Psalm 103
1 Praise the LORD,
O my soul;
all
my inmost being,
Praise His Holy Name.
2 Praise the LORD, O my soul,
and
forget not all His benefits-
3 Who forgives all your sins
and
heals all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you
with love and compassion,
5 Who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed
like the eagle's.
6 The LORD works righteousness
and
justice for
all
the oppressed.
7 He made known His ways to Moses,
His deeds to the people of Israel:
8 The LORD is compassionate
and gracious,
slow to anger,
abounding in love.
9 He will not always accuse,
nor will He harbor His anger forever;
10 He does not treat us as our sins deserve
or repay us
according to our iniquities.
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great
is His Love
for those who fear Him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far
has He removed our transgressions
from us.
13 As a father has compassion
on His children,
so the LORD has compassion
on those who fear Him;
14 for He knows
how we are formed,
He remembers
that we are dust.
15 As for man, his days are like grass,
he flourishes like a flower of the field;
16 the wind blows over it and it is gone,
and its place remembers it no more.
17 But from everlasting to everlasting
the LORD's love
is
with those who fear Him,
and His righteousness
with their children's children -
18 with those who keep
His covenant
and remember to obey His precepts.
19 The LORD has established His Throne
in Heaven,
and His Kingdom
rules over
all.
20 Praise the LORD,
you
His angels,
you mighty ones
who do His bidding,
who obey
His Word.
21 Praise the LORD,
all
His Heavenly Hosts,
you
His servants who do His Will.
22 Praise the LORD,
all
His Works
everywhere - in His Dominion.
Praise the LORD,
O
my soul.
Isaiah 45:23
By Myself I have sworn;
from My mouth has gone out in Righteousness
a Word that shall not return:
‘To Me every knee shall bow,
every tongue shall swear allegiance.’
Philippians 2:10
At the Name of Jesus
every knee should bow,
in Heaven and on earth and under the earth
Romans 14:11
For it is written,
“As I live,
says the Lord,
every knee shall bow to Me,
and every tongue shall confess to God.”
When we think of Treasure in Heaven. We know we will see our loved ones. And even the old generations and their views of what Heaven would look like and the Lord's views as Ancient of Days.
When we read The Book of Revelation, we can even picture Heaven infolding our present day with Lights and Sounds.
Matthew 3:16-17
As soon as Jesus was baptized,
He went up out of the water.
At that moment, Heaven was opened,
and
He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove
and alighting on Him.
17 And a Voice from Heaven said,
“This is my Son, Whom I Love;
with Him
I am well pleased.”
And, when God describes, Heaven arrives in our passing like the sound of a trumpet, just maybe, our arrival in Heaven is like the Baptism of Jesus Christ. Well done, good and faithful. Servant. Beloved. Friend. Child of God.
The aspect of Heaven we rarely consider, God describes the clouds of Heaven, His Kingdom, often. And we find the Birth of Jesus tells us All the Heavenly Host Multitude attended His Birth. We will arrive to see and meet, the Heavenly Host our Father calls by Name.
As we read Revelation 1, John says about 60 years after he had been an eyewitness to Jesus' death and then, Resurrection, one Sunday, the Patmos cave walls disappeared and
he was before Jesus in His Kingdom.
The tomb was a cave.
John describes being overcome, overwhelmed by the Light coming from Jesus Christ, Himself. In His Kingdom.
John's Patmos cave was gone. And he stood, seeing Heaven.
2 Timothy 1:10
It has now been revealed
through the appearing of our Savior,
Christ Jesus,
Who has destroyed death
and
has brought life
and
immortality to Light
through the Gospel.
Perhaps we are really discovering, to the Lord, the earth and the fullness of the Lord is not far to Him. We live in the midst of Eternity and do not know.
The puzzle isn't that suddenly Heaven appears, but the puzzle is, we are not seeing Heaven existing all around us.
The Heavenly Jerusalem appears suddenly.
Abba, Father,
Where is our Joy? The adventure of what You have brought us through.
You have been steadfast.
How many things have we overcome? Many.
You are Strong, Lord.
Make us strong again in Your Might.
Let us hold up our Problems to You.
You are our armor, strength and shield.
The Armor of God cannot be removed. You are our fortress.
In the fortress of God, we will see the mercies of God renew.
If we don't count the blessings - they fly by unappreciated.
Jesus is compassionate and merciful.
Our advocate.
You will call us to defend our hopes with gentleness and respect
but our defense in You is sure.
God will call me to do what He strengthens me to do.
We ask healing
of Your Good Creation
The fullness of the earth is Yours.
The healing of those we pray for
in our heart and soul.
in our heart and soul.
The safety of Your people.
Let evil and practicing evil
depart far from us
and our children.
The Healing
of the Nation.
Wholeness
Holy.
Goodness.
Dwell in us, Father,
Dwell fully in those we love,
Help us to seek You first
and we will finish well in Jesus Christ.
I trust in Jesus,
our Strong Deliverer.
Amen.
