Psalm 119:121-144
Psalm 119 was celebrated climbing the stairs of the Temple.

121 I have done what is righteous and just;
do not leave me to my oppressors.
122 Ensure your servant’s well-being;
do not let the arrogant oppress me.
123 My eyes fail, looking for your salvation,
looking for your righteous promise.
124 Deal with your servant according to your love
and teach me your decrees.
125 I am your servant; give me discernment
that I may understand your statutes.
126 It is time for you to act, Lord;
your law is being broken.
127 Because I love your commands
more than gold, more than pure gold,
128 and because I consider all your precepts right,
I hate every wrong path.

129 Your statutes are wonderful;
therefore I obey them.
130 The unfolding of your words gives light;
it gives understanding to the simple.

The Scala Sancta (Holy Stairs) are the 28 steps leading up to the Praetorian of Pontius Pilate, Antonia Fortress, in Jerusalem, where Jesus Christ stood during path to the Cross.

Short Version of Israeli-Palestinian Peace Bids
The Article begins in 1967, we start in year 2000.
2000 - Camp David Summit U.S. President Bill Clinton convenes Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak at Camp David. They fail to reach a final agreement. Another Palestinian uprising ensues.
2002-2003 - Bush Declaration/Arab peace initiative/Road Map
George W. Bush becomes first U.S. president to call for creation of a Palestinian state, living side-by-side with Israel “in peace and security”.
Saudi Arabia presents Arab League-endorsed peace plan for full Israeli withdrawal from occupied territory and Israel’s acceptance of a Palestinian state in return for normal relations with Arab countries.
The United States, the European Union, the United Nations and Russia present roadmap to a permanent two-state solution to the conflict amid a Palestinian uprising.
2007 - Annapolis Summit Bush hosts Middle East summit in Annapolis, Maryland. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert agree to resume talks. Olmert later says they were close to a deal but a corruption investigation against him and a Gaza war in 2008 scupper any agreement.
2009 - Netanyahu’s Bar-Ilan address
In a speech at Israel’s Bar-Ilan University, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he would be prepared for a peace agreement that includes establishment of a demilitarized Palestinian state. He also sets another condition: Palestinian recognition of Israel as the “state of the Jewish people”.
2010 - Israeli settlement freeze/talks resume - and end
Under U.S. pressure, Netanyahu imposes 10-month partial moratorium on West Bank settlement construction. Peace talks resume just before freeze ends and then break down after Netanyahu refuses to extend moratorium.
2013 - 2014 - Washington peace talks/negotiations collapse
U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry coaxes Israeli and Palestinian negotiators to resume peace talks. They go nowhere and are suspended in April 2014.
June 2019 - Trump economic plan announced
Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and the principal author of the Trump plan, launches its preliminary stage in Bahrain. He takes an “economy first” approach, calling for a $50 billion investment fund to boost the Palestinian and neighboring Arab state economies.

During election campaigns, Netanyahu says he intends to annex West Bank settlements, and much of the Jordan Valley if elected. Later, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo effectively backs Israel’s claimed right to build Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank by abandoning the four-decade-old U.S. position that they were inconsistent with international law.

Annexation “would deal a death blow to the two-state solution,” said UAE Foreign Minister Anwar Gargash. “The UAE is using its gravitas, its promise of a relationship to try to really unscrew a time bomb that is threatening a two-state solution."
Israel and the United Arab Emirates agreed Thursday to end decades of enmity in a historic deal announced by President Trump that would put Israeli annexation of West Bank lands on hold as a condition of normalizing relations.
The two nations have agreed to normalize relations, allowing travel, commerce and, eventually, the opening of diplomatic offices. Representatives of both countries will meet soon to begin signing agreements, a joint statement said.
The agreement makes the UAE only the third Arab country to currently have diplomatic relations with the Jewish nation, after Egypt and Jordan recognized Israel’s right to exist decades ago, and it unites Israel with a powerful Persian Gulf ally of Washington that shares the view of Iran as an enemy.
“By uniting two of America’s closest and most capable partners in the region — something which [was] said could not be done — this deal is a significant step towards building a more peaceful, secure and prosperous Middle East,” Trump said at the White House.
Netanyahu, appearing before reporters in Jerusalem, hailed the agreement as the greatest advance toward peace in the Arab world in decades. The deal was struck, he said, without Israel having to give up territory that it has effectively controlled for more than 50 years of conflict with the Palestinians. “Who would have ever dreamed there would be a peace agreement with an Arab country without our returning to the 1967 borders,” Netanyahu said. “Israel and the UAE are two of the most advanced countries in the world, and together we can transform the region.”
With the region’s two most capable militaries, common concerns about terrorism and aggression, and a deep and long relationship with the United States, the UAE and Israel could form closer and more effective security cooperation, Israel’s West Bank annexation stalls, for now, amid pandemic and political distractions.
Trump said that he has lowered tension in the Middle East.
Historically when Israel gives up land, there will be war.
