2 Corinthians 9:7-15
7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart,
not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. 9 As it is written,
“He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor;
his righteousness endures forever.”
10 He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. 11 You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God. 12 For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God. 13 By their approval of this service, they will glorify God because of your submission that comes from your confession of the gospel of Christ, and the generosity of your contribution for them and for all others, 14 while they long for you and pray for you, because of the surpassing grace of God upon you.
15 Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!
We have friends in North Carolina. And, unlike 2 of the National News Networks, have been following this recovery. People are sending INCREDIBLE GENEROSITY FROM THEIR HEART
Huge Pipes for water, helicopters, Bridges capable of allowing traffic if the shoreline is stable. Medical teams volunteering as individuals, mule teams, horse teams, hiking teams, excavators. Medical teams looking for ways to help. This is the grassroots of America. People willing to go in to help. Most of the people we have heard from are not seeing the Red Cross yet or FEMA. Notice the word used, 'yet.' DeSantis has dispatched a convoy four days ago of Florida Dept of Transportation staff and very heavy equipment. 7,500 feet of temporary bridges and damage assessment crews and roadway repairs.
Also, people are bringing, and asked to bring:
Children's needs. Formula. Diapers. Clothing. Toys. Help for all the Elderly, particularly those with livestock stuck in the mud. Hoof rot is real. Fencing equipment!!! CLOTHING.
Bottled Water. Veterinarians.
The Most Asked For:
Prayer. People are asking for Prayer. Continued Prayer.
White Sheet Recovery - still underway
Families with missing people are asked to hang out a white sheet in front of their home. To let the helicopters now if someone is trapped or missing.

Communication
The volunteers are going where the road allows them and are sometimes finding overlap in giving. Other areas are forlorn. Elon Musk's Starlink is available for the people able to travel into larger towns. Relatives are still hoping for word from family. 3 Counties are still basically unreached.
Bog Down Solution:
Churches are finding themselves in the Hub of need and volunteers seeking to help.
If The Churches would put themselves in the gateway of the highways leading in and out of the towns, the counties could coordinate need and effort. It's an Old Testament sit in the Gate Solution.
Some towns have a 30-minute traffic jam on the road of people trying to come in to help. Again, 3 counties are cut off and about 5 total haven't seen much help due to roads.
This outpouring is amazing and occurs within a time frame of economic downturn. Compared, in just 6 days, to Katrina's selfless giving.
Kamala and Biden
do not appear to be stepping up.
However, State Churches who are in the Safe areas
and maybe help from the High Schools with time off,
could help more than small organizations.
