In Houston, the Silent Majority fed Hurricane Katrina evacuees for a year. Who was this?
The Church.
Even in the suburbs,
Churches fed the evacuees for a year, not just at the Large Stadiums, but in the Hotels too.
Here in our suburb, we fed two hotels for an entire year.
As the extended family left, to return to New Orleans and new building jobs,
the former evacuees fed our Church a BBQ Dinner as heart felt, "Thank You."
Like Hurricane Harvey, when this area needed relief - who voted for the RELIEF?
Living in the Houston area for 20 years, we've seen this area given many opportunities practicing Recovery. And yet, we all have told ourselves all year, "I'm fine. I'm fine. I'm fine." Only to discover we are all facing what is repeated over and over, "This has been a WEIRD year." We all have Stress. God Bless us all to deal gently with each other and to be kind to ourselves. 1 Corinthians 13.

In Houston, the Silent Majority fed Hurricane Katrina evacuees for a year. Who was this?
The Church.
Even in the suburbs,
