Psalm 134

A Song of Ascents.

Come, bless the Lord, all you servants of the Lord,
who stand by night in the house of the Lord!
2 Lift up your hands to the holy place
and bless the Lord!

3 May the Lord bless you from Zion,
he who made heaven and earth!

I've come to today with many emotions. Our youngest son, Alexander, has found a great job doing what he has loved to do since he was about three years old. Has been home and at work, getting his Master's Degree to do this great job. Alexander has done his part as great son.


My Mother has Alzheimer's and she wants to talk about events from 2005 as if they are actually happening. Maybe it's hallucinations, maybe it's visions of Heaven. The Caregiver advice says to go with the flow unless harm is generated. She told me our cousin Maxine was extremely upset with her and they were in terrible odds. I said, no that's water under the bridge, Maxine has been in Heaven since 2010 and this is all resolved in God's Kingdom and with Jesus' help. My mother said this was good to know. Making sure Maxine really had passed on. Yes.

Another member of the family is not understanding critical issues. They are losing the car, when the police arrive to help - is unable to describe what type of vehicle they have lost. And the police arrive at this household because the security alarm code is forgotten about 3 times a week.

Edward is ill, with three lobes of his brain bearing terminal scarring. He still does well, but there are days he wants to talk about how he feels. His diagnosis says this typically happens to people in their early 50's and the 20 something children move far away, being unequipped emotionally to deal with parental terminal velocity. The Government study says let them go as far as they feel the need to go. Anger and demonstrative behavior won't equip 20 somethings. And with polite behavior and time so sort out all of this - the adult children will return. You have to love positive help.

Wait. If this is your life - then, this is what you know to talk about.

It's not like I just jump in someone's face and put this out there.

The Truth is this: If this were your life, you could expect kindly people asking how things in life really go. And you tell them a little and they tell you - I know I had something similar. The Truth is there is a reason why God tells us His Joy in Saving 'the "WORLD"' ... because in Proverbs 8, God delights in the Heart of mankind.

No one can be your Holy Spirit. Jesus is our Salvation. But the kindness of caring - is GOOD.

I love this photo on prayer. Our Living Room window looks like this after an early summer rain. Home. The Victory of Thanking Father God for His Goodness. The ability to raise our hands in private moments of prayer in supplication.

We study Prayer. What if we pray a million hundred thousand trillion ways?


Today, Alexander is moving out. I have prayed about this since he was in pre-school. More than I want Alexander's Fellowship - I want Alexander to be on his Path going forward and to God's Eternal Life.

Some of my consolation is - my Minister once told me if your child moves to the Heights, from our neck of The Woods - they generally move home to marry and have children. From your lips to God's ear, my Minister. I pray for his family and would love Father God to sprinkle this gracious prayer on my family as well! So I feel encouraged with a Real Faith there.




My mother's long time friend met Alexander again, living in other cities, in 2015. Cynthia said Alexander reminded her of her next door neighbor's youngest son immediately. He never met someone he loved and he stayed home with his lovely mother until her death and still lives in the family home at age 50=something unmarried. Now, that will drop your jaw to the floor and make you speechless with horror. For the story was long, and thank God, Thank Jesus, Thank Father God - the story did not match Alexander at all. Or me. I want to go to Heaven with Alexander surrounded by his wife who loves him and his children. Not missing Alexander's God Given Life.

Edward had a friend from High School, who lived in his parent's guest quarters for over 5 years as newly wedded husband and wife. And in five years, they purchased a very, very lovely home with cash. His father said if you do this you will have financial security. So this friend has adored his parents did this for him and his younger siblings.

I told this to my cousin and she said she'd do this. She did. She lived with her mom, my first cousin once removed, for ten years, and she and her family of five go on magnificent, broadening family vacations. Their home was paid for. The idea is this - you show your parents you are putting 80 to 90% income every year into the bank into savings. The Jews did this. Family Housing.

I always hoped my sons would do this. So far - not yet. And I prayed. And will pray daily.

In their college years, we prayed, after Edward and I lost our daughter Isabelle, they would come home for a time after College. They both did. Alleluia. Mostly!

I prayed for one of them to stay when Edward was diagnosed and Alexander did for 6 or 7 years. He has done his son duty. I adore to see Alexander's friends. Love them. They were our Church Youth Group for about 7 years. And they are starting to trickle back to our Neck of The Woods. I want to see them. Pray to. Hope to.

There is a well worn a path in my Prayer Life for their Believing Wife to be in Love with Jesus and His Church. My brother, an Attorney, called me furiously one day and he was so very angry. Why? I had to get rid of my older son's girlfriend she would be the RUIN of my son. Quickly, get rid of her. What? Well we fight our Battle's with Prayer. And after three years and a couple of fires, she departed. And all things work together for Good. We have had alcoholics in our family, but no one really believes until their generation sees this. Drinking from college has fallen way, way down to a mere nothing. God is Good.

So Far, Prayers have Been:

• Oh Mom, did you know I was getting ready to be in trouble in college and the Police coincidentally, actually arrived and that didn't happen. 
• (Fasting works, even if you don't find out until years later.) 
• Pray Apnea doesn't kill the small baby.
• Thank God for CPR Training.
• Get Married.  That one is Good, Thank God.
• Don't Get Married Now.
• Pray you don't marry this one and learn alcoholism. Pray no substance abuse.
• Go to this College!
• Oh God, why that College.
• Live through Swine Flu
• Survive coping with each other during "I'm Going to Get You Now" for Swine Flu, Swine
• Blessings for the son who was a Life Guard and saved a young woman at the WAC.
• Pray High School isn't a let down over working.
• Get a wonderful SPCA Husky. Pray Thank You.
• Have Husky Dog overcome old age for a year and a half, we all cry ten years later.
• Pray for the family giving up Spring Break to have our Husky in Heaven. All arrive.
• Get this Particular Job, Thank God
• Get a better than this Particular Job
• Live with this Roommate. Thank God.
• Survive living with this Roommate.
• Pray for the High School Ski Trip
• Pray not to want to yell at everyone who acted badly on the ski trip.
• Pray that High School Youth Leadership will not falter.
• Pray for the child who vomited on everyone in the tent in the middle of the night in the High School Youth Trip Camping Trip.
• Pray for the flu to end.
• Pray thanksgiving over the sons who wouldn't sneak out of the house at night.
• Pray for the child who learned to snowboard and find out he didn't go off the tall cliff. Thank Jesus.
• Pray for the child as a teen group, chased by homeless people in Atlanta.
• Watch Cal give Alexander his red little paid for himself two door Lexus.
• Pray later we sell the car to make Cal feel Blessed.
• Pray for the child coming home from college who had a car do a 360' on a dry day on the interstate.
• Pray Alexander will love Baylor and Thank God, he does.
• Pray for Alexander to get the job in college with good Travel. 
• Pray Safe Travel.
• Pray where is Alexander in the world because he is in Europe and is supposed to have been home for a week. Where is he.
• Give Thanks Alexander is safe and wrote down the wrong date.
• Give Thanks for Alexander's Lovely Girlfriend!
• Watch Cal pay for a friend who can't afford rent, for a nice place to live for two years.
• Train Cal's friend at the job Cal got for him in insurance for a year. He affords his own place.
• Pray for a long time friend who now drinks to find a different path.
• Be glad your sons didn't marry outside of being 21 because there are 4 divorces. Pray Peace all.
• Pray for Grandchildren who Love Jesus.
• Pray for Cal to go to Law School in Texas.
• Pray we survive Cal going to Michigan.
• Pray for Cal not to move to the East Coast.
• Pray now about Colorado. C'mon Texas.
• Pray for Alexander who has changed fields and needs work
• Thank God work arrives in just a few weeks.
• Pray for the child who tried out for the H S Baseball team and was sad to become the Manager.
• Pray for the Football child who is asked to be on the HS Baseball team and won't to avoid hurting the brother.
• Pray for the child who didn't get into the Fraternity.
• Pray for the President of the Fraternity dealing with Student Government, Police, drugs, drunks and broken antiques and having the time of his life. Pray.
• Pray for depression for loss of his sister.
• Pray for the family who gives up Spring Break to sit in her little bedroom and miss her.
• Pray for depression for his dad's illness.
• Pray for Alexander to Get Into Grad School
• Pray Alexander loves Grad School.
• Pray when being asked to make Amazing Travel for Career.
• Pray for two moles not to be Cancer. One bleeds. And they are not Thank God.
• Pray for Alexander who so wants a Job and Finds Always what Alexander wanted.
• Pray for a young man to understand all about full time work.
• Thank God for this Job. Thank Jesus.
• Pray for the son on vacation who goes Dirt Biking and is now looking like Pharaoh.
• Pray for the 30 year old son hiking across Colorado alone.
• Pray for the two sons hiking in Colorado on a Rocky mountain top in lightning, sliding down.
• Pray for the son who told you he wouldn't hike in the forest fire areas and later tells you he lost his wallet there.
• Over 30 Years of Daily Prayer and Matters of Utmost Importance. Solved. Thank God.
• Pray for their wisdom and giving word.
• Pray for the son who was told he will be a Very Good Youth Minister after he retires.
• Pray for the son who talks in his sleep to tell me he has a Good Soul and I go downstairs and read in Proverbs about knowing when your soul is Good with God. And Pleases God.
• Wanting yours sons to help you with Terminal Illness in their father.
• Praying for them to have their own life leading to Jesus and Heaven. And Christian Marriage and wonderful children.
• Pray not to lose patience when they say, "Oh Mom, you sent me hand sanitizer for the Covid 19?"
• Pray Thank God listens to us Pray and Does His Plan. Because our prayers are very close to the ground. And Thank GOD, God is God.

Isaiah 40:9

To know the Scriptures, To know the Power of God. Thank You.

In the Name of Jesus, we pray Jesus is revealed. We pray all we love and all we know, find Jesus Loves. We pray our children to have what we can give them in financial help. We pray the wisdom of family life with Love.

Families Ephesians tells us Live together in Heaven and earth.

We pray Jesus revealed in our prayers. We pray Jesus revealed to answer those prayers.

We ask to Seek Jesus First. To live lives of Love, Peace and Joy. Pleasing to You.

We Pray Jesus and have the calm of a child with Father God.

We Hold up Jesus and His Name and have the Blessing from Numbers 6.
And cover those we Love in this Blessing. We cover the people God has given us.
We Cover our Churches. We Cover our Communities with Jesus. We Cover our Nation
Trusting in God to have this Blessing of Jesus.

We pray with Belief and Lean upon Jesus in His Faith. We give Father God
all our cares and cover all of the world You Love in Jesus.

Thank You Father God for the People I Love. You have Given.

Thank You for so Many Answered Prayers. Thank Jesus.

And pray Your Good Will. Amen.
