Isaiah 9:6-7 ~ The zeal of the Lord of Hosts will do this.

Isaiah 11:6
The wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the lion and the fattened calf together; and a little child shall lead them.

Isaiah 65:25
The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox, but dust will be the serpent's food. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain," says the LORD.

Paul was told several times about his future. God did not want people to say Paul was uninformed. Later Paul wrote to Timothy saying he would like to join him, but "he would see how it goes with me." Jesus sent Paul on several journeys and when Paul got to Asia, the Holy Spirit sent him back.

Isaiah told us all about Jesus. And the Magi went to Herod to see this Child of God.

Isaiah 7:14
Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.[God is with us]

Isaiah 9:6-7

For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon his shoulder,
and his name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7
Of the increase of his government and of peace
there will be no end,
on the throne of David and over his kingdom,
to establish it and to uphold it
with justice and with righteousness
from this time forth and forevermore.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.

The government was upon the shoulders of Jesus - suffocation in crucifixion is caused by the placement of the shoulders upon the cross. God makes all things to work for Good and Jesus' Kingdom will have no end.

These Prophesies of Jesus come to pass. And when they are accomplished, people remember and understand.

Isaiah 11:1-10
Nations would seek the counsel of Jesse's descendant

There shall come forth a shoot from the stump of Jesse,
and a branch from his roots shall bear fruit.
2
And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him,
the Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and might,
the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.
3
And his delight shall be in the fear of the Lord.
He shall not judge by what his eyes see,
or decide disputes by what his ears hear,
4
but with righteousness he shall judge the poor,
and

decide with equity for the meek of the earth

Meek - not wanting to argue, to answer with dignity. Joshua was told not to lean to the right nor the left. This is called be strong and courageous. Joshua, in the power of the Holy Spirit, went far.

Now, Balaam was not very nice in 1600-1400 B.C. yet all he said about the Star of David and Jesus, we can well have our hearts warmed by today.

Numbers 24 c 1400 -1600 B.C.

5 Then he spoke his message:

“The prophecy of Balaam son of Beor,
the prophecy of one whose eye sees clearly,
16 the prophecy of one who hears the words of God,
who has knowledge from the Most High,
who sees a vision from the Almighty,
who falls prostrate, and whose eyes are opened:

17“I see him, but not now;
I behold him, but not near.

A star will come out of Jacob;
a scepter will rise out of Israel.

Isaiah was well recognized for being like Joshua. Isaiah had worked for 3 Kings of the line of David in Judah and finally with Hezekiah, the Assyrian Empire was going to fall back because the people of God were going to trust God.

What would happen when the Words of Balaam would be seen as parallel with the Words of Isaiah even if Balaam, son of Beor, was basically a self serving pagan. Balaam would have his words inscribed upon the walls of his birthplace in a cave in Deir Alla, Jordan. Called the Book of Balaam Inscription.

8th-century BC Kingdom of Judah -Isaiah, placed in Jordan.

Bringing the passages together would be Jesus, the One we would want to behold and see drawing this together, as Jesus does.

Matthew 28:19
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Father God,
To Isaiah, to Balaam, to Paul - You will is Your's. For Your Great Purpose. All things are made by You and Your Plan has the fullness of being united in Jesus Christ. Things in Heaven and things on earth.

In Great Thanksgiving, we have obtained an inheritance in Jesus. Let us work our lives according to the counsel of Father God, You Will in Your Words.

We will hope in Jesus to help participate in the Praise of Your Glory.

In Jesus, we know Your Words are truth. The Gospel is Your Salvation to us who believe. We are sealed with the promises of Your Word in the Holy Spirit.

We will not cease to give thanks for Jesus, knowing you pray with us as in John 16 and John 17.

Father please give us the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of You.
Having the eyes of our hearts enlightened, that we may know what is the hope to which He has called us,

Help us to see the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of Your power toward us who believe.

The way you have shown our fathers and forefathers according to the working of Your great might. And the multitudes and millions of people who saw Your work in Jesus Christ when HE rose from the dead. And now Jesus is seated at Your right hand in the heavenly places,

You are far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.

All things of Heaven and earth are Yours.

To the praise of Your Glory, in victory we give those we love into Your blessing and into Your Hand. In beautiful hope, we give the People You have given us again to You. We lift up our Churches believing in Jesus and His Word, our work places, our state and Nation. May God Bless This Nation. And all the people of all nations calling upon Jesus. Amen.

Luke 4 ~ The Spirit of the Lord

Bethlehem photo of last century shows how the manger or barn looked.

Luke 4

4 And Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness 2 for forty days, being tempted by the devil. And he ate nothing during those days. And when they were ended, he was hungry. 3 The devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.” 4 And Jesus answered him, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone.’” 5 And the devil took him up and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time, 6 and said to him, “To you I will give all this authority and their glory, for it has been delivered to me, and I give it to whom I will. 7 If you, then, will worship me, it will all be yours.” 8 And Jesus answered him, “It is written,

“‘You shall worship the Lord your God,
and him only shall you serve.’”

9 And he took him to Jerusalem and set him on the pinnacle of the temple and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down from here, 10 for it is written,

“‘He will command his angels concerning you,
to guard you,’

11 and

“‘On their hands they will bear you up,
lest you strike your foot against a stone.’”

12 And Jesus answered him, “It is said, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’” 13 And when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from him until an opportune time.
Jesus Begins His Ministry

14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and a report about him went out through all the surrounding country. 15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all.
Jesus Rejected at Nazareth

16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up. And as was his custom, he went to the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and he stood up to read. 17 And the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written,

18
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives
and recovering of sight to the blind,
to set at liberty those who are oppressed,
19
to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.”

20 And he rolled up the scroll and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him. 21 And he began to say to them, “Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.” 22 And all spoke well of him and marveled at the gracious words that were coming from his mouth. And they said, “Is not this Joseph's son?” 23 And he said to them, “Doubtless you will quote to me this proverb, ‘Physician, heal yourself.’ What we have heard you did at Capernaum, do here in your hometown as well.” 24 And he said, “Truly, I say to you, no prophet is acceptable in his hometown. 25 But in truth, I tell you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heavens were shut up three years and six months, and a great famine came over all the land, 26 and Elijah was sent to none of them but only to Zarephath, in the land of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow. 27 And there were many lepers[a] in Israel in the time of the prophet Elisha, and none of them was cleansed, but only Naaman the Syrian.” 28 When they heard these things, all in the synagogue were filled with wrath. 29 And they rose up and drove him out of the town and brought him to the brow of the hill on which their town was built, so that they could throw him down the cliff. 30 But passing through their midst, he went away.

31 And he went down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee. And he was teaching them on the Sabbath, 32 and they were astonished at his teaching, for his word possessed authority. 33 And in the synagogue there was a man who had the spirit of an unclean demon, and he cried out with a loud voice, 34 “Ha![b] What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God.” 35 But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be silent and come out of him!” And when the demon had thrown him down in their midst, he came out of him, having done him no harm. 36 And they were all amazed and said to one another, “What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!” 37 And reports about him went out into every place in the surrounding region.

38 And he arose and left the synagogue and entered Simon's house. Now Simon's mother-in-law was ill with a high fever, and they appealed to him on her behalf. 39 And he stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her, and immediately she rose and began to serve them.

40 Now when the sun was setting, all those who had any who were sick with various diseases brought them to him, and he laid his hands on every one of them and healed them. 41 And demons also came out of many, crying, “You are the Son of God!” But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the Christ.

42 And when it was day, he departed and went into a desolate place. And the people sought him and came to him, and would have kept him from leaving them, 43 but he said to them, “I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns as well; for I was sent for this purpose.” 44 And he was preaching in the synagogues of Judea.

1 Corinthians 14:39-40
Therefore, my brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak in tongues. But all things must be done properly and in an orderly manner.

Now how would Luke 4 be a Christmas story?
It's out of order. This has a very good answer !

Ephesians 4 talks about the orderliness of God:

Ephesians 4:11-15

And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.

When you look at Luke 1, Luke begins by saying he wants to write an orderly account.

Then none of the Gospels exactly match up. Luke 4 is a lot like Mark 1 and the first Gospel of Luke matches with Matthew 1, but then this matches Luke 3.

So where is the order here?
This has a very interesting answer !!!
 These Gospels are in order!
The order of this creation of God the Father - the writer blessed to believe Jesus Christ - blessed to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Blessed to see the Salvation of God using the compass, the Book of Life, DNA, the Plan of God, using gifts talents and personality of salt and light - to understand Father God fills the universe.

John sees Christmas - the willingness of Jesus to do this unique plan of God begin in John's life in the Transfiguration. John walks, sees, witnesses, wonders, worries and is TOLD BY GOD at the Transfiguration. More than gleaming white light, Moses, Elijah and Jesus and Father God. John is fully transfigured by Being Told by God Himself.

Therefore, John's Christmas is

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

9 The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. 11 He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. 12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

16 For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

The Gospel writers see Father God in their relationship with Him.

2 Corinthians 3:17
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Mark sees proclaiming good news begins with taming our wilderness. Repentance of our sins and making the paths straight for the Lord! The Place of New Beginnings!

Father God is making a statement to the Temple of God ~ where men who have handicaps do not enter the Temple of the Lord. The Sacrifices made must be spotless and pure.

Father God has taken Freedom to send HIS Son to the rural areas where an unwed mother would be shocking, not some thing of the Temple, instead, of Father God's heart. This is where we all truly connect, live, move and have our being with Father God and His Love for us.

This journey of His Son, His Precious Son He would run to. Would start as an individual journey letting Light Shine until the there is today a New Heaven and a new earth.

Our lives, our relationship with Father God are like the Scriptures. Living and Active. Seen separately for us to connect with Father God using our God given personality and gifts.

Matthew 1
Mark 1
Luke 1
John 1

Father God, help me to be on Your Path. Seeing what I do today for You. We ask for Encouragement, Strength, Love, Wisdom and Joy.

We pray this for our loved ones and the people You have given us. In Jesus the Lord. For our Churches, work places, state and Nation. For all Your Beloved. Amen in Jesus.

Psalm 90 ~ Establish

Psalm 90

Lord, you have been our dwelling place
in all generations.
2
Before the mountains were brought forth,
or ever you had formed the earth and the world,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God.

You return man to dust
and say, “Return, O children of man!”
For a thousand years in your sight
are but as yesterday when it is past,
or as a watch in the night.
5 You sweep them away as with a flood; they are like a dream,
like grass that is renewed in the morning:
6 in the morning it flourishes and is renewed;
in the evening it fades and withers.
7 For we are brought to an end by your anger;
by your wrath we are dismayed.

8 You have set our iniquities before you,
our secret sins in the light of your presence.
9 For all our days pass away under your wrath;
we bring our years to an end like a sigh.
10 The years of our life are seventy,
or even by reason of strength eighty;
yet their span is but toil and trouble;
they are soon gone, and we fly away.

11 Who considers the power of your anger,
and your wrath according to the fear of you?

12 So teach us to number our days
that we may get a heart of wisdom.
13 Return, O Lord! How long?
Have pity on your servants!

14 Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love,
that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
15 Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us,
and for as many years as we have seen evil.

16 Let your work be shown to your servants,
and your glorious power to their children.
17 Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us,
and establish the work of our hands upon us;
yes, establish the work of our hands!

Harry Truman, the true man who established Israel, spoke wisely. He said, "The Buck Stops Here." Establishing an important Biblical Truth. God is in Charge.

Isaiah, who met God, said no one is like God and we are not righteous. And we take a lot of time deciding what is righteousness instead of letting God be in charge. Jesus told us Life has troubles. Jesus also said He would overcome our troubles.

We are not called just to be partakers of His Comfort. We are called to be providers of a soul where we place Fun, Hope, Goodness, Joy, Love, Peace and Patience would Want to Dwell. And when we do not grow weary of pulling up our strength today - to do good attitudes, words, actions - then we will not grow weary of doing good. We repent when we are all that and must realize He is God. His Righteousness is what we want to dwell in.

Ecclesiastes tells us about seasons. And see seasons of the earth are equivalent to life's pattern,  then see earth rests as a parallel to mankinds' lifespan. Truman Capote captured, wisely, an essence of one generation speaks to the next -  in  "Christmas Memory" - being a small boy relying upon an aging great aunt provided him strength in all seasons always. It is up to us to provide a harbor within ourselves for the Holy Spirit !

The truth of God is this - Father God is vast in goodness.

Yet if we only take His comfort and do not Give His Comfort, even God Almighty grows weary of doing good. Revelation mourns the loss of people gone forever from their own choices, but God says if we only rest in faith - even the demons believe and do not act in goodness and Joy.

Sand is pummeled and the most unlikely event is in this fire - Stained Glass is born. We have a choice to be His, on His Path believing God is good. Or just relying upon self.

Stained Glass - A process
~ Diligent work of framing our place in life to prepare Holiness to dwell.
~ Seeing goodness
~ Cutting out words that gossip, hurt and do not encourage.
~ Create a haven for the Holy Spirit to bless us. Using our bodies to be obedient to His Word. In a time we are told this is pointless. Stained glass happens with diligent goals and planning.

HopePointe's Canon, Father Steven Saul provides hours of being the caring presence of Jesus Christ. He said one of the most fortifying ideas he has ever encountered is this thought. We must live as if we will not see our loved ones for much longer. And then suddenly the thought of the on-going difficulties is not a trial. God gives us today and we will trust Him that tomorrow His steadfast mercies will again renew tomorrow.

We do not serve a sleeping baal, we serve a God so loving - Father God sees us as ourselves and gives us to know He would draw us to Him. Jesus Christ is a shepherd to our rambling and wondering. Our shield and our hope. Jesus the Lord.

Father God,

We do not pray as an exercise, we pray knowing we have the attention and pray with Father God.

We are saved by grace through faith. And this is not our own doing; it is Your gift of God.

Help us Father God to build our lives to be a framework for You to dwell here in the Joy Jesus tells us is His. Establish us to live lives of Hope, Faith, Love. Cast out fear and bring in Love. Let Your Light shine and we will dwell with Jesus Christ.

We lift up with expectation, Joy, Love, Faith, Goodness, Purity and Your Righteousness - this prayer for You to bless our Loved Ones with All of You, Father God. And the people You have given us. For our Churches, work places, state and Nation. We ask Your Goodness and Mercy and look for Your Love.  Thank You Jesus, You pray today with us. Amen.

Colossians 1:24-2:7 ~ finding the hidden treasures of wisdom and knowlege teaches us about Jesus Christ and heart

Colossians 1:24-2:7

24 Now I rejoice in what was suffered for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ's afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the church. 25 I have become its servant by the commission God gave me to present to you the word of God in its fullness— 26 the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the saints. 27 To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

28 We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. 29 To this end I labor, struggling with all his energy, which so powerfully works in me.

Colossians 2
1 I want you to know how much I am struggling for you and for those at Laodicea, and for all who have not met me personally.

2 My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

4 I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by fine-sounding arguments.

5 For though I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit and delight to see how orderly you are and how firm your faith in Christ is.

6 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, 7 rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

Matthew 17:20
20 “You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.

Mustard seed and growing Mustard trees in Napa Valley

I'm not sure I want to suffer. This passage is difficult.

Paul tells us he exactly knew and was told his fate to run this race for Jesus. And this was difficult. He was not told this would be a quiet life. And Paul has a very good Idea about the fruit of His Work for Jesus Christ. Think about the vast number of places named Paul for this Paul, man of God. Especially where we know from Scripture where Paul spoke for Jesus. Many, many places are named St. Paul for his work.

And with that in mind, we can see that if Paul could see what his struggle, his race, his prayers, his belief would accomplish - then indeed, he would rejoice saying these present sufferings are not worth mentioning compared to the Glory of Jesus Christ.

For us, most suffering would be just plain and simple overcoming. The joy of sitting on the dock of the bay, watching the tide roll away, and realizing all the overcoming has left an ability to sort the joy from the imperfect and find His Joy.

I've lived past family suicide, family divorce, loss of two generations - expected, yet painful. And the birth and death my daughter Isabelle and various friendship, relationship suffering. And I find that in my 5th decade of life, one could see a slope of despair coming with more illness and old age and suffering - instead - I believe I will trust Jesus Christ to make my burdens livable and my blessings multiply. Seeing living parables, human examples today, of overcoming aging with joy in each day and Jesus.

We can pray like Paul.

Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Christians in Christ believe He hears prayers and all of life is not suffering. Believing Jesus changes circumstance and cares with us.

The Salt and the Light of becoming who He wants you to be. Realizing we all are different and giving HIM the place to work in all we love.

2 Corinthians 4:8-10
We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that
the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies.

The Life of Jesus gives us all the Promises of God.
Is this pie in the sky by and by?
For some people, yes. Even Hebrews 11 lists miracle and astonishing God over and over. We would miss out on the adventure and quest for life if we say this eternal life begins over there. When we look each day for His Treasure and Blessings - we will find them.

2 Thessalonians 2:16
May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope,

1 John 4:9
This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

We discover again each day was we want to please God, that we do please God by wanting to. Father God builds the universe, we please Him with faith.

Our universe building skills are remarkably wobbly even to the top - the presidential debates dwindle into arguing one law over thousands of others. And if we should have stayed home and employed 'do not render evil for evil' and build up our schools, roads, highways and lowered university costs. And then we talk about if we would as a nation shoot down Russian Airplanes.  Not even the Leaders of the Free World wanna bes are consistent with their could do's from month to month and hindsight. So I'd say with complete freedom - we please God with faith and not getting weary of good deeds.

Instead of wobbling over yesterday, we daily, again, discover the path. God says, Jesus says, Paul says - we all struggle.
And we celebrate the times when life is providing peace and joy. Not failing to give thanks.

Father God, no doubt, has given us Jesus to be righteous and worthy, to have His face shine upon us.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers and sisters.

With His Grace, we can say to Father God with complete confidence in Jesus Christ

Restore us, God Almighty;
make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.

You saved Your son and Your children from bondage of slavery, harm and the harm of giving our lives to weak servitude of serving foreign gods in Egypt. By the use of Your miracles.

So many times You have astonished many people with planting redemption, renewal and victory. You clear the ground for these things when we do not even know this.

Even mountains are created by You, and You prayed on top of mountains, seeing further than us in these difficulties and we long to rest in Your abilities, Love, comfort and branches. Your vision not only sees the great horizon ahead, but why all of this happens and You work this to good. You Move those Mountains and we will all witness Your Glory.

Let Your hand rest on the mankind at your right hand, with Jesus, the son of man You have raised up for Yourself.

We will not turn away from You; Your Will is good even in difficulties, revive us, and we will call on your name. Jesus, Lord God Almighty; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved. Amen.

John 4:46-54 ~ The man believed the Word that Jesus spoke to him

John 4:46-54

So he came again to Cana in Galilee, where he had made the water wine. And at Capernaum there was an official whose son was ill. 47 When this man heard that Jesus had come from Judea to Galilee, he went to him and asked him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. 48 So Jesus said to him, “Unless you [plural] see signs and wonders you will not believe.” 49 The official said to him, “Sir, come down before my child dies.” 50 Jesus said to him, “Go; your son will live.” The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and went on his way.

51 As he was going down, his servants [bondservants] met him and told him that his son was recovering. 52 So he asked them the hour when he began to get better, and they said to him, “Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.” 53 The father knew that was the hour when Jesus had said to him, “Your son will live.” And he himself believed, and all his household. 54 This was now the second sign that Jesus did when he had come from Judea to Galilee.

Belief - when we see the signs God is at work. What would be better than to hear Jesus say that your child would live?

God might say believing Him.

The man who always believed Father God. David records asking the Lord what he should do. What is striking about David is, he does what the LORD says he should do. Because, more importantly, David believed God and acted in faith.

Galatians 3:6
just as Abraham “believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”

God has always believed His Timing is exact. We probably should too.

Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

As the book of Proverbs was written before we could see from the sky to the earth. And Solomon and David probably did not see confluence of water and yet wrote of this.

25 years after the oil spill in Prince William Sound, Alaska thousands of gallons of oil and sea life were still damaged. In the Gulf of Mexico, the spill seemed that the ocean had cleaned itself? We thank You, Father God.

Matthew 9:28
When he entered the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to him, “Yes, Lord.”

Mark 5:30
And Jesus, perceiving in himself that power had gone out from him, immediately turned about in the crowd and said, “Who touched my garments?”

Mark 9:23
All things are possible to him who believes

Father God,
You are in Heaven. Jesus has given You just cause for a new Heaven. And because Jesus Lives, we have a vastly different earth, renewed 2,000 years ago. Father, You alone are Holy.

Thy Kingdom come. Let us remember again in the Holy Spirit, we have access in the Name of Jesus to the Throne of Father God Almighty over All. Let us be grateful again God is Good, His Will is good.

Our daily bread. Let us be proper Stewarts today. Realizing You are our Living Bread.

Forgive me my sins. Help me to forgive others their sins.

Lead me away from temptation.

Deliver me from evil.

For the Kingdom is Yours, The ability and Power are Yours, The Glory is Yours.

In the Name of Jesus. I give You Thanks You cover those I pray for with Your Name, for Your Great Mercy. I thank You, You surround me knowing all my circumstances and hold them in Your hand. Thank You Father for today's good news and Your timing and comfort. Amen and Amen always in Jesus the Lord.

About scripture-for-today.blogspot.com/

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He has saved all who call upon His name and rely on Him for His Grace. The Scriptures are living & active and are for understanding the Lord Almighty. Biblical readings are chosen from the Ecumenical Christian Church and the Nicene Council, 325 A.D., approved Apocrypha. People remember not just from reading, but by sight and orally- an image has been added as well as audio readings. God tends to link the passages together with fascinates - this blogger, Anne-Laurel Gardere

A simple blog, scripture-for-today.blogspot

This blog is pretty simple, but for a reason. This blog isn't about agenda or me, it is for the joy and love to found by reading the Scriptures. Ultimately, it is you and the Lord.

The Scriptures are Father God's letter to you. He wanted you to know more, to know He loves you.

About Me

My photo
Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
