Psalm 105:23-47 ~ with Joy

Ebal, Blessings

Psalm 105:23-47

23 Then Israel came to Egypt;
Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.

24 And the Lord made his people very fruitful
and made them stronger than their foes.
25 He turned their hearts to hate his people,
to deal craftily with his servants.

26 He sent Moses, his servant,
and Aaron, whom he had chosen.
27 They performed his signs among them
and miracles in the land of Ham.
28 He sent darkness, and made the land dark;
they did not rebel against his words.
29 He turned their waters into blood
and caused their fish to die.
30 Their land swarmed with frogs,
even in the chambers of their kings.
31 He spoke, and there came swarms of flies,
    and gnats throughout their country.
32 He gave them hail for rain,
and fiery lightning bolts through their land.
33 He struck down their vines and fig trees,
and shattered the trees of their country.
34 He spoke, and the locusts came,
    young locusts without number,
35 which devoured all the vegetation in their land
and ate up the fruit of their ground.
36 He struck down all the firstborn in their land,
the firstfruits of all their strength.

37 Then he brought out Israel with silver and gold,
and there was none among his tribes who stumbled.
38 Egypt was glad when they departed,
for dread of them had fallen upon it.

39 He spread a cloud for a covering,
and fire to give light by night.

40 They asked, and he brought quail,
and gave them bread from heaven in abundance.
41 He opened the rock, and water gushed out;
it flowed through the desert like a river.
42 For he remembered his holy promise,
    and Abraham, his servant.

43 So he brought his people out with joy,
    his chosen ones with singing.
44 And he gave them the lands of the nations,
and they took possession of the fruit of the peoples' toil,
45 that they might keep his statutes
    and observe his laws.
Praise the Lord!

The Lord loves us to look at His Word. To wonder. To ask. Think on what is pure and good and holy. Seeking the Lord in all His Good Creation.  Psalm 105 isn't known to be one of the 75 Psalms David wrote.  Psalm 105 is parallel to 1 Chronicles 16, and in the 10th Chapter David is part of the Word of God. Ipuwer Papyrus also tells us of the Egyptian eyewitness.

>

To read Psalm 105 with the troubles life gives us, becoming the overcoming Prodigal Son, longing for the Father, we see trouble. And have to live with faith, All Things WORK together for good, for those who love the Lord and work according to His Purpose.

Being the Body of CHrist is the adventure, to apply Scripture to find Your Road to Emmaus. Love. And our warm heart Jesus makes Life within.

Feel free to draw from God's Word listed below and apply this to the beautiful Language of God.

Father God, He has an idea how He will greet you.

Isaiah 43:2-3
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.”

Psalm 119:105
“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”

Jeremiah 30:17
“I will give you back your health and heal your wounds,”
says the LORD.

1 Peter 1:24-25
For, “All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall,  but
the Word of the LORD endures forever.”

2 Kings 20:5
“This is what the Lord, the God of your ancestor David, says:
I have heard your prayer and seen your tears. I will heal you.”

2 Timothy 1:7
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.”

Jeremiah 24:6
I will set my eyes on them for good, and I will bring them back to this land.
I will build them up, and not tear them down;
I will plant them, and not pluck them up.

Philippians 1:6
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

Jeremiah 32:42
For thus says the Lord:
Just as I have brought all this great disaster upon this people,
so I will bring upon them all the good that I promise them.

Jeremiah 33:11
The voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voices of those who sing,
as they bring thank offerings to the house of the Lord:
“‘Give thanks to the Lord of hosts, for the Lord is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever!’
For I will restore the fortunes of the land as at first, says the Lord.

Luke 2:10
And the angel said to them,
“Fear not,
for behold
 I bring you good news
 of great joy
 that will be for
all
 the people.

The Word of God is alive, we see History repeat. We have just come back from the 2020 exile.

Israel is alive today. They had Exile in Egypt for 500 years and came back.

Babylonian Exile lasted only 50 Years:

Red Letters from Prison:

Jeremiah was imprisoned in the 500-year-old King David's Palace's hole in the ground called imprisonment. And in archaeology, we find Jeremiah's Servant, Baruch's seal, listed exactly as the Bible list's Baruch's genealogy - found where the Scriptures say both men conducted business.

Exile to Babylon for fifty years.

In London’s British Museum, there is a baked clay tablet (just under 3¼ inches) with cuneiform writing (wedge-shaped characters) recording important activities of king Nebuchadnezzar between the years 605-594 B.C. 91 times Nebuchadnezzar is mentioned in the Scriptures. Amazingly, this is a Scriptural calendar.

"And Jehoichin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he and his mother[!]... And the king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his [Nebuchadnezzar's] reign." 2 Kings 24:12

"In the entry which deals with the 7th year of the king (598-7 B.C.), in the month of Kislimu, the king of Nebuchadnezzar] marched his army the capital city of Judah. On the second day of the month Addaru [the capture of Jerusalem, dated precisely to March 16, 597 BC.], he captured Jerusalem and its king. He appointed a new ruler [Zedekiah— 2 Kings 24:17] and took heavy tribute and sent it to Babylon [2 Kings 24:13]. Another remarkable archaeological confirmation of biblical record in the last 60 years.

Other archaeological discoveries relating to the fall of Jerusalem. Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon are well known. His palace has been excavated in Babylon and many of his records recovered (Wiseman 1985; Klengel-Brandt 1997: 252–54). One such record, the Babylonian Chronicle for the years 605–595 BC, describes the fall of Jerusalem to Nebuchadnezzar in 597 BC, the so-called “second deportation,” the first being in 605 BC when Daniel and his companions were taken to Babylon (Dan 1:1–5). The tablet was found in Babylon and purchased by the British Museum in the 19th century.

Exodus of 1/3 of the world's population, Plague, and this ended like our Pandemic in the number of years. 5 years to golden recovery.

The Balance of God is interesting. The Years are shortened each time and best in the New Covenant Years.

The Children of Israel return after a huge lockdown. In the Egyptian Exodus, the Children of God are so excited to have the Tabernacle each Sabbath.  Then in Victory to have Synagogues and the Temple in Jerusalem. Not very many people dwell in The Temple of Israel in Jerusalem. This is made clear in the first two chapters of Luke. God sets up life in all aspects and asks the First thoughts to be in Seeking Him. The first day of the week. Our gifts. Our days and gifts and talents. To think of asking Him first when we need prayer. To build up the Body of Christ wherever we are.

So many people come to God from the radio. Fed in singing songs the Word of God tells us to do. Daily.

The Scots have a prayer about, "Today, Lord, I shall be busy. If I forget Thee, remember me."  We love because God first LOVES us. Yet we need to seek Him first.  Daily Bread.

Abba, our Abba,

At a time of favor, You will answer us. The Day of Salvation.

They shall feed along the ways;
on all bare heights shall be their pasture;
they shall not hunger or thirst,
neither scorching wind nor sun shall strike them,
for he who has pity on them will lead them,
and by springs of water will guide them.

And I will make all my mountains a road,
and my highways shall be raised up.
Behold, these shall come from afar,
and behold, these from the north and from the west

Sing for joy, O heavens, and exult, O earth;
break forth, O mountains, into singing!
For the Lord has comforted his people
and will have compassion on his afflicted.

A highway shall be there,
and it shall be called the Way of Holiness!

Then all flesh shall know
that I am the Lord your Savior,
and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.

May the God of hope fill us
with all joy and peace as we trust in our God,
that we may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Continuing to pray with Hope for rain.
And for Yellowstone and Arizona and New Mexico.

We will cast our cares upon Abba, and He will care as His Beloved for us.
For our cares, He tells us to ask
for more Heaven on earth!

That Love carries our Loved ones, and our very cares. Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. God is love. His Glory will be in favor of our communities and Churches and Nation.

For all of the prayers of His Chosen Beloved that this earth will see more Heaven.

In Jesus we Pray, Amen.

Let's all be Disciples!

Gallup Poll says Christians participating in Church believe they have ALL the prayers answered. The Doors of the Church are Open.  Put your right toe in and shake it all about.
That's what it's all about.

Ephesians 4: 10-12

10 He who descended is the very One who Ascended above all the Heavens, in order to fill all things. 11And it was He who gave some to be apostles (disciples), some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers,
12 to equip the saints for works of ministry
and
to
build up the body of Christ

There is just one itsybitsy, little thing about being Disciples. Jesus knew His People!

 Matthew 10:2-4 2
These are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon (who is called Peter) and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John; 3 Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;
4 Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.

So ya got: 2 Rich boys living with da Mamma. More brothers from sons of Thunder. Probably some abuse there. Philip - you most likely heard, stepped up to do some ministry work to a rich person in a chariot, and wasn't heard from again.  Bartholomew left his Bible to be found in India - years and years and years and years Later. James. Well, they call him the Lesser.  Lesser known the better, right. Thaddaeus - nice man, really. Simon is always going on about politics and activism. Tone it down, man. And Judas, in promotion and PR, has connections with the influential and worries about the poor. He hangs in there, really spills his guts.

Jesus knows His People. He does. We know Jesus knows.

Mark 2:17

On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."

Jesus, pal, wasn't talking about the toe in crowd. Jesus was talking about Peter to Simon and on down. All of us.  Pal, He speaks of us.

So, you might try Church! Gallup Poll just roughly announced Church Goers have more Miracles and Prayers Answered. Is this for real? Yes, my friend, this IS for real.

Matthew 18:20-22
For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.

God is Love.

The French almost always end their Facebook comments with things like, "Bon Journee" and "Joyeux mardi".  Americans tend to ask themselves, "What's the Catch?" And you'd wonder, wouldn't you? Sure.

The Church has been losing people for two decades. Bible Studies tend to dwindle and end. Why? They don't have you. Wot.  The Church has been losing people for a reason, not recently discussed. In the past, people went to Church to worship, yet a lot of this was to make friends, receive comfort and participate. This is the Pandemic recovery culture.  We all need to Shine the Light of Jesus Christ. And pull on the Blessing of Jabez.  Jabez places in 1 Chronicles 4. The Chapter after 3, discussing the Sons of David.  Flawed and putting the Blessing of not having pain. Moving past pain. 'Jabez' means being born in pain. (Wow, Mom?)

The people who didn't like Church didn't seek the Catch.
The Catch is, God wants you to work the Garden of Eden. His Garden of Eden with you. Not necessarily to be anointed with the blessing of easy friends made during Pandemic culture. Sure, you are going to see more prayers answered. The Catch is - God wants you to be the one who has an amazingly rich life.

Gathering together in the Name of God. God is... Love. Gather in your love for the Lord. Gather in His Love. Be His Love. You are the Church. You you you are the Church. You gather in the building to ... build up... the Body of Christ.

You gather to be ~ the Helper. To be the Comforter. To be Comfort.  You are a Child of God.

The real Catch, the win, the depth and glory of Church is the Love God has for you. A great crowd of witnesses knows this. And the Blessing is this, and could be the people and situations you pray for. Your blessings and thoughts and life expand.

Now, if this is a new thing for you to contemplate, going to Church, let's talk about the woes.

Rise above it, Jesus said several times.

In the Name of Jesus Christ, Son of God, you will need to rise above it.  You might have to sit next to Peter. And he might tell you about his wife and his mother-in-law.  Or you might have political put downs from Simon. Bartholomew has this cousin named John Mark, run.

That's ok.  You have girded your loins with Truth, the Breastplate of Righteousness, you have put on the Helmet of Salvation, taken up the Sword of the Spirit, which the Word of God.  You're Protected by the Shield of Faith. And your feet are beautiful in the Gospel of Peace.

You have the Garden of Eden with the Lord. Be the Comfort. Be the Comforter, be the Helper. Build up the Body of Christ.

Woes. Whoa. One of the reasons Church populations has fallen, we have to have the same ideas, we have to dislike the same dislikable things.

Well, to this idea. Yes and No. Yes, Jesus knew He was followed by a great multitude. A great crowd in the Bible is the size of Capernaum, about 3 thousand people. A great multitude could be 2 million and on up, Josephus records in the History of the Jews. Jesus did get annoyed with the crowd merely seeking Him for a miracle and a meal. But Jesus did not regularly say if there was a great multitude - this was unwashed.

If you go to Church, virtue signalling bounces around. And gets like the Bible says, I was baptized by Apollo or Titus and not Joel Olsteen, therefore etc., etc., etc.  That's 1 Corinthian 1:10-17.  I like most sermons.  People get like this and that with virtue signalling. Jesus says at one point, He does not entrust Himself to the people, He knows what is in them.  John 2:24

This is not new. In the 1970s, the Virgin Birth was the lithium dial. Then this lifted with joy in the idea of Messenger Angels for the Lord. Then the Jabez Promise for financial Blessings. Followed by the idea that prosperity and happiness was like ham on Christmas Day for Puritans.  We have to believe in the downward spiral of mankind to believe God sees His Creation is bad?

God says the world needs salvation, today, He sees His Creation as good.

Being Happy in Church is being in Love with the Lord.

But there is a caveat, and in time and space, this would be as large as the Universe upheld by His Word. Salvation is only a Gift of God. No one could earn Salvation. Because: God wants to save ..... THE WORLD... in Jesus Christ.

The point about Jabez Blessings, sometimes you go to Antioch instead of delving into the controversy.  Why Bible Studies dwindle. A virtue signal might have a polite nod and then the feet vote.  When we see signs in the Church parking lot saying we are heading to the Mission Field, no. We are in the Mission Field.

If you are going to Church for your time to Love the Lord, you can remind yourself to Shine with His Love and skip the controversies.

If we believe God, we have to believe in His Love for His People.

Is this worth the gain to have some of the pain?

My mother was healed completely of her Thyroid Tumor in a day.
I've seen a woman violently suffering from scars from a dog bite fully recover miraculously.
Dee, Cindy and I prayed over our trees in Hurricane Ike. And even if huge trees suddenly fell over, the prayer held from 2008 to today.

A prayer group prayed for suffering elderly parents and all were healed from suffering.

Prayer for items stolen recovered. Items to be kept were kept.

One art group I attended, had ladies really bond. We discovered, later, all 11 of us had had mother abuse. And we fully understood each other. And prayed for relief from abuse from elderly mothers. Prayers were heard.

A priest asked for prayers from heart failure and lived from critical demise another 8 full years. A man asked for prayer as an atheist/agnostic and our prayer group prayed and MD Anderson jaw cancer was cancelled due to complete healing.

Financial prayers were upheld. Children were healed from brain trauma and death. A child recovered from brain failure after a car accident. Full recovery. Bladder cancer healed. A child pre-born was found to be without vital internal organs, and the Organs grew in.

What did these Prayer Groups have in common? The willingness to find the New Commandment of Jesus - Love One Another!!!!

For the joy of the Lord
is your strength.

Abba, Father God,

By You all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible,
Jesus brings many sons to glory.

We ask to seek You first.
In Jesus, we will finish well.

Favor our Nation, dwell in us. Please.

We ask to know to seek You first in all aspects of Life.
Knowing we will see and be more of Heaven on earth.

 Proverbs 16:9
The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord,
plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Isaiah 40:31
But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint.

Abba, Father God,

You have told us to always pray with Hope.

We pray for the 73 Million Children
in the USA to have Your Blessing
and Protection.

Jesus help us in this Nation to be in Your Word and see more Joy.
Covered in God's Love,

The end of Trouble.
Help this Virus end quickly, safely

We rest in the Hands of Our Good Father.

In Jesus Christ. Amen.

Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
