worries that were pointless and fruitless in the past.

In Jesus Christ, to have Your Grace and go forth. Forgiven of old worries.

To press on to Seek You First.
To daily include and invite, You, to dwell in me.
And in those I love, the people God has given me.
And be grateful.

To forgive those who have given Judgement, as I have judged.
To be wiser, to rejoice.
Rejoice in faith, hope and Love and not be tossed by my doubts
and not tossed by doubts of others.
Hold tightly to Jesus Christ daily.

To be Blessed to ask more Heaven on earth.
To find more Heaven on earth.
Be more Heaven on earth.

To pray for good health for me,
I need prayers for rapid heartbeat for the first time since 2005.
This is uncomfortable and signals more exercise and less caffeine.
As we pray for all of us in Covid, with our concerns
and the worries of others. So many people have allergies, colds,
coughs and sneezing without Covid.
Believing, this is sympathy of the world for
one another.

The Lord Jesus remember Elliott's miracle.
The hopes we put in knowing of Miracles of Yours
and Prayer moving Your hand.

We pray for those who are ill
and asked for prayer. Covering them
in the Willingness of Jesus.

Keep us in Jesus,
This Republic, the people of the Republic.
The world needing kindness and a hope
of peace from this hugely stressful season.
We pray for the United States Congress to calm down.
And those having stress being involved there. We need you. It will turn out well,
we have read the Last Page of the Bible and this ends well.
238 Accomplishments requires Mercy.
Our Governors and Legislatures for help and wisdom.
Giving Thanks to those keeping Mercy and Justice.
Let's agree in prayer, Pandemic
causes willy-nilly barbarism brain thoughts that end.
And we pray Jesus for go faster, please.
He understands.
We arrive in prayer just as we really are.

Keeping the joyful thought of Eighty percent of
people pray. And not worrying too much about this poll
or that poll. God forgives the sin of our youth, and
knowing the Church has always welcomed
those of years in the pews for a long time.
God doesn't worry too much about the people who Pray.
His Love is flowing, now, for us
and the people who will come to a prayer and faith life.
His Mercy Renews Daily.

Thank God,
Thank God,
Thank Jesus.
Amen with prayer in Jesus
and Your Righteousness.
Please Availeth this one much.
Amen.

Lord Father, Thank You for
hearing our Prayers
in  Jesus. Amen.

About Me

Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
