In 2012, a friend's adult child invited my younger son, Alexander, and me to fly in his twin engine airplane and see our county. We flew all over North of Houston. It was the end of May, we were astonished to see how beautiful and like we think of Ireland our part of Texas is.
In this age of media and personal cameras, we don't publish the aerial view of the world. Our shower curtains can be realistically made to display profound mountain ranges or the earth's awe of incredible beaches. We can turn an entire wall into gigantic photos, or photoshop, of enormous, treed forestry. And in this age of photos with incredibly, readily availability, we don't always practice our photography and send the beauty we see and are blessed to love.
We all have beauty around us. God blesses us.
Cities photos are almost concrete grotesque, shown from above of vast highways. And stick in our mind as the definition of the city.
We reinforce this image in our minds, by the cities not growing trees as Washington State, Oregon, and Atlanta and, now Houston, does. Making micro forests to enjoy and love as we travel. God Bless Lady Bird Johnson, who has beautified so very much with her wildflower campaign transforming Texas. Louisiana and many other states! Texas loves to go and see Blue Bonnets! Lady Bird's labor still grows over the 60 years she campaigned.
We ask ourselves to look to the brighter side of life. Be positive!
And Genesis, the gift of the earth. God calls the earth His good creation, yesterday, today and tomorrow. We are all called by the Lord to cultivate His gift of life. Not just for ourselves, but for each other and the people yet to be born. David tells us in the Psalms, Goodness and mercy follow in my footsteps. Psalm 23. An Oak Tree arrives from a mere acorn. And Abraham was identified in his lifetime and for generations living under the Oaks of Mamre.
Then, let's do this:
North Memphis
Emporium, Pennsylvania - not to forget the smaller towns!
Christ the King Church, Dallas
St Martin's Episcopal Church! Houston!
D C
Washington DC, National Cathedral, a mere few minutes from downtown DC
and the White House
Chicago
Atlanta!
Still Atlanta with all the trees and trees and trees and trees
planted by the Highways in the inner city and suburbs.
A dedication to Trees!
Houston of all ages and cost range in housing
Did you know the concrete jungle of Dallas
is really a forest???
Dallas
Boston

Philadelphia
Upper and Lower Photos of
Pittsburgh
Both Pittsburgh
This is Rochester, Minnesota
equally beautiful, Rochester, NY.
I remember from my days living in PA.
1 John 4:4
Little children, you are from God
and have overcome them,
for He, Who is in you
is greater than he who is in the world.
Isaiah 61:3
To grant to those who mourn in Zion
— to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
the garment of praise
instead of a faint spirit
That they may be called
Oaks of Righteousness
The planting of the Lord,
that He may be glorified.
When we are in conversation and people are telling each other about the importance of their lives, they aren't usually explaining about their careers. They explain about their loves, their families, the friends who matter to them. Their direction and the hopes they have for their futures in the government and in the schools.
When we see the cities and not merely the highways and concrete
We connect and have a better understanding, The Pew Report says almost 80% of the United States prays daily and feels connected to The Lord and professes Jesus is the Son of God. 2/3rds of the USA attends Church at least twice a month. And the age groups that do not are the very young adults and the very aged. Why? Probably they don't feel connected in to the people or it is their health. We go to Church to honor the Lord.
Given these aerial photos, perhaps we are witnessing The Lord believes even more in His People than we currently think about. And each year, we celebrate the God of All, the Almighty would willing place His Son on this earth, this creation, for His People and their Salvation.
And The Lord saw it was Good!
Psalm 24:1-2
The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof!
Psalm 100
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.
2 Serve the Lord with gladness:
come before His Presence
with singing.
3 Know ye that the Lord
He is God:
it is He that hath made us,
and not we ourselves
We are His People, and the sheep of His Pasture.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving,
and into his courts with praise:
be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting;
and his truth endureth to all generations.
Thank You, Father!
John 10:9
I Am the Gate.
If anyone enters through Me,
will be saved
and will go in and out
freely and find good pasture
Thank You, Father!
Abba, Father,
Almighty God, our heavenly Father,
guide the nations of the world
into the way of justice and truth,
and establish among
them that peace which is the fruit of righteousness,
that they
may become the kingdom of our Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ.
Amen.
Eternal God,
in whose perfect kingdom no sword is drawn
but the sword of righteousness,
no strength known but the
strength of love:
So mightily spread abroad your Spirit,
that
all peoples
may be gathered under the banner
of the Prince of Peace,
as children of one Father;
to whom be dominion
and
glory, now and forever.
Amen.
Dwell in us, Father,
we ask in the Highest Name of Jesus.
Dwell, fully, in those we love
Help us to seek You
first
and we will finish well
in Jesus Christ.
We pray
Peace
for Israel
and Your Good Creation.
Continued Healing
and all Good Health!
Very Grateful for the help
we have received from each other
to complete this work
for my mother.
VERY GRATEFUL
for all the help we have had
Thank You. Jesus.
Our God is working. His Son,
Jesus is working.
Amen.
