Daniel 1:9
And God gave Daniel favor and compassion in the sight of the chief
During the Pandemic,
we were making Jesus our Chief
and Believing Him.
We are enduring this Season
with some wear on us.
God is not enduring us.
God is delighted with our Prayers.
The Word of God assures us, God sees us
exactly as we are
and
finds us Welcome with Him
in Jesus Christ in our Hearts.
Deuteronomy 30:6
The Lord your God will change your heart and the hearts of all your descendants,
so that you will love Him with all your heart and soul and so you may live!
One thing we can say about this Unprecedented Lent.
This highly thought about Life - Season. Not since the last true plague, and World War, has the world thought so much about God, Prayer, Freedom and Obligation.
As we ended the Pandemic quarantine, 80% of the United States said they consider their prayer life to bring them closer to knowing God loves them and answers prayers.
And like this Amazing Pandemic: Politics, Stock Market, Job Market, Longing to return to work, last December a vast number of workers quit to change jobs, Church Attendance, Vaccination acceptance and Blue Skies, we have seen change.
Conservative News organizations are reporting people are calling in to ask,
"Where is God?"
The answer has certainty. God is doing His Work.
We are in the journey.
Psalm 33:15
He made their hearts, so he understands everything they do.
The Maker of hearts also knows how to remake hearts.
Lent isn't a World Observed Season. Preparing for Easter.
This season we see cruel punishment and harsh circumstance and dictated governing. And suddenly the Message of the Cross during the Life of Jesus has our attention. God understands suffering and has chosen to know Life very well and personally. Jesus, we proclaimed, as the Pandemic began, was speaking to us. Faith has to be unseen, to be faith.
What do we have in common for the Pandemic?
Bloom where you are planted, witnessed by the housing market where we all want to stay home, even today.
And we seem to be stuck in a rut, yet we just did agree God is at work. So what are we planting this Lent? How are we free? What is our opportunity in this freedom?
Romans 8
1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
2 For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set you free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the flesh,
God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful man,
as an offering for sin.
We have seen an opportunity. A time when we can find questions and God answering.
The Pandemic had the world asking about EQUALITY.
Since the 60s we have been singing about Freedom.
And then the Law and Lawgivers, were not what we, as a culture, wanted.
An Answer was given to the results of No Law.
Crime. We were given the freedom to protest
and the freedom to have a truthful answer.
Pandemic is also a Vast Answer about Equality.
God has put us all in the same boat.
And said, "Equal."
God has answered what He thinks about Equality.
This has been a time of exploring Freedom.
God is working.
What Scripture will we use?
The Prodigal Son. The Father was living what he had hoped not to. And the situation
was given to him. By those surrounding him.
Where is this
Freedom for Ukraine?
God has answered with an Opportunity of Prayer. You might say well, big deal. More of
life is about the circumstances so large, God has given the circumstances. Life rains on the Just and the unjust. The experience of the Prodigal Son prepares him for Heaven. And the Prodigal Son's Father.
Poland and others are opening their borders.
The Poland train stations have people offering
Rooms.
Rides.
Help.
The opportunity for Ukraine to have freedom is oppressed
and the human heart is working worldwide
to try. To pray. Weep. To hope.
Offer help.
Scripture to compare?
When Jesus died on Good Friday, He had a multitude of women
to weep for Him.
Freedom? Buy you never wanted to defund the police
or see burning cities! This Pandemic thing just isn't your ideal.
If we all want the same thing, we aren't really exploring.
There is no real growth. If the Prodigal Son's Father
got what he wanted, the Prodigal Son would have
been no more than a slave.
We had the freedom of diversity
and the answer is arriving in the understanding of unity.
Truths loudly examined. Worldwide.
Scripture Verse:
Onesimus was the slave Paul fought for. And in fighting for the slave, Paul was placed in peril.
Computers operate with binary systems of 1 and 2.
Or we could call that yes and no.
If we impose the "My Cousin Vinnie" speech about
'the way all our little ol' ancestors did things',
we haven't really given everyone a seat at the same table.
In the same way, setting fire to a city isn't
to be desired as well. Or shaming children or labeling
who should experience shame.
The Pandemic is teaching us
a God Lesson.
United, we will rise together.
Otherwise, United Airlines is going to have fist fights.
An ability to fly privately, isn't going to heal a Pandemic.
God is really teaching us
about my inclusion and your inclusion.
What better than a quote from Nelson Mandela.
God invites us all to His Table.
1 Corinthians 11
20 Now then, when you come together, it is not the Lord’s Supper you eat. 21For as you eat, each of you goes ahead without sharing his meal.
While one remains hungry, another gets drunk.
And in the imbalance of the world
we say, "I will take yours."
Even if it is the ability to have politeness.
Ukraine is a symptom of the power struggles
we see erupting everywhere.
How have we used our Preparedness for this in
our own lives?
Relevant to pandemics: work on navigating threats, social and cultural influences on behavior, science communication, moral decision-making, leadership, and stress and coping.
Our schools have shown more upheaval at increasing measures for ....
a literal lifetime.
Our crime had been down.
Our hopes had been seen in divorce numbers. Without revealing, college educated people are 2/3rds more likely to only die and not divorce. And the national average of number of friends is "Two friends per person." And a lot of I'm fine, faking it till I make it. But I'm ok, but
you are not ok. The increase in suicides as the National Death rate from 13 to 9.
Breast Cancer has been 2 women out of 9, if you look at people who live to be 100.
We have not been getting the full story for some time. But we had a lot more zombie movies!
Ephesians 4:32
Be kind to one another, tenderhearted,
forgiving one another,
as God in Christ forgave you
We had an idea something was slipping. How will we fix the imbalance. Only God remakes hearts. This is a work of Salvation. Yet, God has an idea for us to heal as Nations, Communities to Cities, States next to States, Cities to rural counties. Red or Blue.
Ephesians 4
ALL
One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God
and Father of us all,
who is above all
and through all
and in all.
And his gifts were that some should be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ
15 Rather, speaking the truth
in love,
we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ,
16 from
whom the whole body, joined and knit together by every joint
with which it is supplied,
when each part is working properly,
makes bodily growth
and upbuilds itself in
LOVE.
We can say, "Where is God?"
Yet, we know the answer.
If we could see how Jesus, His Mother and Brothers would do this?
James 1:27
Pure and undefiled religion before the God and Father is this:
to visit orphans and widows in their tribulation;
to keep oneself unstained from the world.
We could be so far removed from the world we do ...
this...
Do this not like Beckham Brings This, instead:
Do this like... Dorcas.
Bring Heart and Goodness to the people you have the ability to care for. The People God has Given You. The People placed in your life.
And do all the good works of fellowship and faith put together! Calling us out of Darkness
and Into His Good Light!!!!!
Why would we want to? The Strength to go on, the Hope of Try, the sheer Glory of Try with Jesus! The Belief our Prayers are heard - is the Holy Spirit within in us. We won't quit our Faith in Jesus. We will gather in Prayer and Go Forth. Finding out how to Live "Give us This Day."
And we will be Strong with some glimpse of Joy. When we look with Gratitude.
Abba, Father,
How do we pray with such joy and expectation?
Jesus told us to Pray and always have Hope.
Father, dwell in us, please help us to found Joyful to You.
Help us to seek You first.
Bless those I love and the People You've given me
to have You dwell in us all and Help us all Seek You First.
Strong in Jesus Christ.
Father, it is in the heart, mind and soul of all of our prayers
Your Kingdom is seen more and more on this earth.
We pray Thank You and Gratitude for the birds who were ill in 11 of the United States
to end the illness of Covid and join in this like the bird recovery.
Jesus has said to me and to you, "Pray for more of God's Good Kingdom
to be done on earth as in Heaven."
What astonishing Good Fortune!
How Blessed we are to Serve the God of Love.
Love God, Love His Creation, Ask for This Marvelous Help!
Pray with Hope, Expect You to be Pleased and Thrilled
and filled with Love at this Prayer.
And in the Power and Glory of the Highest Name of Jesus,
we will begin to look and see more of God's Heaven on this earth.
May God Bless Edward, our family,
The Bible is being Incredibly Read These Years
Have All Hope.
Lift again tired dog path knees and straighten again
Hebrews 12:11-15
11 For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant,
but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness
to those who have been trained by it.
Therefore lift
your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees,
and make straight paths for your feet,
so that what is lame may not be put out of joint
but
rather
be healed!
14 Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
15 See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God;
that no “root of bitterness” springs up and causes trouble,
and by it many become defiled.
Psalm 134
A Song of Ascents.
Come, bless the Lord, all you servants of the Lord,
who stand by night in the house of the Lord!
2 Lift up your hands to the holy place
and bless the Lord!
3 May the Lord bless you from Zion,
he who made heaven and earth!
Psalm 102
He looked down from His holy height;
from heaven the Lord looked at the earth,
20 to hear the groans of the prisoners,
to set free those who were doomed to die,
21 that they may declare in Zion the name of the Lord,
and in Jerusalem his praise,
22 when peoples gather together,
and kingdoms, to worship the Lord.
Of old you laid the foundation of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of your hands.
26 They will perish, but you will remain;
they will all wear out like a garment.
You will change them like a robe, and they will pass away,
27 but you are the same, and your years have no end.
28 The children of your servants shall dwell secure;
their offspring shall be established before you.
Psalm 111
2 Great are the works of the Lord,
studied by all who delight in them.
3 Full of splendor and majesty is his work,
and his righteousness endures forever.
4 He has caused his wondrous works to be remembered;
the Lord is gracious and merciful.
5 He provides food for those who fear him;
he remembers his covenant forever.
6 He has shown his people the power of his works,
in giving them the inheritance of the nations.
7 The works of his hands are faithful and just;
all his precepts are trustworthy;
8 they are established forever and ever,
to be performed with faithfulness and uprightness.
9 He sent redemption to his people;
he has commanded his covenant forever.
Holy and awesome is his name!
