Luke 12:48b-49 ~ Entrusted †

When we hold our child for the first time.  All is right with the world and God is in His Heaven. We walk about hoping for our child and imagining what the future could hold. We hope the doors open to them in Spirit and education.  Marriage, family, career. God unfolding His many and various blessings upon them.

Today was a sad day for this Nation. We watched many college campuses interrupted with chanting death to a small Nation. One nation that woke up to find their families killed as they slept in their homes. Grandmothers paraded in blood and violence, as if this was something to hold up as a goal. Children kidnapped and shown to be in danger and in violence.

Today was a sad day for this Nation. We watched many college campuses interrupted. Interrupted horribly. This is a day the Nation will see these college decline even more in any enrollment.

Learning should open doors of Love, conversation, hope and Joy. This was horrible. A Tragedy. When we limit the joy in education, we fall. It was a weekend when a College Valedictorian was asked not to speak because the topic would be the annihilation of a Nation.  And those who stopped her knew, they understood, she had limited the opportunities of others, in this Nation, for years and years. Lives changed, and not for the better.

History teaches us. We learn how other nations have effectively treated violence and demand for blood soaked violence. If left to be, it will hurt many.  Search History for what is effective to end the lust for blood. Effectively. France has stemmed violence, in recent History. Peace is important.

Our college enrollments ... before today, were down to the rates seen almost ten years ago. The interruption of the Pandemic and the gulf of ideas. Are damaging education. The decision of the Nation's Leaders to fund war and un fund colleges, leaving a huge wake of the society melting pots seen in Universities.  A Nation should want to Empower their Children with Education and not shame them.

This is a sad day. Parents sit at home, see the news, and see the bloodlust. We hurt ourselves.  We hurt our children. We increase class warfare. We decrease the beauty of Education and the power to uplift, ignite and bring Love and Joy with Peace.

Luke 12:48b-49

Everyone to whom much was given, 

of him much will be required, 

and from him to whom they entrusted much, 

they will demand the more.

I came to cast fire on the earth, 

and would that it were already kindled!

The Church will soon be Celebrating,

Pentecost is coming

We should recognize our Fire.

 but shall have the Light of Life."

What will the answer, the solution, the hope be?

How will we entrust our children 

to school

or to Universities?

A late friend of ours, who lived a very long and beloved life, her husband went to the Korean War. He was not about to have his children off at college when he had seen the Vietnam War veterans denigrated. It was his stand. And he made sure if they wanted his financial help, they had his parental help. They graduated from the University of Houston and Rice University while living at home. Did this impede their adult lives? Quite the contrary, they had a business idea, the 3 adult children and have made a career that will sustain them. A secondary career that became a sibling career of very good fortune. Their friendships forged during the years of college.  The added years of parenting. Who required a small job during the college years while living at home. A strong work ethic.

This isn't yesterday's news. My brother is a Trial Attorney, Clerked for a Federal Judge in El Paso. Defended the Dallas Police for 5 years in Federal Court every day. Worked in the El Paso City Attorney's Office and went very profitably into his own Trial Attorney Career. The man is a Brahma Bull of Law and Order.  He has moved to Chicago to allow his children to be in the best Universities in Chicago.... while living at home.

Another friend of Church, her grandchildren and children all live around her hen family. Gathered together. They have attended Junior Colleges to avoid taking on debt, while living at home. And at the last possible moment, went to University of Houston, graduated without debt and the grandchildren have moved into careers, which immediately afforded them the opportunity to live in family adults. The grandchildren gathererd in groups to afford very fine houses with huge bedrooms, renting out to their good friends. Their mortgages paid by grateful tenants and their portion is small, and the renters delighted as well.

Entrusted to be protected, have a hope and future. And to allow a strong framework where Love is the goal.

 And setting Love first, All These Things are Added Unto The People of God. 

Let us Bless the Lord. Yay, Lord God. Amen.

Entrusted to be awake, diligent, in all age groups of our children and seasons to those entrusted to us by the Lord. The Dinner Table Conversation that is gracious and finds out the lay of the land, school yard or classroom. And doing like my brother and my sisters in the Lord -making goodness happen by determination, deliberation and diligence. Delightful and Bright as Daylight.

Prayer, Praying and Prayerful! The Opportunity to bring more Heaven to earth in The Lord's Good Will.  These are the prayers Jesus tells us He wants. 

John 8:12

Abba, Father,

Father, we hope for Your grace and favor in Your sight, 

Bless us when we carry and proclaim 

the Light of Jesus in all mankind, 

we are pleasing to You.

Help our direction

for ALL

to be of God

Love

Hope

Joy

and Faith.

Build us again, in You.

We believe You are the Living God. 

We believe, no good thing do You withhold from those who walk uprightly. 

We believe daily in the Glory of Your Word 

and Will.

We will long for Your counsel and Your Will, 

to have those we love - praise Your Glory!

We believe, Your Word of Truth,

We are sealed with the Promises of the Holy Spirit.

With Your Help, we will believe, 

daily keeping Your Light in us.

we will look to the Windows of Heaven in our life

for those who Love You.
