Isaiah 40
Comfort, comfort my people, says your God.
Speak tenderly to Jerusalem,
and cry to her
that her warfare is ended,
that her iniquity is pardoned,
that she has received from the Lord's hand
double for all her sins.
Isaiah 27:6
In the days to come, Jacob will take root.
Israel will bud and blossom
and fill the whole world with fruit.
A voice cries:
“In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord;
make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
Every valley shall be lifted up,
and every mountain and hill be made low;
the uneven ground shall become level,
and the rough places a plain.
And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed,
and all flesh shall see it together,
for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
A voice says, “Cry!”
And I said, “What shall I cry?”
All flesh is grass,
and all its beauty is like the flower of the field.
The grass withers, the flower fades
when the breath of the Lord blows on it;
surely the people are grass.
The grass withers, the flower fades,
but
The Word of our God
will stand
forever.
O Zion, herald of good news;
lift up your voice with strength,
O Jerusalem, herald of good news;
lift it up, fear not;
say to the cities of Judah,
“Behold your God!”
Behold, the Lord God comes with might,
and His arm rules for him;
behold, His reward is with him,
and His recompense before him.
He will tend His flock like a shepherd;
He will gather the lambs in his arms;
He will carry them in his bosom,
and gently lead those that are with young.
Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His Hand
and marked off the heavens with a span,
enclosed the dust of the earth in a measure
and weighed the mountains in scales
and the hills in a balance?
Who has measured the Spirit of the Lord,
or what man shows Him his counsel?
Whom did He consult,
and who made him understand?
Who taught Him the path of justice,
and taught Him knowledge,
and showed Him the way of understanding?
Revelation 4:6
Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass,
clear as crystal.
In the center, around the throne
Revelation 21: 1
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth,
for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away,
and the sea was no more.
Behold, the nations are like a drop from a bucket,
and are accounted
as the dust on the scales
Behold, He takes up the coastlands like fine dust.
Lebanon would not suffice for fuel,
nor are its beasts enough for a burnt offering.
All the nations are as nothing before Him,
they are accounted by Him
as less than nothing and emptiness.
To whom then will you liken God,
or what likeness compare with Him?
An idol! A craftsman casts it,
and a goldsmith overlays it with gold
and casts for it silver chains
he who is too impoverished for an offering
chooses wood that will not rot;
he seeks out a skillful craftsman
to set up an idol that will not move.
Do you not know? Do you not hear?
Has it not been told you from the beginning?
Have you not understood
from the foundations of the earth?
It is He who sits above the circle of the earth,
and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers;
who stretches out the heavens like a curtain,
and spreads them like a tent to dwell in;
who brings princes to nothing,
and makes the rulers of the earth as emptiness.
perhaps Temple of Jerusalem gold
Scarcely are they planted, scarcely sown,
scarcely has their stem taken root in the earth,
when he blows on them, and they wither,
and the tempest carries them off like stubble.
To whom then will you compare me,
that I should be like him? says the Holy One.
Lift up your eyes on high and see:
Who created these?
He who brings out their host by number,
calling them all by name;
by the greatness of His might
and because He is strong in power,
not one is missing.
Why do you say, O Jacob,
and speak, O Israel,
“My way is hidden from the Lord,
and my right is disregarded by my God”?
Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary;
His understanding is unsearchable.
He gives power
to the faint,
and to him who has no might
He increases strength.
Even youths shall faint and be weary,
and young men shall fall exhausted;
but
they who wait for the Lord
shall renew their strength
They shall mount up
with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint.
All have sinned and fallen short of His Glory
Revelation 21:23-27
The glory of God gives it light,
and its lamp is the Lamb.
By its light will the nations walk,
and the kings of the earth
will bring their glory into it,
and its gates will never be shut by day—and there will be no night there.
They will bring into it the glory
and the honor of the nations.
But nothing unclean will ever enter it,
nor anyone who does
what is detestable or false,
but only those
who are written
in the Lamb's Book of Life.
How do we know gravity does not exist in Heaven? Do Angels fly?
The parents of Samson knew!
Judges 13
6 Then the woman came and told her husband, “A man of God came to me, and his appearance was like the appearance of the angel of God, very awesome. I did not ask him where he was from, and he did not tell me his name, 7 but he said to me, ‘Behold, you shall conceive and bear a son. So then drink no wine or strong drink, and eat nothing unclean, for the child shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb to the day of his death.’”
8 Then Manoah prayed to the Lord and said,
“O Lord, please let the man of God whom you sent come again to us and teach us what we are to do with the child who will be born.”
9 And God listened to the voice of Manoah, and the angel of God came again to the woman as she sat in the field. But Manoah her husband was not with her. 10 So the woman ran quickly and told her husband, “Behold, the man who came to me the other day has appeared to me.” 11 And Manoah arose and went after his wife and came to the man and said to him, “Are you the man who spoke to this woman?”
And He said, “I am.”
12 And Manoah said, “Now when your words come true, what is to be the child's manner of life, and what is his mission?”
13 And the angel of the Lord said to Manoah, “Of all that I said to the woman let her be careful. 1
4 She may not eat of anything that comes from the vine,
neither let her drink wine or strong drink, or eat any unclean thing.
All that I commanded her let her observe.”
15 Manoah said to the angel of the Lord, “Please let us detain you and prepare a young goat for you.” 16 And the angel of the Lord said to Manoah, “If you detain me, I will not eat of your food. But if you prepare a burnt offering, then offer it to the Lord.” (For Manoah did not know that he was the angel of the Lord.)
17 And Manoah said to the angel of the Lord, “What is your name, so that,
your words come true, we may honor you?”
18 And the angel of the Lord said to him, “Why do you ask my name, seeing it is Wonderful?”
19 So Manoah took the young goat with the grain offering, and offered it on the rock to the Lord, to the one who works wonders, and Manoah and his wife were watching.
20 And when the flame went up toward heaven from the altar,
the angel of the Lord went up in the flame of the altar.
Now Manoah and his wife were watching,
and they fell on their faces to the ground.
The Angel of the Lord
Abba, Father,
Blessed be the Lord God of Israel,
for He has visited and redeemed His people
and has raised up a horn of salvation for us
in the house of his servant David
As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from of old,
that we should be saved from our enemies
and from the hand of all who hate us;
to show the mercy promised to our fathers
and to remember His Holy Covenant
The oath that He swore to our father Abraham,
to grant us
that we, being delivered from the hand of our enemies,
might serve Him without fear
In holiness and righteousness before Him
all our days.
And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High;
for you will go before the Lord to prepare His ways,
to give knowledge of salvation to His people
in the forgiveness of their sins,
because of the tender mercy
of our God.
Whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high
to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death,
to guide our feet into the way of peace.
Blessed be the Highest Name of Jesus Christ
Bless the Holy Spirit as the Light of mankind
Light of the Nations
Light of Heaven
Blessed be our Father
bringing us His exact nature
in Jesus Christ,
Lamb of God
Savior of the world
Forever
and ever.
Alleluia Amen!
