Abba, our Abba,
We remember together Zechariah standing in the Temple of God, meeting Gabriel. And wondering - leading to doubt. Zechariah enduring doubt and seeing the Gracious Goodness of Your always planned Will and Salvation.
Remembering Abraham and his family living in tents in purchased land believing themselves Infinitely Blessed of God.
And in the Vast Goodness of Your Will we say this:
Of this gospel I was made a minister according to the gift of God’s grace, which was given me by the working of his power.
To me, though I am the very least of all the saints,
this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,
and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God,
who created all things
Through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.
Belief of Jesus reached the Palace of Herod and Caesar's household quickly.
This was according to the eternal purpose we have realized in Christ Jesus our Lord
And because of Jesus
we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him.
Because of this invitation to be held to Abba as we pray:
I ask you not to lose heart over what suffers us, which God will bring to His Glory.
The Light of the World is Jesus Christ
Jesus please - for our loved ones, the people You give us, the prayers we ask.
Covering us inside our souls, surrounding our families with love, our Churches.
The Light, the Word of God, shining in our work places, communities. Going forth to our Nation and world.
We ask in Jesus. Amen.
