Hebrews 4:12 ~ Heart

Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is living and active,
sharper than any two-edged sword,
piercing to the division of soul and of spirit,
of joints and of marrow,
and discerning the thoughts
and intentions of the heart.

Sometimes the Word of God leaps ahead of you, and everything God speaks ties together. Superseding all your striving and you must be still and know God.

Isaiah 35:6
Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy.
Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert.

When we read Scripture, say The Book of Revelation Chapters 1 and 2, briefly considering all 7 Churches God speaks of. You will see verse 91 and I will see verse 131. Yet, this is the Word of God and feeds us where we are. This is why the Gospel accounts are not merely repeats and instead explain man's brief time on earth considering Father God and His Gift of Life.

John meets Jesus 60 years later, leaving on a Sunday afternoon as the walls melt and John is face to face with Jesus. Jesus is the Comfort of God to us. Comforter. Helper. Jesus helps us all uniquely as He healed on earth. John's astonishment is met with Jesus moving on to the Mission of saving the world in Jesus Christ. Was this comforting to John? Probably. Jesus is tailoring the Most High God's Universal Plan of Salvation to John's understanding of the Eternal and Jesus. Would we necessarily be comforted? No. But John has Help and Comfort. Why would we think so? God the Almighty's Plan would be far larger than anything we know. Yet, God upholds the Universe with His Word. Our God knows the Heavenly Host by Name. He is fully sufficient to Uphold the Universe, Fulfill His Word, All His Promises and comfort us individually.

Jesus moves on to John acting as Jesus' Helper. And they begin to explain what to say to the 7 fragmented Churches.

Jesus is thinking of the end of days. Jesus is speaking with John who understands which of the 7 earthly Churches have challenges, opportunities and areas of growth. John is in awe and in Hope and with the Future. Today.

Jesus is not only doing the impossibility of the Red Sea parting, the 600,000 Children of the Exodus Fed, the 5000 fed and the Millenniums knowing of this Grace, Jesus is speaking to us Today.

The Seven Churches are the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. You might be Sardis today or Ephesus next week.  You are the Temple of God. And you might not be getting along with your cousin, your mom or dad, sibling or spouse, but they are and you are Temples of God when Jesus dwells in you. Ask Jesus to dwell in you.

John explains and proclaims God. God is Love. God isn't feeling loving today. God isn't favoring you more today. Our God is Love. My God is always Love. Our  God's Love is more than we understand. God's Love Upholds the Universe and offers you, as a Child of God, doing God's Love and Joy, Eternity. God's Love reaches to one person and covers all His Plan.

Jesus tells us about the 7 Churches.

John 17:13-23

Now I am coming to you, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

14 I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15 I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. 18 As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.

20 “I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, 21 that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, 23 I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.

Jesus is telling us of differences and separation. And Jesus Overcomes. Jesus seeks for us to Live in His New Commandment - To Love One Another. Jesus makes us understand we do our best and the forces of good and evil in life will be the Prodigal Son's story. Jesus prays for us to enjoy ourselves and find Joy in God's Strength.

Solomon, briefly, had God. And Solomon put all his eggs in his own wisdom and pleasure. Solomon went up to try to get God to accept Solomon's terms and Solomon found bitterness and unhappiness while demanding God give Solomon what Solomon wanted.

Jesus makes this clear.  Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Providing all things to be made new in Jesus. To live with Hope and a Future. To Pray with Hope. Jesus just asks we act in Love. Let Love be Sincere. Let Love be our greatest debt to one another. Jesus asks us to Love ourselves and God and let this Love spill over to such depth, we feel this love from each other.

Jesus, John reported, had so much going on in His Life, we couldn't possibly record Jesus each day.  Jesus has Joy. Our Jesus asks us to Live for God to be our Hope and Future.

Abba, Father God,

Like the Book of Hebrews, the 11th Chapter, the quotes about faith with Gladness, Happiness, go on and on. More than we can know or imagine.

Help us to Seek You first.

May the Word of God living in us,
 Strengthen us in
all Goodness.

In the Name of Jesus for ourselves,
and those we love. Amen.

So the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness
and praise spring up before all nations.

Jesus bless Elliott with Your Willing Healing!
Please

Father God help us to fill those we love with renewed hope for years ahead
 filled with love.
We ask in the Highest name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Let the Amen be of His Will being the Exact Nature of
Jesus Christ.
Blessings for the Goodness of Your Will and Plan. Amen!

Luke 18:1 ~ And He told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart

Luke 18:1

And He told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray
and not lose heart.

Edward and I went out and had dinner. Just about everyone had removed their mask. And really this was a time in coming. How wonderfully good to breathe and look at all the people again!

Like the world news, here in Houston's 4th largest city, a Church friend from a decade past, went on a car trip to visit her grandchild, she returned home by car 10 hours and 700 miles later to die of Covid at age 80. Last Friday, 15 days ago.

The news we all have, personally, and in the media we call news, is hopeful and tempered with Pandemic brains. Facts can find danger or change. Swinging news. Tempered news. Opinion news. Jesus Christ calls Himself: the Way, the Truth and the Life.

We do this for ourselves every day. We have 'the comment' or we feel blue, then we look to support our emotion. Feeling elated and hopeful, we look for support to continue to feel encouraged. The weather is even a source for our changes and the variation from normal in the soaked South USA. Where I might add, drought was the long range forecast, usually accurate.

We are in a transitional period. People discuss a new normal. Change is normal, but worries looking at the weather are not the usual. We have been through a stay at home Pandemic. I was observing a swim party on my street and another gathering too. Not what we have seen for the last set of two years.  And as the swim party was ending, the party goers looked more stressed than relaxed. More somber. The party face had been removed.

Historically, Pandemics take about 3 years before we find human beings being more rational.
We know this intellectually. The comments and the somber faces are a reflection of our own thoughts. The future events show promise and then the dire warnings. You can't be in a fairly severe car accident without being more cautious.

The Gospels have similar Chapters, and yet there are dissimilarities. Because if you've been in trauma, the people remember bits and pieces of dramatic events. This is well known to people who gather facts after a dramatic set of emotional circumstances. Like police or investigators.

The Disciple John was asked in the Second Century if he approved of the other Gospels. John said he absolutely did. Remember John's 21st Chapter says if all the events surrounding Jesus were published, the world couldn't hold the books. And yet, the Gospels have different versions of similar days. It's all factual, but in gathering the Upper Room for the New Covenant, some were sent ahead. The Disciples went in different physical directions. And even at the Last Supper, no one except God saw all the Disciples having conversations.

The news is emotional. We don't hope for emotional news, but the times would say we all have emotions. And as the Sam's store clerk told me, from the Holy Spirit, the day I won't forget, "Remember, every day, God is giving you what you require, it's up to us to see His Blessings." My son elbowed me, and said, "See."

The Light of the world is Jesus.
Nothing in darkness is dark to Him.
Jesus brings us Light.

Abba, Father God,

There was a man asking his friend, at midnight, for help for the traveling friend. Journey.
And his friend declined for the late hour. Impudently, the two friends had Discussion at the midnight hour. The friends, in relationship, had the steadfast Love to hammer out the needed events.

Jesus tells us He knows we think You are sometimes a Judge who doesn't move mountains. And then we feel You are not the Judge we hope You'd be. Jesus says He acknowledges this in our relationship with You. Jesus says always Pray and have Hope. Pray about everything.

The Gates of Heaven are always open. The Keys Peter was given, that, has to give us pause to realize You help us in the Life You have given us. Numbers 6 has the Blessing Moses was told to give God's Children. God Lifts His Countenance Upon us. Graciously. God Smiles. God's face shines upon us. You, God, according to Proverbs 8, Delights in us. The New Testament calls us Beloved of God.

Father,
Please dwell in us.
Help us to seek You First.

Fill the Ones we Love with Jesus Christ.
Light of the world.
Light of mankind.

See us Pray for Israel.
Pray for our Nation,
Our Blessings and our Concerns.
Help us know, again, Your Heart for us.
Knowing Your Steadfast Love.

And with Your Love
we will do as You say, Overcome.

Blessed be the Name Jesus
and Blessed be the Father, Our Father,
Giving us Jesus, Your Exact Nature.

We won't forget to lift up Elliott and his healing to Your
Love and Word. Thank You, Elliott is doing better. Mend him totally, please.

In Jesus Christ,
Alleluia, Mercy is Given
Amen and Amen!

Genesis 21:1 ~ Now the Lord is gracious

Isaiah 46:4 Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.
By faith Sarah herself received power to conceive, even when she was past the age, since she considered him faithful who had promised.

Genesis 21:1

Now the LORD was gracious to Sarah
as He had said,
and the LORD did for Sarah
what He had promised.

Genesis 21:12b
Listen to whatever Sarah tells you, because it is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.

Sarah was far from perfect. She had begun the idea of Ishmael, distressed Hagar to the point of death, when Hagar found God spoke to her. Cast out the firstborn child of Abraham. Laughed with faithlessness at God. Sarah spied on Abraham's conversations.

Genesis 18:10
Then the LORD said, "I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son." Now Sarah was listening at the entrance to the tent, which was behind him.

Genesis 18:12
So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, "After I am worn out and my lord is old, will I now have this pleasure?

Genesis 18;14
"Is anything too hard for the LORD? I will return to you at the appointed time next year and Sarah will have a son."

Sarah chose what was more convenient for her comfort.

Genesis 18:15
Sarah was afraid, so she lied and said, "I did not laugh." But he said, "Yes, you did laugh."

Sarah knew something of Joy:

Genesis 21:6
Sarah said, "God has brought me laughter, and everyone who hears about this
will laugh with me."

Genesis 21:7
And she added, "Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children?
Yet I have borne him a son in his old age."

1 Peter 3:6
Sarah: You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear.

Sarah was loving.

Genesis 23:2
She died at Kiriath Arba (that is, Hebron) in the land of Canaan, and Abraham went to mourn for Sarah and to weep over her.

Genesis 24:67
Isaac brought Rebekah into the tent of his mother Sarah, and he married Rebekah. So she became his wife, and he loved her; and Isaac was comforted after his mother's death.

Hebrews 11:11
By faith Sarah herself received power to conceive, even when she was past the age, since she considered him faithful who had promised.

 Isaiah 46:4
Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he,
I am he who will sustain you.
 I have made you and I will carry you;
I will sustain you and I will rescue you.

Abba, Father God,

Now,
May the God of Peace Himself
sanctify you completely,
and may your whole spirit and soul and body
be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
He who calls you is faithful
 He will surely do it!

We ask in the Highest Name of Jesus,
we seek and find God first.

And in Jesus, to bless, seal and protect
those we Love and for our Churches, Communities
and Employments to have this Jesus Blessing.

We give You our cares,
Your Steadfast Love assures us
You care for us.

Corrie Ten Baum witnessed to Your Steadfast Love
and need for Prayer.
Corrie Ten Baum saw the need for hope of such magnitude even the fleas
could be relied upon for Your Good Purpose.

The Exodus also declares the Impossibility You display.
The King James Version of the Bible calls the
Impossibility and Improbability of God, "Vouchsafe"

Acts 7:17
As the time drew near for God to fulfill his promise to Abraham,
the number of our people in Egypt had greatly increased.

Jesus, being Your Son, went in a more unbelievable direction
603,550 in Numbers 1:46
The Exodus people God was to feed and water in the absolute desert,
far exceeded the feeding of 5,000.
Jesus said such impossible goals of God Himself
He went from 72 Disciples to 70 Disciples and then
explained to 12 Disciples they would form His Church.

Peter was to discover the Wind of the Holy Spirit.
This is where we want to be. The Word of God.
God give us Your Direction
and the Holy Spirit for those we Love.
Moving us and inspiring us
our employments, our hopes,
our Churches, our cities.
And this Nation.
Let us be Blessed of Jesus.

Father, please give us Health in all aspects.
For Elliott Healing. And their family.
For those very ill. And for those who know loved ones now in Heaven.
For all the Children of God who have suffered and call out
to You, Father, in the Highest Name of Jesus Christ.
We offer to You great Thanks for
Your Willing Blessings and Answers!

Our God is working. His Son,
Jesus is working.
And we say Amen in Jesus.

His Steadfast Love continues to the generations!

Colossians 1:9-14 ~ in Whom we have Redemption, forgiveness

Colossians 1:9-14

And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you,
asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

11 May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, 12 giving thanks [patience, with joy giving thanks] to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.

13 He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

One of the very striking things about the New Testament is the fervor the people prayed for other people they met in their travels. Of course, Jesus tells us that He is working and His Father is working today.

The Holy Spirit bares witness that the sighs of our spirit are the unceasing prayer of our advocate, God's Son.

Jesus tells us to pray impudently to Our Friend.  Pray with Hope. Imagine what we do when we pray for the News we read. The people we pray for. I remember in High School we prayed for my Great Aunt Clarice to have freedom from hip arthritis. Clarice told me she had no pain and somehow knew it was from my youth group. And was. Jesus is not just laying down happy dog paths to say, "Pray with Hope!"

Abba, Father God,

Dwell in us and help us to seek You first.

We pray the most for people who need Your Mercy and Help.
We pray for Elliott and his healing with Your Mercy and Word.

Asking Your Joy and Love for the people, places, animals, pets
and traffic with so many factors in our Covid Recovery.
Lord Jesus have Your Joy Here.

We pray for Israel under attack.
We ask Blessings for our Nation.
Peace in the world historically unseen as Pandemics heal.
Families to have Love, Joy and Peace.
We pray the Blessings of health and Joy.

For the work of our hands to be blessed to be
sustained, blessings impact and fruitful.

We pray for the needs around us and want to see more Heaven on earth.

Help us to reclaim our Joy. And for those we Love.

Jesus, we ask for Good Health during the Covid epidemics
in other areas to have Your Mercy.

And in the Astonishing Hope You've asked us to Live,
in Jesus Christ, Our Redemption.

Thank You, Abba, You always listen and act
on our Prayers. In the Highest Name of Jesus. Amen.

About Me

My photo
Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
