1 Timothy 2:3-5 ~ God our Father wants everyone to be saved

The widow of Nain, received her son back to Life during his funeral.
And the crowd size was very large.

Holy Week, Israel knew what they'd seen. Multitudes were arriving at the Temple.

The week of the First Good Friday was a time period people hid indoors. Many women arrived to be with Jesus on Good Friday.

Matthew 27:55
Many women were there watching from afar, who had followed Jesus from Galilee, serving Him.

1 Timothy 2:3-5

This is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior,
Who wants everyone to be saved
and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

5 For there is one God,
and there is one mediator between God and men,
the man Christ Jesus

The time of the First Easter saw a lot of amazing things and great unrest. Three historians have said there was so much unrest the Governor of Judea wrote the Emperor. The letter is lost, but the record of the letter remains. What drew people to face unrest to support Jesus suffering, Jesus dying and died upon the cross and, then, risk further trouble to support what they had seen of Jesus raising the dead and believing Jesus Risen to Life Forever.

We want peace for our Nation, peace for ourselves, peace for our families. Peace for All.

How did Jesus become what people wanted?

The first demonstration was the unity for Life. Greater Life. Let's study the facts of The Book of Acts.

Baptizing and Teaching are the signs of New Belief. New Hope. New Beginnings. New Life.

When we want to see who was there for Teaching and Baptism, we find Jews. Samaritans.  Ethiopians. Government Workers. Handicapped.  Saul, for reasons of his own.  Government Soldier, known for kind heartedness. Career Women. Prison workers.  Foreigners in search.  Sincere people.  Some say many, others say Multitudes.

This wasn't your typical time of regular life. It wasn't a time to find all people secure and unchallenged.  It was a fearful time, deciding the future of "All of Israel" Knows. This was a time for finding troubled and brave hearts. All Seasons and Flavors of Life. Seeking God to tell them. The people wanted the God of Love to Unify and warm and lead. Jesus Alive.

This was a time for Many.
And is again.

Acts 1:3
He presented himself alive to them after his suffering by many proofs, appearing to them during forty days and speaking about the kingdom of God.

Jesus knew this time was so filled with changes and uncertainty, Jesus is present with us. Emmanuel.
So many of the people present were Jews - knew the ropes of all this. The Book of Acts makes very clear, this is a time for the basics of God of Love to be rediscovered and all the Life and Truth God wants to give. This is a time of Fellowship and Prayer. Not fear, but of Love.

1 John 4
God is Love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.

God tells us  Emerald Green is one of His favorite colors.

Acts 1:5
John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

Baptism is a key portion of Renewal. So many wanted new Lives with God's Help and Blessing.
(A challenge for this virus, but not without Solutions pleasing to the Holy Spirit!!!)

Romans 6:4
Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

Acts 2:40
And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation.”

Acts 2:43
And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles.

Acts 4:4
But many of those who had heard the word believed, and the number of the men came to about five thousand.

Acts 4:34
There was not a needy person among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold

Acts 5:12
Now many signs and wonders were regularly done among the people by the hands of the apostles. And they were all together in Solomon's Portico.

God tells us to Seek and we will Find.

Acts 6:7
And the word of God continued to increase, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests became obedient to the faith.

Jesus always has asked we bring the children to Him. Even the grown children to Jesus in Prayer.

Acts 8:7
For unclean spirits, crying out with a loud voice, came out of many who had them, and many who were paralyzed or lame were healed.

Acts 8:25
Now when they had testified and spoken the word of the Lord, they returned to Jerusalem, preaching the gospel to many villages of the Samaritans.

God tells us one man sharpens another. We encourage each other for the upbuilding
of the Body of Christ.

Acts 9:13
But Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he has done to your saints at Jerusalem."

God has promised us a Spirit of Power. Mankind filled with the Holy Spirit has gone far and finished well to Go Home to His Kingdom.

Acts 9:23
Saul Escapes from Damascus When many days had passed, the Jews plotted to kill him

Acts 9:42
And it became known throughout all Joppa, and many believed in the Lord.

Acts 9:43
And he stayed in Joppa for many days with one Simon, a tanner.

Acts 10:27
And as he talked with him, he went in and found many persons gathered.

Acts 11:24
For he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And a great many people were added to the Lord.

Acts 11:26
And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year they met with the church and taught a great many people. And in Antioch the disciples were first called Christians.

Acts 12:12
When he realized this, he went to the house of Mary, the mother of John whose other name was Mark, where many were gathered together and were praying.

Acts 13:31
And for many days he appeared to those who had come up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are now his witnesses to the people.

Acts 13:43
And after the meeting of the synagogue broke up, many Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, who, as they spoke with them, urged them to continue in the grace of God.

Acts 13:48
And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed.

Acts 14:22
Strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying that through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.

Acts 15:32
And Judas and Silas, who were themselves prophets, encouraged and strengthened the brothers with many words.

Acts 15:35
But Paul and Barnabas remained in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.

About scripture-for-today.blogspot.com/

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He has saved all who call upon His name and rely on Him for His Grace. The Scriptures are living & active and are for understanding the Lord Almighty. Biblical readings are chosen from the Ecumenical Christian Church and the Nicene Council, 325 A.D., approved Apocrypha. People remember not just from reading, but by sight and orally- an image has been added as well as audio readings. About Me

Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
