Blessed to attend a prayer meeting this week, where the prayer requests went up about 100%. Lots of travel - a different sort of week - lots of hope. Lots of hope to connect with hearts and meaning. The people who pray, really pray a lot for others. Which is a very, very, very, very, very good indication of heart.
Is the Lord God, our Almighty Father boggled by prayers? We can pray for peace, but wouldn't we really like to give and receive the Very Peace of God Himself?
There is not a faithful believer who has not contemplated - Peter. Peter is a - Comfort. Well, consider this: Peter is given the Keys to Heaven. One minor detail. God is so assured of His Kingdom and His Peace, the 12 Gates of Heaven have a closure of one Gigantic Pearl and remain perpetually - open.
Now for me - this assures me - no human being is going to separate us from Jesus. We have assess to God Himself in our prayers through Jesus. Our Father is not alarmed by our prayers and is not going to forget. Our prayers are not going to be forgotten, unheeded or ignored. Our Father, who has called the Stars by Name, who does not find the Universe large - is Loving you and planning you for His eternal Kingdom. The people who have researched prayer - have found that prayer is ASTONISHING. Those studied with prayer have vastly different results. Prayer partners are a very good thing to have. Prayer groups are to be vastly encouraged. The person who will stop what they are doing and pray with you and for you. Love is a dramatic prayer. To pray, like Jesus, with God and with Love - can take on the world. The Gates of Heaven and Father God's heart is - OPEN.
And if you have any Peter type concerns - you are not going to be able to blow up someone's hope to God. Father God is leaving the Gates Open. Jesus spoke of seeds, when we pray - many, many times - we are planting seeds. The answer is the Lord's.
Paul knew about Prayer. He developed his knack for prayer. The Disciples of Jesus felt having a knack for prayer was a very great blessing to have.
Philippians 1
I am writing to all of God’s holy people in Philippi who belong to Christ Jesus, including the elders and deacons.
2 May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.
3 Every time I think of you,
I give thanks to my God.
4Whenever I pray,
I make my requests for all of you
with joy,
5 for you have been my partners
in spreading the Good News about Christ
from the time you first heard it until now.
6 And I am certain that God,
who began the good work within you,
will continue his work
until it is finally finished
on the day when Christ Jesus returns.
We tend to learn the words and skip the heart. God is saying mature, old, grey headed people pray. God is saying the people we have an idea pray - should be asked to pray. The people with this "tendency". Seek them out to pray. God's saying we get grace and peace being prayed for. These praying people will probably pray for you when they think of you and the way the Spirit of God is moving. These praying people we know have a certainty. Good works of God are going to follow. And God's like this - as you collect prayer for yourself and discover the relief of a praying community - you are going to find you increase in hope and prayer 'ability'. Never hesitate to contact others for prayers.
This is pleasing to Father God known for Words.
Works of God have a benefit - a Blessing.
7 So it is right that I should feel as I do about all of you,
for you have a special place in my heart.
You share with me the special favor of God
8 God knows how much I love you and long for you with the tender compassion of Christ Jesus.
Praying one to one tends to do this. And in Youth Ministry, we learn there is a time frame. Earning the Right to be Heard. These prayers begin holding up, with a very diligent Love - those we Love. We do not leap into this many times. We plant seeds and look to the willingness and time frame of God Himself. We do not take prayer and say "my will". God's Good and Gracious Will and Timing. Our steadfast Love continues. Psalm 136 - God never has to repeat Himself and, yet, Steadfast Love is completely required and tells us of what Love truly is. Forgiving and believing.
9 I pray that your love will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding. 10 For I want you to understand what really matters, so that you may live pure and blameless lives until the day of Christ’s return. 11 May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation—the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christb—for this will bring much glory and praise to God.
12 And I want you to know, my dear brothers and sisters,
The Bible mentions women more than we speed by and realize.
that everything that has happened to me here has helped to spread the Good News.
13 For everyone here, including the whole palace guard
A true Work of God includes people from:
Herod's Palace,
From Caesar's Palace,
People of Color,
and the Sinners of the Temple,
and the Saints.
Even the Siblings of Jesus who have merely been lay abouts.
All know that I am in chains because of Christ. 14 And because of my seasons, most of the believers here have gained confidence and boldly speak God’s message without fear.
Prayer
And I will continue to rejoice.
19 For I know that as you pray for me
and the Spirit of Jesus Christ helps me,
this will lead to my deliverance.
Prayer is - the expectation of Joy. The appeal of seeing the willingness of Jesus Christ. The healing of Father God. The endurance and steadfast Love of the Holy Spirit. The Process of all things working for Good. Knowing His Will is Good. The Fruit of the Spirit is not worry, continue to talk of problems. Discuss the sadness of current events. The Fruit of the Spirit is not status quo. The Fruit of the Spirit is condensed to be: GOOD NEWS.
20 For I fully expect and hope
that I will never be ashamed, but that I will continue to be bold for Christ,
as I have been in the past.
And I trust that my life will bring honor to Christ,
whether I live or die. 21 For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better.
22But if I live, I can do more fruitful work for Christ.
So I really don’t know which is better. 23I’m torn between two desires: I long to go and be with Christ, which would be far better for me. 24 But for your sakes, it is better that I continue to live.
25 Knowing this, I am convinced that I will remain alive
so I can continue to help all of you
grow and experience the joy of your faith.
26 And when I come to you again, you will have even more reason to take pride in Christ Jesus because of what he is doing through me.
27 Above all,
you must live as citizens of heaven,
conducting yourselves in a manner worthy of the Good News about Christ.
Then, whether I come and see you again or only hear about you, I will know that you are standing together with one spirit and one purpose, fighting together for the faith, which is the Good News. 28Don’t be intimidated in any way by your enemies. This will be a sign to them that they are going to be destroyed, but that you are going to be saved, even by God himself. 29 For you have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the privilege of suffering for him. 30 We are in this struggle together. You have seen my struggle in the past, and you know that I am still in the midst of it.
Abba,
1 Timothy 2:2
for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
What we have seen for high and low in answered prayer, we pray upon ourselves, our families, our loved ones and friends. For our nation.
1 Thessalonians 1:2
We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers
2 Thessalonians 1:3
We are obligated to thank God for you all the time, brothers, as is fitting, because your faith is growing more and more, and your love for one another is increasing.
And for all the people who pray for one another - circling not only our counties, work places, communities, Churches, States, Nations and covering the world with God's Love and our Hopes.
For many, many blessings we are renewed to see. Thank You, Abba. Thank You Jesus. Amen.
