God spoke

Actually, I am excited about 2026. And have not fallen into the Januaries.
And So this is January
I never was interested in the Lenin Christmas song.
Like a bad metallic taste in the mouth.
Heard for the first time in my teens when I was blue. I was deciding if I liked the more adult version of Christmas. And I decided...
Yes, I really Love Christmas!
The idea God would entrust His Good Creation again with Salvation,
in Jesus Christ.
Now January. How many people say, I just love January.
And if they do, they really are talking about snow sports. Or beach vacations. January is the season we gird our loins until spring, when everyone is so happy again. January is when we make New Year's resolutions. And very oddly, in the age of information, black and white are the same news story.
January is
Stuck in a Rut, Stuck in a Rut. When you look at Amazon and Netflix, after you are required to check in, and find you have been pegged. And nothing looks new, it is all clones of the same thing. Pete and repeat. Oh, no! Dusty death of the sound and fury. Diets that promise immediate 30 lb weight loss without muscle or organ upset. Leading to weirder diets. With celestial names. Or gym workouts. Leading to 3.5 weeks of intense muscle pain.
What is new?
We can see this two ways. Social media has a new algorithm for displaying the most ridiculous, prolonged stories with a few of the details changed. And sadness. With hope. All packed into 9 paragraphs. Then answered by people pointing to another identical post. These generally do not have a correct name, or any name, associated with this. So blasé, it is unnamed. With an idea to sell something. And products pushed, when and if you read the reviews, are about sawdust.
And asking the new AI features... it is escaping... Hal.
Grok dislikes President Trump and has put Hal in front of Elon. Pick any question. Gardening, lumbago, parcheeeesy. If you ask leaning to the east, you get one answer, and if you ask leaning to the west, you get the polar opposite answer. Notice I did not say lean to the right or the left, because a lot of life is more like east and west NNW South or EEN West. Unless you watch the news, where the same topic, as I wrote earlier, is black or white whiteblack depending on if you want to see gross become normal and homeless men in schoolgirls locker rooms, while learning to be the matrix battery of uh-huh, if you tell me to think this, ok.
Doe, a deer, a female deer;
Ray, a drop of golden sun;
me, a name I call myself;

And like most of us who have experienced the silliness of advertising in decades past, we lump Al into lump it and go on. It's rather interesting to ask Al questions and watch the circle. But avoid the Januaries. The Januaries of too many overwhelming self-improvements to not be stuck in a rut, stuck in a ...
Then you do the adulting and decide for yourself. Proverbs. Seek wisdom and get wisdom.
And then,
you can see things differently.
The Scriptures do not circle.
They point up.
Rise up!
The Scriptures say so many times.
Rise up!
Seek wisdom and get wisdom. The Bible does give us wisdom and puts us in the correct Way, Truth and Life. The Lord told us this life gives trouble. And in the news, you have 2.5 headlines, or 42 headlines.
However, our daily lives and needs have far more layers.
A youth minister friend was sent on sabbatical to Pennsylvania.
And the speaker was so refreshing, I wasn't in the room, or even the state. I do not remember the speaker's name, but the ideas put forth were so radical and so uplifting, his wisdom has moved me for 20 years at least once a week. He listed about 50 to 75 things we can all be concerned about. Daily. And his list went on to 150 things we could need to address. And in fact, he pointed out 30 household chores that are routine. Overwhelming.
The list he gave was overwhelming.
Then it comes down to the bottom line.
How will we sort this out!
The Pressure of Today
What choice will we make TODAY to be blessed, helped, relieved, encouraged and set our families on a path that leads them to God?
Light.
Billy Graham held up a candle in a completely darkened football stadium and said, "The Light of Jesus Christ was 2,000 years ago. And when we hold up this small candle, in the middle of the dark, we can see HIS LIGHT. The darkness has not overcome HIS LIGHT."
Lives changed. One man heard Billy Graham and drove many states over and entered into Birmingham, and by leading a high school football team and students to Jesus Christ, Birmingham overcame racism and was no longer called
bombingham.
Lives changed.
In the 2.5 or 42 headlines, we do not see 15,000 were baptized this week. We have slowly seen baptism in Church erode. In fact, we could see this happening worldwide.
Now Colleges, Universities and towns in the EU, the UK, thousands in Brazil, Armenia, the Philippines, and Korea are believing and baptizing in the Love and Faith in Jesus Christ. Charlie Kirk's Turning Point. Thousands and Thousands. Franklin Graham, 75,000 new Christians in a day. WOW. And we don't see it told. Or jump up and down and say, Even my 1898 born grandmother did not see this. Nor her parents. Nor the grandparents she (as the youngest daughter) rode to see, while riding in 2 covered wagons with 12 siblings. Singing. Because that was how music was available. Seeking the Very Love and Goodness of God.
Lives are changing.
More and more algorithms are allowing the famous to come out and say, I survive and have hope and love and joy and peace and beauty and my soul sings and my heart rejoices because of the Light in Jesus Christ within me. I am reborn, remade and renewed daily! The Lord! Because of the Goodness of God and His Plan. Forever. And Ever. Amen.
We can seek this and find this.
People all over America and the world are moved by Jesus. And this is just one stone Billy Graham set in motion. When the USA began changing denominations to find the Real and Whole and Holy Word of God Preached. Thousands and thousands are being baptized. Reading the Word of God. Seeking The Lord. And have been Found.
We can seek and find how radically Jesus is providing Hope and Goodness.
A direction to Rise Up!

This is January. How did the Pennsylvania Seminar on Priorities tell us to take today.
The Pressure of Today.
Every day, ask God to show you how to spend your day.
Pray and ask for His Blessings
over every aspect
you have on the layered list of your lives.
Believe. He answers. Make notes. For Him and for you.
Today. Mankind says you need this many sets of layers to be well within being ok, cool, exceptional, successful, and admired. This is the season of uh-huh sure, in reality.
Scripture tells you if you lead a quiet life and work with your hands, you are well within His parameters to be blessed. Not saying that loud and busy lives are not within His Good Creation. He is saying sufficiency being found, is peaceful. He is saying gratitude makes a cheerful heart. He is saying, direct your thoughts to what is good and noble. Joy seekers become joy providers. To find more Heaven on earth, create and be more Heaven on earth. Pray for one another. Let your cup runneth over and over
To deal with your priorities, ask God to help. He will.

The Father of the Heavenly lights,
Who does not change
like shifting shadows.

"Casting all your care upon Him;

We all have a time when we felt something learned became part of us.
Like a sequoia from a seed. This Scripture, written by Peter, walking with Jesus, helped me during the first year of our oldest child. Our son Cal was born with apnea. And in hindsight, this was good. Cal would go to sleep and quit breathing. For his first year of life, he would set off an alarm if he quit breathing, and we would wake and gently, shake him. I had never been more terrified. This Scripture was the rock I stood upon. Rise up. God hears you. And He did.
All those terrors of alarms and wires. Eventually, during those 12 months, I realized, this was a blessing and not a horror. This was teaching Cal to breathe while he slept.
Seeing all the way to completion, is the process of being blessed.

At Christmas time,
we are reminded
Jesus Christ is God's Word Manifest
appearing in Creation as
Light.
So far beyond what we see, beyond our ideas of time and space, physical body
and Spiritual Almighty.
During His Birth,
we are told
The Power of God
is like the Sunlight
visiting us from above.
God upholds the Universe
Our Father upholds the Universe
with the Power of His Word.
Our Father,
God the Almighty,
Creator of Heaven and earth,
Creator of all things.
As we consider
Your Love
and
Your Light,
Let Jesus be part of our existence
like Light
Light is required and generated as we are conceived.
In Your Light
we exist and have our being.
The warmth of Light
makes Life possible
in the vast
darkness, of a dark and cold universe
this small, small planet
reflects the Light of The Sun
or Son, Holy Son
And we
exist.
Light increases our abilities to wake
and go forth
to make our lives filled
with the deeds You would want.
Light tells
us
to Rest, as the Light rests.
Light causes renewal.
Light is joy, as Spring begins again.
All of mankind rejoices.
Light creates wellness
and mankind holds on to the Light.
Our Prayers
travel to Heaven
like Light
continues for years.
We ask, Father,
The Light of
Jesus Christ
to fill us daily
to do as You would Will and Want
to give us the Light
and fill us with
Your Steadfast Love.
We ask all healing of You, Father,
We ask Your Love and Warmth
would be our energy each day
and the Hope
and Faith
and Love
guiding us.
In the Name of Jesus

embolden us

redeem us
and keep us forever.
