On earth as it is in Heaven
Romans 8:1-4
There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.
For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do.
By sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
I feel rather weakened by this. Christmas is such a time of gathering together. And, again, not this year.
Abba, Father God,
As we consider the Wondrous First Christmas, we realize again the Heavenly Host attended.
The Holy Spirit Blessed and Revealed Hearts.
Father God was our Father in Heaven.
Knowing Jesus was bringing a new Heaven and a new earth.
In Your Steadfast Love and Compassion, Father God,
We are held in Your Tenderness, under Your Wings,
We gently ask Your Compassion
In the Holy Spirit Grant us Your Love and Care, this will not repeat.
The end of this year with sin and death.
You Sent us Your Son, Jesus Christ, knowing the sorrow of separation.
We have behaved, all of us, in ways showing weakened physical bodies, weary.
In Your Righteousness, filled by Jesus Christ. Allow us and give us
All Hope this separation from those we Love,
Will Keep us Heart, Mind, Soul and Body walking in
Your Heart and pleasing according to Your Gracious Holy Spirit.
This year has seen some Greatness,
but far more of weariness of sin all over the news,
and in our fears,
and in the Negativity.
We are tired of being apart, separated for safety.
Help us to be Free in Christ Jesus.
From news of sin.
Free from death and news of death. Free from sorrow for the losses.
In our frail forms, You know we are but dust and few, brief days.
Jesus says we Arise in Belief of Your Promises and Eternal Days of Life.
We will walk and shake off weariness
not according to the body,
but in newness of Life as we recall You walked awesomely Healing All.
And You proclaim our body, living in You
is a Temple of the Holy Spirit,
within our soul, body, mind and Your Spirit.
We have this from You, Our God, our Father.
Pleasing and Acceptable in Jesus Christ,
Alpha and Omega,
Shepherd of our Souls.

From the Beginning,
Just as those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses
and Ministers of the Word have delivered the Word to us.
And Zechariah said to the angel, “How shall I know this?
This was before the New Covenant.
For you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways,
to give knowledge of salvation to his people
in the forgiveness of their sins,
because of the tender mercy of our God,
whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high
to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death,
to guide our feet into the way of peace.
“Fear not, for behold,
I bring you good news of great joy
that will be
for all the people.”
