If Christmas is stressful, perhaps we should instead, fight all our battles with Prayer in Jesus Christ with Father God. And allow God to be God. Giving thanks for our circumstances. God calls the stars by name. God has Given us Jesus' Name to Pray to Him with confidence. If we allow God used all of the Heavens to call the Stars by Name - then in the Name of Jesus - we will ask Father God and allow His Good Will and our faith the room to do His Plans giving us a Hope and a Future. And as the father brought his son to Jesus for healing, we will Let God's Mercy, His Willing Mercy do more than we can ask or imagine.
Christmas and Answered Prayer
Zechariah's Prayer
Zechariah and his wife Elizabeth were righteous in the sight of God, observing all the Lord’s commands and decrees blamelessly.
All the assembled worshipers were praying outside.
The angel said to him: “Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to call him John. 14 He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth, 15 for he will be great in the sight of the Lord."
Elizabeth Prayed
"As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. 45 Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!”
Mary Prayed Uniquely to God,
speaking to His Messenger Gabriel
and through His Word
speaking to His Messenger Gabriel
and through His Word
For no word from God will ever fail.
38 “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.”
46 And Mary said:
“My soul glorifies the Lord
47 and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,
48 for he has been mindful
of the humble state of his servant.
From now on all generations will call me blessed,
49 for the Mighty One has done great things for me—
holy is his name.
Mary had the direction of God she had asked and prayed about.
Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.
Joseph Prayed in his thoughts
Joseph - considered - these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear ... giving Joseph all the Guidance Joseph did pray for.
Joseph dreamed God answered him to Go to Egypt and dreamed for the 3rd time to withdraw from Jerusalem and live in the district of Galilee.
The Wise Men Prayed
And behold, the star that they had seen when it rose went before them until it came to rest over the place where the child was. 10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy. 11 And going into the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh. 12 And being warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed to their own country by another way.
Simeon Prayed
Simeon, who was righteous and devout. He was waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was on him. 26 It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not die before he had seen the Lord’s Messiah. 27 Moved by the Spirit, he went into the temple courts. When the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what the custom of the Law required, 28 Simeon took him in his arms and praised God, saying:
29 “Sovereign Lord, as you have promised,
you may now dismiss your servant in peace.
30 For my eyes have seen your salvation,
31 which you have prepared in the sight of all nations:
32 a light for revelation to the Gentiles,
and the glory of your people Israel.”
Anna Prayed
Anna, the daughter of Penuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was very old; she had lived with her husband seven years after her marriage, 37 and then was a widow until she was eighty-four. She never left the temple but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying. 38 Coming up to them at that very moment, she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem.
Acts 1
10 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them.
11 “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”
2 Corinthians 1:20
For all the promises of God are "Yes" in Christ.
And so through Him,
Abba,
Hark! the herald angels sing,
"Glory to the newborn King!
Peace on earth, and mercy mild,
God and sinners reconciled."
Joyful, all ye nations, rise,
Join the triumph of the skies;
With the angelic host proclaim,
Christ, by highest heaven adored:
Christ, the everlasting Lord
Abba, we would proclaim Your Love this Christmas.
The Wonder of God's Birth announced so Vividly,
the stones would cry out to Proclaim Jesus if the earth of the Lord's fullness did not.
Let Love cover us and Bless us.
Let the Name of Jesus and His Love cover and Bless the ones we Love.
And all the earth will know the fullness of Your Love. And
our children's children will see the Wondrous Acts of God.
Glory to You, in the Name of Jesus, we ask for Love, Peace and Joy.
In Jesus Christ. Amen.
