Proverbs 4:20-27 ~ Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.

11QShirShabb Dead Sea Scroll, Cave 11

What song have you been singing in your cave? Your mind cave. Far more often found than a man cave.

These are the Essenes finding a Prophetic moment presenting13 Songs Sung to Father God and Jesus in their Heavenly Kingdom.

The Songs of the Sabbath Sacrifice, also referred to as the Angelic Liturgy, are a series of thirteen songs, one for each of the first thirteen Sabbaths of the year, contained in fragments found among the Dead Sea Scrolls. The Songs were found in 10 fragmentary copies: nine at Qumran (4Q400–407;

Cave 4, ie 4Q400-407

Cave 4

11Q17) and one at Masada. The dating is thought to have be  100 BC.

Although nine copies were found at Qumran, the scroll is not generally believed to be a sectarian document. The common sectarian language normally found in the scrolls (such as references to laws applying to the Yahad) is not present in the songs. In fact a copy of the songs  found at Masada suggest to be a widely circulated text and may imply the scrolls were used by other communities; which negates the likelihood of this text being composed at Qumran. The songs also use Elohim to refer to God, and the use of that word is extremely rare throughout the other scrolls thought to be sectarian in origin.

The Songs describe worship around the throne of God in the heavenly realms.

Proverbs 4:20-27

20 My son, be attentive to my words;

incline your ear to my sayings.

21 Let them not escape from your sight;

keep them within your heart.

22 For they are life to those who find them,

and healing to all their flesh.

23 Keep your heart with all vigilance,

for from it flow the springs of life.

24 Put away from you crooked speech,

and put devious talk far from you.

25 Let your eyes look directly forward,

and your gaze be straight before you.

26 Ponder the path of your feet;

then all your ways will be sure.

27 Do not swerve to the right or to the left;

turn your foot away from evil.

Mind songs. When the dog bites, when the bee stings, when I'm feeling sad, simply remember my favorite things, And then I don't feel so bad.

I wondered today when I'd see the Mercies of God renew - today. About 4:30 the road was sunny and strangely empty. Life felt as if it was a pandemic. And the Italy of my childhood was in terrible trouble having the Northern Italians board trains to flee to Southern Italy about February 27, 2020. The news was announcing the flight from Large Cities in the USA. And I felt very forlorn.

And as I spoke to our oldest son in Michigan, I remember the calm of being younger during Sars 2003. I heard the strength in his voice and we spoke of weeks from now. And I realized the Mercies of God renew each day. Usually in the morning.

God Promises. God does not lie.

We need to find our favorite Promises of God and Hold Tightly.

12 Promises of God. Please feel free to search God's Word where your heart is warmed.

Jeremiah 24:6
I will set my eyes on them for good, and I will bring them back to this land.
I will build them up, and not tear them down;
I will plant them, and not pluck them up.

2 Kings 20:5
This is what the Lord, the God of your ancestor David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears. I will heal you.

Romans 8:28
And we know that for those who love God, He will interweave all things to work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.

John 1:1,14
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Just as John, the Beloved Disciple always began at the beginning, so do the Essenes love Genesis!

1 Peter 1:25
And the word of our God stands for eternities. And this is that word by which you have been evangelized.

Galatians 6:7
Do not be deceived; God is not mocked. For whatever one sows, he also will reap.

1 Peter 1:25
THE WORD OF THE LORD ABIDES FOREVER. ”And this is the word which was preached to you."

Psalm 91
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”

3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.

Yes, sometimes one verse, promise carries forth to the entire series. No one believes God is stingy with His Word! We will carry forth as if Paul speaking to you teach us, Eutychus.

Proverbs 16:3
Commit your work to the Lord and your plans will succeed.

Proverbs 1:33
All who listen to me will live in peace, untroubled by fear of harm.

2 Chronicles 16:9
The eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.

John 14:13-14
Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. “If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.”

Abba,
We thank You for the miracles and answered Prayers You have given us.

And in these unprecedented weeks, we ask the virus to go no further, to end. And health for this planet, on earth as it is in Heaven, to give You Glory for Your Joy.

We ask to Live finding You first and Your Kingdom. To Live in Love, Joy and Peace. In Jesus Christ for us all, Amen.

Psalm 20:4-5
May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the LORD grant all your requests.

Numbers 6:24-27 ~ The Lord Give us Peace †

Compline or Night Prayer

Numbers 6:24-27

24 The Lord bless you and keep you;
25 The Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
26 The Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.

27 “So shall they put my name upon the people of Israel, and I will bless them.”

When The Lord cured His People, surely they were cured forever. Why wouldn't Jesus
answer prayers covering decades, generations, and even to eternity? What pleases God is within His Authority.

In 2008, Hurricane Ike was filling the Entire Gulf of Mexico. It looked horrific and we began to get phone calls to relocate.

My friends Dee and Cindy came over and we prayed for more than an hour for our unborn daughter, Isabelle, and to shelter in place safely. We specifically prayed, I remember so well, for the trees not to strike our houses. We prayed we could continue to shelter in place with intact houses and the trees to leave our houses alone.

Cindy's house lost the staircase to their  apartment above their detached garage. Dee didn't have much damage. We had a fully blown tornado, it skipped from the first and third house on the street going far down the street to our house.  Edward was in the attic putting up pans because - oddly - the roof had started to leak and the noise was 'incredible'. One hundred year old Oak went East. And one Shumard Oak was twisted in half and was thrown North.

Last year in 2019, Dee lost her gigantic Oak. This was very close to her house. The Tree fell Mother's Day Weekend as they were trying to go to their Grandchild's College Graduation. And the tree fell over their driveway, not touching the house.

The first week in August, 2019,  Edward and I were coming home from Biloxi, and we discussed watching the footage of Hurricane Katrina forcing all the giant Magnolia's around the Beaux Rivage to fall over. The relentless storm.   We arrived home about 4 in the afternoon and, suddenly, as storm arrived, I opened the windows. Incredibly, the dogs and I were Running Full Speed to hide behind the Kitchen Cabinets - away from the den windows. Windsheer pushed the Magnolia perfectly over. Avoiding the pool and the house. Not even a sprinkler was broken. (The Viburnum eventually lost one trunk of the 10 trunks.) Not even the flowers were damaged or the glass garden stakes. The rain didn't even last an hour.

Jesus is Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.  Why wouldn't His Word of Answered Prayer continue?

Polio. The first epidemic of Polio began in the first 50 years of the 20th century. Some Polio here and there.

In children, paralysis due to polio occurs in one in 1000 cases, while in adults, paralysis occurs in one in 75 cases. By 1950, the peak age incidence of paralytic poliomyelitis in the United States had shifted from infants to children aged 5 to 9 years; about one-third of the cases were reported in persons over 15 years of age. Accordingly, the rate of paralysis and death due to polio infection also increased during this time. In the United States, the 1952 polio epidemic was the worst outbreak in the nation's history, and is credited with heightening parents’ fears of the disease and focusing public awareness on the need for a vaccine. Of the 57,628 cases reported that year 3,145 died and 21,269 were left with mild to disabling paralysis. A very high ratio of harm.  Better hygiene meant that infants and young children had fewer opportunities to encounter and develop immunity to polio. Exposure to poliovirus was therefore delayed until late childhood or adult life, when it was more likely to take the paralytic form.

Prayer. Answer: Miraculous unexplained Salk Vaccine.

I spoke with a medical person today and learned children would be studied to find why they have such resilience to Covid 19. Perhaps it's because most common colds are Covid virus based. This Covid 19 throws the immune response into overdrive.

But the bottom line was - illnesses usually affect the young. No other illness was recalled not taking the young.

I believe it's possible all the despairing prayers of parents are in God's Consideration in this era.

To know the Scriptures is to know the Power of God.

When the Healing Powers of God are at work, God is present.

John 5

2 Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, in Aramaic called Bethesda, which has five roofed colonnades.

3 In these lay a multitude of invalids—blind, lame, and paralyzed. 5 One man was there who had been an invalid for thirty-eight years.

6 When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had already been there a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be healed?”

7 The sick man answered him, “Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, and while I am going another steps down before me.”

8 Jesus said to him, “Get up, take up your bed, and walk.”

9 And at once the man was healed, and he took up his bed and walked.

Abba, our Father,

When the waters of Your Might are stirred, we will certainly Pray.

You, The Lord God Almighty blesses us and keeps us.
You have heard our prayers about the safety of our children and prevailed to give us a Vaccine. Specifically for the generation so afflicted in this Covid 19 Virus.

You are our Lord Father God, Creator of All, has indeed made Your face to shine upon us in peril and You have been our Father gracious to us.

You have given Your Word as Jesus told us to pray:

Luke 18:6
6 And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge says. 7 And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them? 8 I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily.

26 The Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
We believe You have all authority in Your Love and Word, Father God. Please stop this Virus Covid 19.

27 “So shall they put my name upon the people of Israel, and I will bless them.”
The Name above all Names, Jesus.

In the Righteousness of Jesus we pray this:

Sirach 35:12-18a

12 Do not offer him a bribe, for he will not accept it;
and do not trust to an unrighteous sacrifice;
for the Lord is the judge,
and with him is no partiality.

13 He will not show partiality in the case of a poor man;
and he will listen to the prayer of one who is wronged.

14 He will not ignore the supplication of the fatherless,
nor the widow when she pours out her story.

15 Do not the tears of the widow run down her cheek
as she cries out against him who has caused them to fall?

16 He whose service is pleasing to the Lord will be accepted,
and his prayer will reach to the clouds.

17 The prayer of the humble pierces the clouds,
and he will not be consoled until it reaches the Lord;
he will not desist until the Most High visits him,
and does justice for the righteous, and executes judgment.

18 And the Lord will not delay

Jesus told His Brother James, a man known to fall short of the Glory of God, as we are short of Your Glory:

The prayers of a righteous man availeth much. We cover ourselves in the Name of Jesus
to pray the good health of those we Love. We pray for the places we know and for this Nation.
Continuing the Grace and Mercy of Jesus to all Your Good Creation.

We ask in the Grace upon Grace of Christ Jesus our Lord, Amen.

Romans 12:4-10 ~ Genuine Love

4 For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, 5 so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. 6 Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; 7if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; 8 the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads,f with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.

9 Let love be genuine.

Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.

10 Love one another with brotherly affection.

Outdo one another in showing honor.

Ah the Good Days. Will arrive again. Even if this is "Easter Ham at Home" Year.

Today, I feel far less blue. It's due to walking a fair distance. I believe our God given Grace to be able to get out and breathe and see the sky, is life changing. To sit, hunkered down, is to feel afflicted.

Please be so cautious as you drive. We've seen 6 vague drivers and one ran a red light to put both hands up in the air in utter alarm to find they'd run a red light. One crossed 3 lanes of traffic, thinking no one was on the road. One crossed two lanes and drove on the wrong side of the road after turning, causing a car to slam on the brakes. Wild parking lot slow speed unobservant.

We have seen we are recorded as spending 39 minutes a day talking to the people we love. This would be opportunity. The opportunity to serve others, even if it's sitting on the couch (and praying, why not).

We have been given an opportunity to look at each other with new eyes. And realize we hold those we love dearly.

To find what our blessing is today. And trust. We all feel afraid to a certain degree. When we look at our history, we find so many difficult situations. Most things work out slowly and steadily with a Hope God will help us.

So many people in the USA, and in other countries, live within two paychecks. For the security of all nations, Mercy must be shown. To endanger employment for all is to cripple the solutions. I'd pray and hope we know we are all in the same boat, large and small. In the United States Great Depression, not just the small were hurt in financial upheaval. We have models for recovery - the lenience and mercy of the Light of Christ in mankind. United  we rise in mercy for one another.

We can see this illness has uniquely spared the young. Mercy has been granted. We pray the older generations will be able to carry this forth in mortgages and business loans and utilities. Recovery will be swift with mercy for one another.

Today is this day. We will be grateful for one another. We will remember self quarantine is our oddly sit on the sofa heroism. And see the trucks are still bringing the food and necessities we have for life.

Abba,

Blessed are the merciful, they will receive mercy.

You have enabled mercy to be within our reach for all of us.

In Hurricane areas, we have seen this come and go. We are prepared. In Dallas, the tornado horror is being rebuilt. God won't let go.

God Bless the Medical Staff and All Medical People. Here in Houston, one hospital is opening the Chapel Doors to Pray Psalm 91. And each day the numbers increase - those who pray together. The reporting nurse had a wavering voice to say they care so much for their families, but want to be a place of healing for all. My G P says many people are at home not feeling well, and the medical community thinks they have mild Covid 19 and will recovery swiftly. Our radio prays the Virus to be knocked down and the replicating portion destroyed. Amen Amen Amen.

God Bless the people out in the world doing the social distancing jobs we need to have going for our functioning.

God Bless the worryiers, the Disciples never were fired. God Bless the faces that are braver. God Bless the people clearly struggling as they work and drive.

God Bless the Government Officials working long hours with a trauma no one would ever hope to see.

God Bless we all believe this will find a cure and a Hope, a Way and a Future in Jesus Christ.

God Bless our freedoms to Pray. God Bless our Prayers. God Bless to increase our Mercy. God Bless us all to realize the joy of not having Child Loss.

To Live to Search for You, to Seek Your Kingdom, Live Love, Peace and Joy.

In Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Lord bless us we ask for:

Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control over fear.

The Lord keep us!

Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him.

When we pray, we ask our Father for what we need. We miss our normal lives. We bless You for a time to be family. We bless You for our awareness of the fragility of life and care of those we love. We care for one another, realizing the people You have given us.

Our Father God make His face to shine upon us, please.

Having determination seeing His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. God's Glory our grace and truth.

Be conscientious shining in speech. Being a Blessing. Thanksgiving. Remembering to thank God for His Blessings. God interweaving all things for good for those who Love the Lord and work according to His Purpose.

The Lord, our Father, be gracious to us.

We confidently draw near to the Throne of Grace, receiving mercy and finding grace helping in time of need.

The Lord lift up His countenance upon us. And smile.

Bless us, Your Disciples walk with awe, Lord Jesus.You cover us with favor as with a shield.

Father God please give us Your Peace and we know Scripture and Your Power. You fed the fearful Disciples breakfast. Your Peace in Your time.

Put the Name of Your Son Jesus upon us and we are blessed.

Praying for Elliott, Jim and Dee and my eyes, their continued healing and thanksgiving for the Healing You've Given.

Blessed.

Jesus Christ interweaving all things for Good. Giving us the work of mankind to Believe Jesus. Finding His mercy renews every day. Praying as You've Delighted. Please end the Virus and help financial mercy upon us all to Heal. One showing mercy to the next.

Your Mercy Lord Father God!

In Jesus Christ, we remain and pray, Amen.

Psalm 68 ~ He is the one who gives power and strength to his people. Blessed be God!

Compline or Night Prayer

Psalm 68

A Psalm of David. A Song.

God shall arise, his enemies shall be scattered;
and those who hate him shall flee before him!
2 As smoke is driven away, so you shall drive them away;
as wax melts before fire,
so the wicked shall perish before God!
3 But the righteous shall be glad;
they shall exult before God;
they shall be jubilant with joy!

4 Sing to God, sing praises to his name;
lift up a song to him who rides through the deserts;
his name is the Lord;
exult before him!

5 Father of the fatherless and protector of widows
is God in his holy habitation.
6 God settles the solitary in a home;
he leads out the prisoners to prosperity,
but the rebellious dwell in a parched land.

7 O God, when you went out before your people,
when you marched through the wilderness, Selah
8 the earth quaked, the heavens poured down rain,
before God, the One of Sinai,
before God, the God of Israel.
9 Rain in abundance, O God, you shed abroad;
you restored your inheritance as it languished;
10 your flock found a dwelling in it;
in your goodness, O God, you provided for the needy.

11 The Lord gives the word;
the women who announce the news are a great host:
12 “The kings of the armies—they flee, they flee!”
The women at home divide the spoil—
13 though you men lie among the sheepfolds—
the wings of a dove covered with silver,
its pinions with shimmering gold.
14 When the Almighty scatters kings there,
let snow fall on Zalmon.

15 O mountain of God, mountain of Bashan;
O many-peaked mountain, mountain of Bashan!
16 Why do you look with hatred, O many-peaked mountain,
at the mount that God desired for his abode,
yes, where the Lord will dwell forever?
17 The chariots of God are twice ten thousand,
thousands upon thousands;
the Lord is among them; Sinai is now in the sanctuary.

18 You ascended on high,
leading a host of captives in your train
and receiving gifts among men,
even among the rebellious, that the Lord God may dwell there.

19 Blessed be the Lord,
who daily bears us up;
God is our salvation. Selah

20 Our God is a God of salvation,
and to God, the Lord, belong deliverances from death.
21 But God will strike the heads of his enemies,
the hairy crown of him who walks in his guilty ways.
22 The Lord said,
“I will bring them back from Bashan,
I will bring them back from the depths of the sea,
23 that you may strike your feet in their blood,
that the tongues of your dogs may have their portion from the foe.”

24 Your procession is seen, O God,
the procession of my God, my King, into the sanctuary—
25 the singers in front, the musicians last,
between them virgins playing tambourines:
26 “Bless God in the great congregation,
the Lord, O you who are of Israel's fountain!”
27 There is Benjamin, the least of them, in the lead,
the princes of Judah in their throng,
the princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.

28 Summon your power, O God,
the power, O God, by which you have worked for us.
29 Because of your temple at Jerusalem
kings shall bear gifts to you.
30 Rebuke the beasts that dwell among the reeds,
the herd of bulls with the calves of the peoples.
Trample underfoot those who lust after tribute;
scatter the peoples who delight in war.
31 Nobles shall come from Egypt;
Cush shall hasten to stretch out her hands to God.

32 O kingdoms of the earth, sing to God;
sing praises to the Lord, Selah
33 to him who rides in the heavens, the ancient heavens;
behold, he sends out his voice, his mighty voice.

34 Ascribe power to God,
whose majesty is over Israel,
and whose power is in the skies.
35 Awesome is God from his sanctuary;
the God of Israel—he is the one who gives power and strength to his people.
Blessed be God!

David witnessed amazing things from God.

1 Chronicles 21:14-30

14 So the Lord sent a pestilence on Israel, and 70,000 men of Israel fell. 15 And God sent the angel to Jerusalem to destroy it, but as he was about to destroy it, the Lord saw, and he relented from the calamity. And he said to the angel who was working destruction, “It is enough; now stay your hand.” And the angel of the Lord was standing by the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite. 16 And David lifted his eyes and saw the angel of the Lord standing between earth and heaven, and in his hand a drawn sword stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders, clothed in sackcloth, fell upon their faces. 17 And David said to God, “Was it not I who gave command to number the people? It is I who have sinned and done great evil. But these sheep, what have they done? Please let your hand, O Lord my God, be against me and against my father's house. But do not let the plague be on your people.”

18 Now the angel of the Lord had commanded Gad to say to David that David should go up and raise an altar to the Lord on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite. 19 So David went up at Gad's word, which he had spoken in the name of the Lord. 20 Now Ornan was threshing wheat. He turned and saw the angel, and his four sons who were with him hid themselves. 21 As David came to Ornan, Ornan looked and saw David and went out from the threshing floor and paid homage to David with his face to the ground. 22 And David said to Ornan, “Give me the site of the threshing floor that I may build on it an altar to the Lord—give it to me at its full price—that the plague may be averted from the people.” 23 Then Ornan said to David, “Take it, and let my lord the king do what seems good to him. See, I give the oxen for burnt offerings and the threshing sledges for the wood and the wheat for a grain offering; I give it all.” 24 But King David said to Ornan, “No, but I will buy them for the full price. I will not take for the Lord what is yours, nor offer burnt offerings that cost me nothing.” 25 So David paid Ornan 600 shekels of gold by weight for the site. 26 And David built there an altar to the Lord and presented burnt offerings and peace offerings and called on the Lord, and the Lord answered him with fire from heaven upon the altar of burnt offering. 27 Then the Lord commanded the angel, and he put his sword back into its sheath.

28 At that time, when David saw that the Lord had answered him at the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite, he sacrificed there. 29 For the tabernacle of the Lord, which Moses had made in the wilderness, and the altar of burnt offering were at that time in the high place at Gibeon, 30 but David could not go before it to inquire of God, for he was afraid of the sword of the angel of the Lord.

God spoke the Word to Create Life. He began with Light, Jesus Christ. This Life has always been meant to be only part of Eternal Life. Before David could say he saw an Angel, he had gone for many years on faith.

And the ideas David had about faith - were proven to David in this life - God had spoken correctly.

David's life bears witness to the Power and Glory of God.

The Only thing we need now, if for God to Speak Healing. Abraham pleased God by belief.

1 John 5:14-15
And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.

John 15:7
If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish,
and it will be done for you.

David's Palace was specifically located from reading the location in the Bible. And as it was excavated, just as the Bible said, Jeremiah and his servant would be in the palace, years later, in the jail, and the name of Jeremiah's servant was told and the servant's father - the Seal, Bulla, would be found in the precise location with the precise names.

Baruch son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah is mentioned in Jeremiah in the 32, 36, 43 and 45th chapters of Jeremiah and in at least 44 of the verses. Baruch was someone Jeremiah could count in all circumstances. Baruch, his name in Hebrew: בָּרוּךְ ’s means blessed.

When one is blessed of God, one is blessed. Baruch is remembered as well as the most historical figures in history. The most famous of Shiloh’s bullae belonged to Gemaryahu ben Shafan, the King’s scribe and minister at the time of the prophet Jeremiah (Jeremiah 36). Yehuchal is now the second royal minister whose name has appeared on a bulla from the City of David excavations. This came from David's Palace.  Associates for Scriptural Knowledge August 2004

We do well to Trust the Lord.

Abba,

To know the Scriptures is to know the Power of God. Matthew 22:29

We would tell You Thank You in our lives, for the Prayer we know You heard and had pity on us. The ten lepers asked for pity from Jesus and Jesus responded to Love, to Speak and to Heal. We remember You have heard us. Thank You.

Luke 17
15 One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. 16 He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.

Luke 7
Jesus was not far from the house when the centurion sent friends to say to him: “Lord, don’t trouble yourself, for I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. 7 That is why I did not even consider myself worthy to come to you. But say the word, and my servant will be healed. 8 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

9 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed at him, and turning to the crowd following him, he said, “I tell you, I have not found such great faith even in Israel.” 10 Then the men who had been sent returned to the house and found the servant well.

We ask You to speak Healing over the Virus.

We ask in the Name of Jesus, to help us go forth from the Virus, to be Blessed to Live seeking You and Your Kingdom First. To Live in Love, Peace and Joy. We cry out for Your Love and Healing.

Cover the world, Your Good Creation, in Jesus Christ's Love and Name.

Amen.

John 17:1-26 ~ Jesus had spoken these Words

We are at home, mostly, with time on our hands to be Concerned, to brood and to realize the heroic care given to our families and to each other, with concern for the Nation.

We are people going before a problem other nations have also been trembling. We are going before. Standing.

I was Blessed today to watch drone footage of Los Angeles by drone in mandatory stay-at-home. Blessed because YAG Surgery process begun in January, today I've had a 14 year scar in my cornea and today after years of prayer (eyes and livers have self restoration) and eye gel moisturizer and prayer and prayer. And food grade Almond or Avocado extract specifically used on my eye. And prayer to find in 5 years the scar was now a 10% scar. Thank God, Thank God.

And finding this evening I could see the ceiling lights, instead of London Fog, made me realize how blue and sad this time has been for all of us. I can see the colors in the trees. I've missed spring, it was so blah. And now I can see more clearly in this one eye.

Vespers, Evening Prayer

John 17:1-26

When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you, 2 since you have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him. 3 And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. 4 I glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work that you gave me to do. 5 And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed.

6 “I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word. 7 Now they know that everything that you have given me is from you. 8 For I have given them the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you; and they have believed that you sent me. 9 I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours.

10 All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them.
11 And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one. 12 While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. 13 But now I am coming to you, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

14 I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15 I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. 18 As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.

20 “I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, 21 that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.

22 The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, 23 I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me. 24 Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father, even though the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent me. 26 I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.”

We have seen mass shootings and we have given ourselves no credit for Mass Standing for Unity of Safe Living.

We wonder about making a living, we all fully understand.

We wonder if we Pray correctly. I doubt we can pray correctly. Father God carries us in Prayer.

I've cried every day. Why not use the emotional reprieve God gives us.

Let's Pray together.

Abba, our Father,

Who art in heaven,

We ask You as Daddy, Heavenly Daddy, You give profound care if we are worried and so pleased to giving heroism.

Hallowed be thy Name.
Jesus Christ pray for us. We Need You.

Thy Kingdom come.  Thy will be done in earth,  As it is in heaven.
We pray for Italy and all the Nations who need to see You in Healing. Help them, Help us, Please.

Give us this day our daily bread.
We have not actually had to worry about our daily bread in the middle of our Agriculture Nation.
Please Bless, Uphold, Surround and Protect the people bringing us our Mail. Bringing us Clean, Filled Grocery Stores, Gas Stations, and the Fast Food and Food Places still helping us all. Bless the people bringing us our Utilities. The Firemen and Police. Bless the people we are used to seeing every day and miss. Help us live down the fear of questionable supply and remember the people making Life possible Today.

And forgive us our trespasses,
We Thank You for Your Grace upon Grace. We Bless You to save the world in Jesus Christ. Help us not cling to more fear and Bless You for being God of Love. And in Your forgiveness, let us bring more of Jesus as Light of the world as Your Glory.

As we forgive them that trespass against us.
A time of uncertainty, worry and down right fear and we do not control the process of this unusual time.

And lead us not into temptation.
To be pessimistic.

Deliver us from evil.
Please.

For Thine is The Kingdom, The Power, and the Glory,
Thank You for the Glory to live in a time blindness is combatted. Thank You. We want pray as the Scriptures do, to ask to see Your Kingdom, Power and Glory to end the Virus. To recover quickly. To have the opportunity to remember we thrive with Your Love.

Amazing to live in a time from rotary phone, to Light as laser to change an eye. We have the power of technology and vaccination, we Bless Your Help. Thank You.

Forever and ever. In Jesus Christ, Amen.

About scripture-for-today.blogspot.com/

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He has saved all who call upon His name and rely on Him for His Grace. The Scriptures are living & active and are for understanding the Lord Almighty. Biblical readings are chosen from the Ecumenical Christian Church and the Nicene Council, 325 A.D., approved Apocrypha. People remember not just from reading, but by sight and orally- an image has been added as well as audio readings. God tends to link the passages together with fascinates - this blogger, Anne-Laurel Gardere

A simple blog, scripture-for-today.blogspot

This blog is pretty simple, but for a reason. This blog isn't about agenda or me, it is for the joy and love to found by reading the Scriptures. Ultimately, it is you and the Lord.

The Scriptures are Father God's letter to you. He wanted you to know more, to know He loves you.

Thanks for Joining us today!!!

About Me

My photo
Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
