Joel 3:1a, 10-12 14
3 “For behold, in those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, 2 I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat.
Beat your plowshares into swords,
and your pruning hooks into spears;
let the weak say, “I am a warrior.”
11
Hasten and come,
all you surrounding nations,
and gather yourselves there.
Bring down your warriors, O Lord.
12
Let the nations stir themselves up
and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat;
for there I will sit to judge
all the surrounding nations.
14
Multitudes, multitudes,
in the valley of decision!
For the day of the Lord is near
in the valley of decision.
Revelation 19:1-10
1 After this I heard what seemed to be the loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, crying out,
“Hallelujah!
Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,
2
for his judgments are true and just;
for he has judged the great prostitute
who corrupted the earth with her immorality,
and has avenged on her the blood of his servants.”
3 Once more they cried out,
“Hallelujah!
The smoke from her goes up forever and ever.”
4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who was seated on the throne, saying, “Amen. Hallelujah!” 5 And from the throne came a voice saying,
“Praise our God,
all you his servants,
you who fear him,
small and great.”
6 Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out,
“Hallelujah!
For the Lord our God
the Almighty reigns.
7
Let us rejoice and exult
and give him the glory,
for the marriage of the Lamb has come,
and his Bride has made herself ready;
8
it was granted her to clothe herself
with fine linen, bright and pure”—
for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.
9 And the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.” 10 Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God.” For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
What would cause the negativity of the Just Judgment of Father God?
Being against God's Word and His Heaven and His purpose. Offering up false prophecy with false signs.
The Goodness of God is astonishing.
Those who seek Father God, will find Him.
God Loves us first.
We respect this love and we seek to Honor Father God.
Another wonder to me is the number and pervasiveness of animals in the Creation Waits portion of Heaven.
11 Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. 12 His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself. 13 He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God. 14 And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses.
In Heaven is for Real, Colton tells his parents, Jesus has a white Horse. It's interesting to find out donkeys are extremely loving and lovable. David rode his favorite Donkey as the humility of the anointed to be crowned King of Israel. Jesus rode His the day He was asked to be King on Psalm Sunday. However the disciples who record traveling with Jesus that day, report a foal also accompanied them. The horse was freely given when found to be needed by Jesus.
I love the congruence of the Scriptures written by many people in the same Holy Spirit. And hundreds of years apart. The Goodness of Jesus.
Father God, Let the many generations Praise the Lord,
and all nations!
God sends for His Truth and Grace, Goodness and Mercy for all His people.
For great is Father God's steadfast love toward us,
and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.
You are the Lord, we trust those we love to You in Your mercy and goodness. Praying their hearts know Your goodness and Love to comfort and help their days. That You will remain with us and we celebrate Your Glory.
You will be with us and never forsake us. In Jesus we will be strong and courageous, we will not turn to the right nor the left, we will not be frightened or dismayed and will keep reading the Word of God, Your Good News in Jesus Christ the Lord.
We ask You to cover us in the name of Jesus and Your mercy when we sin and fall in error. We ask You anoint the people who would follow Jesus to know His Word and live and move and have their being in Jesus and His Promises and Blessings. Help our attitudes, words and opinions be witness to You, Jesus.
We do not turn aside from following the Lord, but serve the Lord with all our heart. For the Lord will not forsake his people, for his great name's sake, because it has pleased the Lord to make you a people for himself. We will not cease to pray for you, and give us hearts turned to You and You will instruct us in the good and the right way. We will Love the Lord and serve him faithfully with all our heart. For consider what great things You, Father God, has done for us.
Praise the Lord! Blessed be Your Son Jesus. Amen.
