Matthew 3:13-17
13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to John, to be baptized by him.
14 John would have prevented him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?”
15 But Jesus answered him, “Let it be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.”
Then he consented.
16 And when Jesus was baptized, immediately he went up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on Him
17 And behold, a voice from heaven said,
“This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
“This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
God the Father spoke, Let there be Light. Jesus is the Light of the world. Light of the nations. Light of mankind. Light of Heaven. The Holy Spirit moved above the waters in creation. And in the First Easter, The Holy Spirit will not leave or forsake us.
The news tells us we have trouble. Families have seen trouble. Employment has met new challenges. Churches have new outreaches being implemented. Neighbors interact more since houses aren't for sale.
What will we do with our concerns? We will integrate our thoughts with being cheerful to the Lord. We will pray more and believe Good is coming. We will say this to ourselves:
Psalm 113
Praise the Lord!
Praise, O servants of the Lord,
praise the name of the Lord!
2 Blessed be the name of the Lord
from this time forth and forevermore!
3 From the rising of the sun to its setting,
the name of the Lord is to be praised!
4 The Lord is high above all nations,
and his glory above the heavens!
5 Who is like the Lord our God,
who is seated on high,
6 who looks far down
on the heavens and the earth?
7 He raises the poor from the dust
and lifts the needy from the ash heap,
8 to make them sit with princes,
with the princes of his people.
9 He gives the barren woman a home,
making her the joyous mother of children.

From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets,
the name of the LORD is to be praised.
We are going to put faith in the Lord. God is answering prayers and hearing before we ask.
Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good,
for His steadfast Love endures forever.
JESUS THE LORD. Gratitude puts us in His ability to Hear the Lord. We must search for a Spiritually alive moment in our lives, when our prayer was answered so personally. Nothing but His Hand.
