Luke 1:78
Because of the tender mercy of our God, whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high
We are coming to a New Year. And yet every day we have new opportunities for the Renewal of Father God's Mercies.
Our plans, our hope and our future are still in the Hands of God.
Imagine if we could interview Zechariah meeting the Archangel Gabriel. And find he says, "Because of the tender mercy of our God, whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high."
John explained Jesus and His Father. God is Love.
1 John 4:7-21
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
9 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. 10 In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
God abides in us and His Love is perfected in us. A difficult thing to understand. The Scriptures tell us we love because He first loves us. This could be the Giving is the perfection. The Majesty of God of All, Creator of All things gives Love.
Father God only expects a return like the Prodigal Son's Father.
He's Got the Whole World in His Hands. And Jesus did willingly open up his hands and let His Life be given that we might Live in God's Kingdom for the Righteousness of Jesus.
New Year 2020! Our God is Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.
Abba,
If we thank You every day for Your mercies - we are Blessed. Help us to gratefully see Your Giving. Our Willing Father.
And when we take our difficulties and search and search until we find a real reason to give Thanks, we have an understanding of Your Goodness.
Thank You for another year. To have Hope and a Future. Thank You for the gift of people You have given us to Love.
Blessed Lord Jesus for all of this. Amen.
Isaiah 55:10–11
For as the rain cometh down, And the snow from heaven,
And returneth not thither, But watereth the earth,
And maketh it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth:
It shall not return unto me void, But it shall accomplish that which I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
