4 For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, 5 so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. 6 Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; 7if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; 8 the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads,f with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.
9 Let love be genuine.
Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.
10 Love one another with brotherly affection.
Outdo one another in showing honor.
Ah the Good Days. Will arrive again. Even if this is "Easter Ham at Home" Year.
Today, I feel far less blue. It's due to walking a fair distance. I believe our God given Grace to be able to get out and breathe and see the sky, is life changing. To sit, hunkered down, is to feel afflicted.
Please be so cautious as you drive. We've seen 6 vague drivers and one ran a red light to put both hands up in the air in utter alarm to find they'd run a red light. One crossed 3 lanes of traffic, thinking no one was on the road. One crossed two lanes and drove on the wrong side of the road after turning, causing a car to slam on the brakes. Wild parking lot slow speed unobservant.
We have seen we are recorded as spending 39 minutes a day talking to the people we love. This would be opportunity. The opportunity to serve others, even if it's sitting on the couch (and praying, why not).
We have been given an opportunity to look at each other with new eyes. And realize we hold those we love dearly.
To find what our blessing is today. And trust. We all feel afraid to a certain degree. When we look at our history, we find so many difficult situations. Most things work out slowly and steadily with a Hope God will help us.
So many people in the USA, and in other countries, live within two paychecks. For the security of all nations, Mercy must be shown. To endanger employment for all is to cripple the solutions. I'd pray and hope we know we are all in the same boat, large and small. In the United States Great Depression, not just the small were hurt in financial upheaval. We have models for recovery - the lenience and mercy of the Light of Christ in mankind. United we rise in mercy for one another.
We can see this illness has uniquely spared the young. Mercy has been granted. We pray the older generations will be able to carry this forth in mortgages and business loans and utilities. Recovery will be swift with mercy for one another.
Today is this day. We will be grateful for one another. We will remember self quarantine is our oddly sit on the sofa heroism. And see the trucks are still bringing the food and necessities we have for life.
Abba,
Blessed are the merciful, they will receive mercy.
You have enabled mercy to be within our reach for all of us.
In Hurricane areas, we have seen this come and go. We are prepared. In Dallas, the tornado horror is being rebuilt. God won't let go.
God Bless the Medical Staff and All Medical People. Here in Houston, one hospital is opening the Chapel Doors to Pray Psalm 91. And each day the numbers increase - those who pray together. The reporting nurse had a wavering voice to say they care so much for their families, but want to be a place of healing for all. My G P says many people are at home not feeling well, and the medical community thinks they have mild Covid 19 and will recovery swiftly. Our radio prays the Virus to be knocked down and the replicating portion destroyed. Amen Amen Amen.
God Bless the people out in the world doing the social distancing jobs we need to have going for our functioning.
God Bless the worryiers, the Disciples never were fired. God Bless the faces that are braver. God Bless the people clearly struggling as they work and drive.
God Bless the Government Officials working long hours with a trauma no one would ever hope to see.
God Bless we all believe this will find a cure and a Hope, a Way and a Future in Jesus Christ.
God Bless our freedoms to Pray. God Bless our Prayers. God Bless to increase our Mercy. God Bless us all to realize the joy of not having Child Loss.
To Live to Search for You, to Seek Your Kingdom, Live Love, Peace and Joy.
In Jesus Christ. Amen.
