My great uncle Wm Carey Graves was the majority leader of the Texas Senate for 16 years and Governor of Texas for an entire day. The Governor stepped away from Texas. And politics is usually a short-term employer. Time and winds change. Of course, some are in Politics for the duration, but not many.
1 Corinthians 3:9-17
9 For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's field, God's building.
10 According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it. 11 For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw— 13 each one's work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. 14 If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone's work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.
16 Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? 17 If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.
Like Ray Charles, we all have the opportunity to reinvent our lives. Unlike votes and ticket sales, God is much more merciful. And is more likely to do the impossible!
We have survived another season of voting. There are many improvements to the system that could be made. If we have faith in the Lord, we will work together better. The further we get away from the Pandemic, the more reason and hope we will have. Scriptures repeat and so does History of Pandemic.
We are the Lord God Almighty's Beloved. And Jesus is our Savior as His gift to us.
Revelation 19:1
After these things
I heard something like a loud voice of a great multitude in Heaven, saying,
“Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power
belong to our God!"
Abba, Father,
We look to You for Your Blessing and Favor
Please cover this Nation in the Highest Name of Jesus Christ, Savior.
Holy is Your Name, Jesus.
Dwell in us
Dwell in those we Love
Help us to Seek You first
In Jesus, we will finish well.
We pray for more Heaven on earth
and to see each day Your Blessings,
Give us the day.
Help us to be the seeds and the
effort to bring forth
daily Bread
with Jesus Christ
our Living Bread.
Merciful Father,
in Jesus, forgive us our trespass
and allow us Your Grace and Mercy
to live with only trespass
and not all the problems of
Leviticus and Deuteronomy.
In Jesus we hope for the Blessings
You've given in Your Word,
lead us out of temptation
and deliver us from evil.
Not in our own righteousness
but in Your Mercy,
Yours is the Kingdom
Yours is the Power
Yours is the Glory.
