Psalm 28 ~ I lift up my hands to Your Most Holy Sanctuary

 

Psalm 28

1 To you, O Lord, I call;

my rock, be not deaf to me,

lest, if you be silent to me,

I become like those who go down to the pit.

2 Hear the voice of my pleas for mercy,

when I cry to you for help,

when I lift up my hands

toward your most holy sanctuary.

3 Do not drag me off with the wicked,

with the workers of evil,

who speak peace with their neighbors

while evil is in their hearts.

4 Give to them according to their work

and according to the evil of their deeds;

give to them according to the work of their hands;

render them their due reward.

5 Because they do not regard the works of the Lord

or the work of his hands,

he will tear them down and build them up no more.

6 Blessed be the Lord!

For he has heard the voice of my pleas for mercy.

7 The Lord is my strength and my shield;

in him my heart trusts, and I am helped;

my heart exults,

and with my song I give thanks to him.

8 The Lord is the strength of his people;

he is the saving refuge of his anointed.

9 Oh, save your people and bless your heritage!

Blue, blue Christmas?

A Christmas Season of picking Joy. We cannot always choose the emotion of Joy, however, in reality, we largely are able to do this. Sometimes just by praying the Lord's Prayer.

Ok, last year we had an early, set up the Lights Christmas Spend Extravaganza. Love to make up for the fear and anger and worry.

This year, the USA spending is down Significantly. Affecting layers of life. This is the year of it's not really just "6%" inflation.  This Christmas is make due Christmas.  Mrs. Miniver, the 1942 movie Really Academy Award-Winning, takes life and looks at Life offering only make due. We should not expect this year is our new forever. We have Hope and a Future. 

The Joy in finding and delivering meaningful life.  Making meaningful life. This is this Christmas. It takes time of adjustment to do this work, and I believe we have had the months and the Spirit to find this.

We could point to another year everything seemed off kilter.

I lift up my hands toward Your Most Holy Sanctuary

 regard the works of the Lord or the work of His Hands

Blessed be the Lord!

He has heard the voice of my pleas for mercy.

Save Your people and bless Your heritage

Abba, Father,

Dwell in us, help us to be Your delight.

Dwell in those we Love.

Help us to Seek You First.

And we will finish well.

Bless our Nation, praying in Hope with Jesus Christ.

Thank You God, for the Reason for the Season. 

Even in fish, You were known to put Your hands in life, in water and feed us!

Expectation of Life Abundant.

God of Love, God of Encouragement

we lift the suffering to You

for Your overwhelming, sustainable Help and Love.

We thank You in Jesus Christ for our blessings of Strength and fire in the Holy Spirit.

Blessed are You, Lord God.

Blessed be the Holy Spirit fire within us.

Psalm 89:19-37 ~ The Lord has granted help

 

 

Psalm 89:19-37

Of old you spoke in a vision to your godly one, and said:

    “I have granted help to one who is mighty;

    I have exalted one chosen from the people.

20 I have found David, my servant;

    with my holy oil I have anointed him,

21 so that my hand shall be established with him;

    my arm also shall strengthen him.

22 The enemy shall not outwit him;

    the wicked shall not humble him.

23 I will crush his foes before him

    and strike down those who hate him.

24 My faithfulness and my steadfast love shall be with him,

    and in my name shall his horn be exalted.

25 I will set his hand on the sea

    and his right hand on the rivers.

26 He shall cry to me, ‘You are my Father,

    my God, and the Rock of my salvation.’

27 And I will make him the firstborn,

    the highest of the kings of the earth.

28 My steadfast love I will keep for him forever,

    and my covenant will stand firm for him.

29 I will establish his offspring forever

    and his throne as the days of the heavens.

30 If his children forsake my law

    and do not walk according to my rules,

31 if they violate my statutes

    and do not keep my commandments,

32 then I will punish their transgression with the rod

    and their iniquity with stripes,

33 but I will not remove from him my steadfast love

    or be false to my faithfulness.

34 I will not violate my covenant

    or alter the word that went forth from my lips.

35 Once for all I have sworn by my holiness;

    I will not lie to David.

36 His offspring shall endure forever,

    his throne as long as the sun before me.

37 Like the moon it shall be established forever,

    a faithful witness in the skies.” Selah

 The Good News is  God gives us the Day to find a new Day. His mercies renew every day. He loadeth us with benefits.

On the days we all have our doubts in crease and faith seems small and wispy, the work Father God gives mankind is to seek and find. Seek with all we have.  And we will find.

 Proverbs 8:17 

 I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me.

Reading Psalms. Until the right Chapter is found. Listening on You Tube to Sermons. Remembering a Favorite Verse of the Scriptures. To know the Scriptures is to know the Power of God.

When God gave His Word Peter would have Keys to the Kingdom of God, He didn't mention the Gates of Heaven never close. So probably, God was saying Peter understood the Key to seeking and finding is to Love God and Find His Word to travel the lifelong journey with His Word.

Daily He loads us with Benefits. His Mercy Renews Each Day.

Abba, Holy God our Father,

Please Dwell in us and those You've Given us.

We all have had overwhelming new items to think upon.

In Pandemic, we have seen families change shape - our most trusted patterns where we rely on each other and are fueled in "Love Ourselves". And some families have suffered deep losses.

Grocery shopping and errands became much more complex in the last two years.

Disappointments touching on the basic belief in safety,

we have felt such comfort all our lives in the basic need for safety.

Never did we believe our right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness would be infringed.

We have seen the Media ridiculed time and again.

We have lived isolation and boredom. People weep. People are easily angered.

We want our laws and judicial system to be safe and fair.

Domestic Tranquility.

We are tired of argumentative, misinformation criticism.

As a Nation, for our Nation's children during this unprecedented time. 

Thanking You, Father, the Virus does not target the very young.

We pray for our school.s

And we pray for safety and the power grids and weather in the coming winter.

Father, You are Working.

We function in Straight Paths. And in watching You Fight the Good Fight, we find our Comfort, Help and Strength. To live in affection and Love brings us faith, hope and Love.

You are The Good Father asking us

to Love ourselves. To have a Spirit of Power.

To Love others.

Comforted and Strengthened we will find Solutions

and Greater Joys.

Abundant Love flowing down. Soaking us all

His Living Water flows.

Opening our doors with expectation of Your Continued Goodness

in ourselves, in the ones we Love,

Jesus Christ in the people You bring us.

We pray for the safety of

our Schools to be a safe, good,

warm place for the Children

Children need their Schools.

We uphold them with our Love and Prayers.

We ask Your Mighty Word

Finding Your Blessing and Word of Love.

Blessing our Nation, blessing us.

Ending our Divisions.

Jesus help us in this Nation to be in Your Word and see more Joy.

John 1:1-18 ~ in Him was life

 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. 15 (John bore witness about him, and cried out, “This was he of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me ranks before me, because he was before me.’”) 16

And from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has ever seen God; the only God, [the only One, who is God; the only Son] who is at the Father's side, [in the bosom of the Father] he has made him known.

  Let me read John 1 even on a cloudy day - I am lifted instantaneously and perceptibly. My favorite chapter. Light in the darkness. Witness to the light. Born of God. All who have received, who believed. We have seen His glory. And from His fullness we have all received grace upon grace. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Chose to dwell among us! Chose to. He has made Him known.


Love still conquers all. We wonder if tough stances and harsh words with selfish interests win. And we find Love will carry us through almost all times and seasons. The Light does shine in the darkness and the darkness has not understood.

Billie Graham made this understood by a single candle held up for all in a huge football stadium to see. The place was Dallas, Texas and the light carried on to Alabama - to disperse violence and cause Love. The Life in Jesus never stops and never quits healing.

Abba, Father God,

The blessings of Jesus Christ dwell in  our heart richly. 

Provide us with His love, His grace, His enduring Love. 

May our lives be blessed by Him each day, dwell on His love. 

In the grace and fullness of Jesus Christ. Amen.
