Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
Most people wonder after their parent passes on, what is going on in Heaven? What are they seeing. What is said to them. Have they met other loved people. What is God going to say about this time or that time? What are the odds on, for me?
Proverbs 11:19
Genuine righteousness leads to life, but the pursuit of evil brings death.
Matthew 19:16-17
16 Just then a man came up to Jesus and inquired, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to obtain eternal life?” 17 “Why do you ask Me about what is good?”
Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.”
No one is good enough. The Pharisee or the humble. We all have worries about one another. This is to put the concerns at ease. Even for ourselves, to be able to renew and encourage each other and ourselves.
1 Corinthians 2:9
But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”—
John 14:2
In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?

Baptism is one of the signs of Life
Giving Baptism to ourselves, our children and grandchildren is something Jesus says is important.
1 Peter 3:21
And this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also – not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 4:5
One Lord, one faith, one baptism

This is the one who came by water and blood – Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.
Acts 4:12

Ask for Heaven and Salvation

Many times with the elderly, we see Grace to pass on.
And sometimes we see faith struggle as the body ages and abilities are not there. It's fine to encourage each other without putting anyone down. To broaden the conversation to be loving and merciful.
Titus 3:5
He saved us,
not because of righteous things we had done,
but because of His mercy.
He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit
So that you may know the certainty of the things you have been taught.

In His great mercy
He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ

When Luke wrote, God would visit us like the Sun from on high, He meant so many things. Today, we glimpse Heaven. And seeing what Jesus does, we remember to want His Eternal Kingdom. And the people in Heaven are seeing the Word of God Manifest.
Abba, Father,
God's Good Creation.
Dwell in me
Help me to seek You first
We want to see more Heaven on earth
Help the people I love, by Dwelling in them
And we will finish well in You.
Exodus 33
Moses asked: If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways so I may know you and continue to find favor with you. Remember that this nation is your people.”

and I will give you rest.”
Jesus our Living Water
Let Jesus roll down like
cleansing waters,
and righteousness
like an ever-flowing stream.
And we will be blessed indeed.
