Ephesians 1 ~ Fills all in all

 

Ephesians 1

Abba, Father,

Almighty God, 

from whom all thoughts of truth and peace proceed: 

Kindle, we pray, 

in the hearts of all people

 the true love of peace

...for the spread of divine love and peace 


Almighty God,
On this day You opened the way of eternal life to every race and nation
by the promised gift of Your Holy Spirit:
Rekindle in every heart the fire of your love,
and 

strengthen all who proclaim the Gospel
to witness bravely to Your Truth;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.



Come, Holy Spirit, 

and fill the hearts of your faithful people;
set us on fire with the flame of your love.
Send forth your Spirit, and we shall be created,
and 

You shall renew the face of the earth.


O God, the King eternal,
Whose Light divides the day from the night 

and 

turns the shadow of death 

into the morning:

Drive far from us all wrong desires, 

incline our hearts to keep Your Law,
and guide our feet into the way of peace;
that, 

having done Your Will

 with cheerfulness during the day,

we may, 

when night comes, 

rejoice 

to give You Thanks !

In Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.


Gracious Father, 

we pray for thy Church. 

Fill it
with all truth, 

in all truth with all peace. 

Where it is corrupt,
purify it; 

where it is in error, 

direct it; 

where in any thing it is amiss, 

reform it. 

Where it is Right, 

Strengthen it; 

where it is in want, 

Provide for it; 

where it is divided, 

Reunite it; 

for the sake
of Jesus Christ 

Thy Son our Savior. 

Amen.

Dwell in me,

Dwell in us,

Dwell in those we Love,

Help us to seek You first.

And we will finish well, 

in Jesus Christ. 

Help us seek and find 

and bring,

to become,

 more Heaven

to this earth.
