1 Corinthians 13
If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love,
I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.
But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
For we know in part
and we prophesy in part,
but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears.
When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me.
For now, we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face.
Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.
But the greatest of these is

Love
During this vexing, worrisome and boring year, with murder hornets and shark attacks on the east coast and Australia - where in Texas we are discussing 2 Hurricanes historically together. Maybe we need to look up to the skies and see as we did when we noticed the skies were blue again.
In fact, as I was putting this Post together - everyone seemed to be thinking together. How Supremely Lovely. Like Love. God is Love.
We applauded the First Responders. We protested peacefully. We heard the fierce and frightening reports of finances. We grew frustrated and overwhelmed. And the world gathered in awe to dream of more. More equality. More Love.
And suddenly we were appalled and horrified for the loss of dreams and the outbreak of violence. And found we were walking in the steps, Chapter and Verse of Exodus. Even the hornets. Love tells us this will calm down, let's not fail to dream of God's Actions Giving us New Opportunities for Change and Strength and Hope.
The thought going around inside me is from the art.
The art isn't for everyone, we all see within us differently, yet this art inspired me.
We have barely watched for goodness lately. We are stuffed into the moment. And yet feel mostly -not sullen - , mostly the desire to see those we love and are not seeing as often. We take chances with our health, seeing those we love. We hopefully feel empowered and not reckless. We still know twe have all been brave and see the outrageous in the news.
Instead, let's find the Steadfast Love - we truly are.
And thinking about who we are to the Lord God Almighty, our Father God, feel astonished to realize the Almighty upholding the Universe with His Word.

Imagine the Luke 2
8 And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. 10 And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
12 And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.”
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,
14 “Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”
Imagine this together:
Peter telling us of God's Word, angels long to look
God Himself - trusted, entrusted, had faith to bring, believed - to give us His Son. A child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. And this day Angels, who stand in the presence of God Himself, arrived in Israel and came to the field where Jesus would arrive as Light of the world.
And Behold, the immortals of God would see God's Banner over His Word.
And having walked with Jesus, Peter would explain to you.
1 Peter 1
May grace and peace be multiplied to you.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!
According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, 5 who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
6 In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, 7 so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Faith is unseen, by Faith we walk.
8 Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, 9 obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
10 Concerning this salvation,
the prophets who prophesied about the grace that was to be yours
searched and inquired carefully
Inquiring what person or time the Spirit of Christ in them was indicating when he predicted the sufferings of Christ and the subsequent glories.
It was revealed to them that they were serving not themselves but you,
in the things that have now been announced to you through those who preached the good news to you by the Holy Spirit sent from Heaven, things into which angels long to look.
13 Therefore, preparing your minds for action,
and being sober-minded,
set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ways.
Abba,
We pray for You to dwell within us in the Holy Spirit.
And, importantly, we pray for love to bloom in all lives to fill us
to keep us safe from the evil of being only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
We are asking for the gift of sharing what we have.
Letting Love be nourished. For all the world You have given Your Son to save.
We pray Angels long to look to find us giving Love.
Resolutely giving thanks this Election would produce ending divisions,
We pray for a good framework for God's Love. Your Blessings.
And here we would join with the Company of Heaven and Say. Amen.
United we stand Firmly for Liberty and Justice for All.
Help us to Seek You First,
Guiding us to open our eyes to You,
Your Heaven and Possibilities.
To bring Heaven - by call, act and to give others Heaven.
Jesus, Wonderful Jesus, Jesus praying for us daily.

and work according to His Purpose.
