Psalm 130
Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord!
2 O Lord, hear my voice!
Let your ears be attentive
to the voice of my pleas for mercy!
3 If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities,
O Lord, who could stand?
4 But with you
there is forgiveness,
that you may be feared.
5 I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
and in his word I hope;
6 my soul waits for the Lord
more than watchmen for the morning,
more than watchmen for the morning.
7 O Israel, hope in the Lord!
For with the Lord there is steadfast love,
and with him is plentiful redemption.
8 And he will redeem Israel
from all his iniquities.

For the LORD is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him.
Repeat with joy!!!

1 Timothy 6:12
Fight the good fight of the faith.
Take hold of the eternal life
to which you were called
when you made your good confession
in the presence
of many witnesses.
Take hold of the eternal life

We shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight
with growing confidence and growing strength in the air
We shall defend our Island,
whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches,
we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets,
we shall fight in the hills;
We shall never surrender
and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this Island or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Empire beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the British Fleet,
would carry on the struggle,
Until, in God’s good time, the New World, with all its power and might,
steps forth
to the rescue
and the liberation of the old.
Genesis 1:29 Behold, I have given you every
Many Centuries were to pass before the God that spake in the Burning Bush was to manifest Himself in a new revelation, which nevertheless was the oldest of all the inspirations of the Hebrew people—as the God not only of Israel, but of all mankind who wished to serve Him; a God not only of justice, but of mercy; a God not only of self-preservation and survival, but of pity, self-sacrifice, and ineffable love.
~ Winston Churchill
I sing a song of the saints of God,
patient and brave and true,
who toiled and fought and lived and died
for the Lord they loved and knew.
They lived not only in ages past;
there are hundreds of thousands still;
the world is bright with the joyous saints
who love to do Jesus’ will.
You can meet them in school, or in lanes, or at sea,
in church, or in trains, or in shops, or at tea;
for the saints of God are just folk like me,
and I mean to be one too.
This is art. This is worship. This is sacrifice. This is witness. This is the labor of mankind with gifts from the Loving Father. Music is more than sound. This is art. This is worship. This is sacrifice. This is witness. This is the labor of mankind with gifts from the Loving Father. Created by many, many, many witnesses. This is the Communion of the Saints. Michelangelo became crippled working with marble and the Sistine Chapel. Bach became increasingly blind towards the end of his life while Beethoven began to lose his hearing when we was 26 and became completely deaf in the ensuing decade. And like Hebrews 11 - some of the artists were saved by their art for more and greater purpose.
Hebrews 12:1
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us
Heaven will include Nebuchadnezzar repentant. Perhaps Alexander the Great bowing to the Priest of God and seeking to die in Nebuchadnezzar's palace. We remember the amazing gifts of God for the Centuries. God of All Cultures. God of All Ages. God of All Wisdom.
Abba, our Father, Ancient of Days, Filled with Love,
With Your Help we will Fight the good fight of the faith.
With Jesus inside and the Holy Spirit surrounding, we will take hold of this eternal life today.
Because Jesus saves us from wrath, we are called, when we make your good confession
- of Jesus as God Almighty, my savior -
in the presence of many witnesses.
We know we have fought the Good Fight of Faith in the daily lists of obligation and joy.
We know Our LORD longs to be gracious to you
And Because Our Redeemer Lives, we know
Our Holy and Loving Heavenly Father will rise up
to show you compassion.
To give His Mercy
For the LORD is a God of justice.
Blessed are all who wait for him!
Jesus Christ for us,
Jesus Christ for those we Love,
Jesus Christ for our people He has given us,
Jesus Christ for all Nations Trusting in Him,
Jesus Christ for all the people calling upon His Name.
