Jeremiah 23:7-8
7“Therefore, behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when they shall no longer say, ‘As the Lord lives who brought up the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt,’ 8 but ‘As the Lord lives who brought up and led the offspring of the house of Israel out of the north country and out of all the countries where he had driven them.’ Then they shall dwell in their own land.”
Moses and Jeremiah prophesied about changing the story, changing History to make people feel uncomfortable and more comfortable with the current philosophies.
Fake news. Misfire stories. Stories untold. If we believe the worst of mankind, of ourselves, will we have the proper level of hope? We need to know what we do to melt God's heart, to understand His love for us.
We want to avoid being the squeaky geek to lead the charge. Looks ineffective. It's risky to stand up like that in front of your colleagues. Pray for us all to have personal courage. Because really there are good people willing. If they have Jesus, the Good Shepherd, to pull us together.
Jeremiah points out earnestly wanting to know Scriptures - as we are - is a sign of hope.
When we admit we are not perfect people and need Jesus to be our righteousness.
There is hope. When we see people have changed denominations looking for the Scripture to be preached as an Authoritative Word of God - this is wonderful and this is - This Generation.
This week, we have all wanted Ukraine to be free. The world has watched and prayed. Making some uncomfortable to be willing to pray for what looks doomed. Like the tank running over the elderly man, we saw the violence of deliberate doom.
The Daily Beast, BBC and TMZ have shown video footage, matching the original video, from different aspects, saying the elderly man has survived and is conscious. The Ukrainians stepped up and worked to save the man from his collapsed car.
Father God,
We ask You for Peace for Ukraine.
For the full recovery of this elderly man run over by a Russian tank.
Miraculously alive. Fully helped by those committed to stay
and fight for his life on war torn streets.
Thank You for Hope,
in Jesus Christ.
Amen.
Lord Jesus is willing - help us to be willing. In His precious name. Amen.
Adoptions
Clearly, the USA has adopted the Ukraine Struggle
and has held Ukraine in their heart.
Just as the UK and France have done this as well.
This outpouring of care was also seen, nation for nation,
when Notre Dame burned in Paris.
Our country, has more adoptions per 100 births than any other country on earth. People want to love children. God tells us in the Gospel - this is a good and godly aspect.
When we say that marriage does matter. Loyalty and vows. Covenant is rare, but marriage is covenant. You are rarely asked in Church to stand up and vow your life before God. We put the interests of our Word and Promise to God as something needed. That is important! This is very basic structure to our framework of our existence as a People. People who need God.
We need to make sure we are the generation that doesn't shrug away what the Word of God says. Even as we understand that the Law of Jesus is Spirit to worship in our heart knowing what He says is Love. The Spirit of God is for Peace. The Spirit of God makes a Path to bring forward the way He gave each of us with His Plan and Gifts.
God Loves Billy Graham. He has seen the last Chapter and knew it was going to turn out ok.
Let's turn out ok, ourselves, and bring this chapter to a Higher Path for Him.
Love is going to be a peacemaker and a blessing for those who call upon Jesus, believe in their hearts and profess with their mouths. Jesus will be our righteousness. Jesus help us take our lives and others to a Higher Path.
What are the Facts of USA Adoptions?
The Census recently made this far more clear.
International Adoptions are dramatically down, due to barriers of expense and new laws.
4% only of unwed Mothers put babies up for adoption.
So, Adoption is Ruined Now?
No, Adoptions is pervasive today in the USA.
How many Americans have adopted a child?
One out of every 25 U.S. families with children have an adopted child. According to the U.S. Census, about half of these have both biological and adopted children. Although no more than 2% of Americans have actually adopted, more than 1/3 have considered it. 2% is one in 25 families.
Around 7 million Americans are adopted

How many children are adopted each year?
Around 140,000 children are adopted by American families each year.
How common is adoption?
Nearly 100 million Americans have adoption in their immediate family, whether this includes adopting, placing, or being adopted.
6 in 10 Americans have had personal experience with adoption, meaning that they themselves, a family member, or a close friend was adopted, had adopted a child, or had placed a child for adoption.
What is the average age of an adopted child in a private adoption?
62% were placed with their adoptive families within a month of birth.
How many children are adopted per year?
About 135,000 children are adopted in the United States each year. Of non-stepparent adoptions, about 59% are from the child welfare (or foster) system, 26% are from other countries, and 15% are voluntarily relinquished American babies.
How many people are waiting to adopt a child?
There are no national statistics on how many people are waiting to adopt, but experts estimate it is somewhere between one and two million couples. Every year, there are about 1.3 million abortions. Only 4% of women with unwanted pregnancies place their children through adoption.

How many children are available for adoption in the United States?
There are 107,918 foster children eligible for and waiting to be adopted. In 2014, 50,644 foster kids were adopted — a number that has stayed roughly consistent for the past five years. My Grandmother Anita adopted my uncle Jimmy. This would have been 1929 when adoption was considered to be as terrible as (whisper the word, cancer). The entire family was not supportive of the adoption due to the fact Jimmy was special needs. He was probably Fragile X Syndrome and cried for a long time.
Jimmy went out into the world and as he aged, he was not so employable. He returned home to live with my Grandmother Anita at age 40 or so. And when he returned, he enabled my grandmother to live at home until she was almost 90 years of age. Jimmy wasn't so fond of Christian people, probably due to societies' views of adoption and the fact Jimmy was loud, opinionated and special needs. My grandmother said she would always pray for her son. And at age 70, Anita must have danced in Heaven as Jimmy accepted Jesus after reading, "Purpose Driven Life." Jimmy changed vastly. He no longer hummed with anger. Adoption isn't always easy, it's just tremendously worthwhile.
Grandmother Anita had so many good qualities, but the most rewarding part of her life, would be Jimmy. Grandmother saved Jimmy, and Jimmy ended up saving Grandmother. One didn't benefit more than the other.
Jimmy wasn't an infant adoption, he was adopted when he was closer to 4 years old. He was an adoption reject from the first adoption. And this is when we would think about Foster Adoptions. Grandmother was just as in love with Jimmy as she was with her one biological child, my mother. An infant isn't needed to become part of the family as a biological child.
If we are going to adopt
Love for Ukraine
and pray for people far away with such care
we could go
even
further
and provide homes
for Foster Children.

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.

Hebrews 12:11-15
11 For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant,
but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness
to those who have been trained by it.
Therefore lift
your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees,
and make straight paths for your feet,
so that what is lame may not be put out of joint
but
rather
be healed!
14 Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
