Isaiah 41:1-10 ~ The LORD

 

When David faced any storm in his adult life, he had people who helped, however, mostly, he knew the storms needed the Lord to be solved, endured and overcome. The Psalms reveal the depth of David's sorrow, fear, frustration, anger and resolve.  Some of the Psalms are not recited during calm groups.  David knew he faced death. And worse. The fight for the Lord was worth the battle. Let the Good, Righteous Love of God prevail. Even in the days of supreme difficulty. Never, never, never should evil triumph. Isaiah also knew the importance of Righteousness Reigning for God's glory and mankind.

Isaiah 41:1-10

  Listen to me in silence, O coastlands;

    let the peoples renew their strength;

let them approach, then let them speak;

    let us together draw near for judgment.

2 Who stirred up one from the east

    whom victory meets at every step?

He gives up nations before Him,

    so that He tramples kings underfoot;

He makes them like dust with his sword,

    like driven stubble with his bow.

3 He pursues them and passes on safely,

    by paths His Feet have not trod.

4 Who has performed and done this,

    calling the generations from the beginning?

I, the Lord,

 the First,

    and with the Last; 

I am He.

5 The coastlands have seen and are afraid;

    the ends of the earth remble;

    they have drawn near and come.

6 Everyone helps his neighbor

    and says to his brother, “Be strong!”

7 The craftsman strengthens the goldsmith,

    and he who smooths with the hammer him who strikes the anvil,

saying of the soldering, “It is good”;

    and they strengthen it with nails so that it cannot be moved.

But you, Israel, 

my servant,

    Jacob, whom I have chosen,

    the offspring of Abraham, my friend;

you whom I took from the ends of the earth,

    and called from its farthest corners,

saying to you, 

“You are my servant,

    I have chosen you and not cast you off”

Fear not, for I am with you;

    be not dismayed, 

for I am your God;

I will strengthen you, 

I will help you,

    I will uphold you with My Righteous Right Hand.

Psalm 9:9-10

The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, 

a stronghold in times of trouble. 

And those who know Your Name put their trust in You, 

for You, O Lord, 

have not forsaken those who seek You.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, 

and do not lean on your own understanding. 

In all your ways 

acknowledge Him, 

and He will make straight your paths.

Psalm 5:4

For you are not a God who delights in wickedness; 

evil may not dwell with you.

Romans 8:28

And we know that for those who love God 

all things work together for good, 

for those who are called 

according to His Purpose.

Galatians 6:9

9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, 

if we do not give up.

Abba, Father,

Father, You have said

All these blessings will come on you 

and accompany you 

if you obey the Lord your God.

The Lord will send a blessing on your barns 

and on everything you put your hand to.

 The Lord your God will bless you in the land He is giving you.

You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.

The Lord will establish you as His Holy people, as He promised you on oath,

 if you keep the commands of the Lord your God 

and walk in obedience to Him.

We believe Your blessing Father God,

 for ourselves, 

the ones we Love, 

the People You have given us. 

We believe Your Blessing for Our Jesus and Scripture believing Churches. 

We believe this for Your people around the world. 

We will believe this 

for Our Nation. 

Dwell in me,

Dwell in us,

Dwell in those we Love,

Help us to seek You first.

And we will finish well, in Jesus Christ. 

Help us find and bring

to become

 more Heaven

to this earth.

And the Nations of the world,

Your Good Creation,

Calling upon You.

And in Jesus - this Hope, 

Faith and Love - we will rise up believing Jesus.
