Matthew 11:28
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest.
Galatians 6:9
And let us not grow weary of doing good,
for in due season we will reap,
if we do not give up.
John 16:33
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace.
In the world you will have tribulation.
But take heart; I have overcome the world.
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord,
plans for welfare
and not for evil,
to give you a future and a hope.
The Spirit of God, Hope, Helper, Comfort, Comforter. Consider Philippians 4:6, is it admonition: Do NOT be anxious? Or is this the desire of God to live John's "Gospel" in Chapters 14, 15, 16 and 17 to have, hold and warm, blesses our heart, soul and every fiber of our being? The Spirit is Living and Active. This is your good Parent explaining the desire for the goal of life, to give backbone, strength and overall Love and Good Cheer. His Hope for you, His Beloved:
Philippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything,
but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving
let your requests be made known to God.
Matthew 11:29
Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me,
for I am gentle and lowly in heart,
and you will find rest for your souls.
We, who believe Jesus is the Word of God and all of His Promises, all reach a point after a day of hard work when we are weary and tired. And are glad of the God of Comfort.
Help. Helper, Comfort. Comforter.
Jeremiah 31:25
For I will satisfy the weary soul,
and every languishing soul I will replenish.
Psalm 23:3
He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
When we have within us the desire to reach to our Father in prayer. We want to come to Him like Isaiah and confess His Love, mercy, joy and bring our whole self to the Lord. For Him to see us as we are and in His Love to be polished and forgiven for what we tell Him . We, all, and all of us, fall short in doing or thinking. To have better attitudes and more of His Help, to go from strength to strength in His Eyes and Heart. Like Isaiah and Paul have said, we don't always know our own flaws and sins, but we know we do have them and ask Him to Discern us in His Great and Steadfast Love.
The world has its culture. The Old Testament has the law, fully explaining how we are not God, nor do we reach His Holiness. And we confess to Him, Who knows us so well.
James 5:16
Confess your faults one to another,
and pray one for another,
that ye may be healed.
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Isaiah 62
For Zion's sake I will not keep silent,
and for Jerusalem's sake I will not be quiet,
until her righteousness goes forth as brightness,
and her salvation as a burning torch.
2 The nations shall see your righteousness,
and all the kings your glory,
and you shall be called by a new name
that the mouth of the Lord will give.
3 You shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord,
and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
4 You shall no more be termed Forsaken,
and your land shall no more be termed Desolate,
but you shall be called My Delight Is in Her,
and your land Married;
for the Lord delights in you,
and your land shall be married.
5 For as a young man marries a young woman,
so shall your sons marry you,
and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride,
so shall your God rejoice over you.
6 On your walls, O Jerusalem,
I have set watchmen;
all the day and all the night
they shall never be silent.
You who put the Lord in remembrance,
take no rest,
7 and give him no rest
until he establishes Jerusalem
and makes it a praise in the earth.
8 The Lord has sworn by his right hand
and by his mighty arm:
“I will not again give your grain
to be food for your enemies,
and foreigners shall not drink your wine
for which you have labored;
9 but those who garner it shall eat it
and praise the Lord,
and those who gather it shall drink it
in the courts of my sanctuary.”
10 Go through, go through the gates;
prepare the way for the people;
build up, build up the highway;
clear it of stones;
lift up a signal over the peoples.
11 Behold, the Lord has proclaimed
to the end of the earth:
Say to the daughter of Zion,
“Behold, your salvation comes;
behold, his reward is with him,
and his recompense before him.”
12 And they shall be called The Holy People,
The Redeemed of the Lord;
and you shall be called Sought Out,
A City Not Forsaken.
Abba, Father,
Dwell in us, Father,
we ask in the Highest Name of Jesus.
Dwell, fully, in those we love
Help us to seek You
first
