Isaiah 45:8-10
Let the earth open up and salvation bear fruit,
And righteousness spring up with it.
I, the LORD, have created it.
God does not vary, He is the same Steadfast Love yesterday, today and tomorrow. And in the Celebration God has in Creation -
God said, "Let there be Light!"
Christmas
Luke 19:28
"I tell you," He replied, "if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out."
Before deciding Christmas is a marketing and retail event, decide in faith all mankind is part of the Light of Jesus Christ. Scripture assures us every single person, soul, will see Jesus Christ Triumphant. And wonder if Christmas isn't to call His Light into souls giving with loving intentions. God does what He does in plain sight, without Trumpets until the Close.
The paths of God, He calls the work of mankind, are filled with internal Love, Joy, Peace and Hope. This hope lifts us from the Second Law of Thermodynamics. Events of every day irritation and dismay.
Isaiah 51:6
Lift up your eyes to the heavens,
and look at the earth beneath
For the heavens vanish
like smoke, the earth will wear out like a garment,
and they who dwell in it will die in like manner
However
My salvation will be forever,
and My righteousness will never be dismayed.
God lifts up Ecclesiastes House to the Gospels of Love and Encouragement in Jesus Christ.
Ecclesiastes 1:9
What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done,
and there is nothing new under the sun.
After World War II, the Cathedrals of Europe began to become empty. And God is bringing new life. The Celebration of Genesis, when God gave Light to the world. Light to dwell in mankind. The Allies are celebrating with Europe.
The Return of a type of Festival of Booths.
This might not be the Christmas that The Bells Rang the Most. And I think a lot of people are discouraged. And yet, Salvation is winning. The Plan of God is easy for Him to achieve.
Jesus told us in the Gospels, oil in the lamp was put there by mankind determined to go the distant, to the finish.
Hanukkah is found in the Greek portion of the Bible, given in the First Council of Nicaea. The first four chapters of Maccabees describe the horror of war, occupation and being directed to leave belief for a new set of rules for mankind. We don't even touch the carnage of 165 B.C. Judea. Hanukkah is something Christians love to consider. The great works of God, Moses, Elijah and despair with enduring faith produced Bravery, Endurance and Eventual Victory.
Colossians 3:17
Philippians 4:8
Finally, brothers, whatever is true,
whatever is honorable,
whatever is just,
whatever is pure,
whatever is lovely,
whatever is commendable,
if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise,
think
about these things.
Colossians 3:17
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed,
do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
What will we call the opportunity to Celebrate Life During the time of Christ's Mass?
Cathedrals were built and in the Blessing of the Dedication - people like Charlemagne are mentioned. Consider how many prayers have been given for almost a thousand years for the lives inside and outside of Cathedrals. In Churches everywhere.
Now Apply this Scripture to the reawakening of Christmas in Booths. Prayers answered are the joy of God our Father. So many prayers said for Churches, Steeples and all the People. So many hearts for the Lord Jesus, born in the mess of life to an unwed mother in harsh travels in a barn. With the promise of Love and family. And Jesus gave them Acts 1 and Acts 2 - praying together daily and sharing.
Luke 1
13 But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zechariah, for your prayer has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.
14 And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth, 15 for he will be great before the Lord. And he must not drink wine or strong drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb. 16 And he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God, 17 and he will go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready for the Lord a people prepared.”
18 And Zechariah said to the angel, “How shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is advanced in years.” 19 And the angel answered him, “I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I was sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news. 20 And behold, you will be silent and unable to speak until the day that these things take place, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled in their time.” 21 And the people were waiting for Zechariah, and they were wondering at his delay in the temple. 22 And when he came out, he was unable to speak to them, and they realized that he had seen a vision in the temple. And he kept making signs to them and remained mute. 23 And when his time of service was ended, he went to his home.
24 After these days his wife Elizabeth conceived
John 8:12
Again Jesus spoke to them, saying,
“I am the light of the world.
Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness,
but will have
the light of life.”
