Isaiah 42:1-3
“Behold, my servant whom I have chosen,
my beloved with whom my soul is well pleased.
I will put my Spirit upon Him,
and He will proclaim justice to the Gentiles.
He will not quarrel or cry aloud,
nor will anyone hear His voice in the streets;
a bruised reed He will not break,
and a smoldering wick He will not quench,
until He will faithfully bring forth justice
Faithfully, our Savior:
Jesus especially trusts people who trust Him for solutions and miracles.
Jesus, just like His Father, wants His People to Expect Good from Him. The Ten Talents.
Jesus once told us the story of the persistent woman with the Judge. Jesus expects to answer those who keep asking. He forgives us for thinking He is the disinterested and self-interested Judge. Busy Judge.

Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.
Jesus doesn't expect us to treat Him as a waiter. The woman of faith, asking Jesus for healing for her daughter, knew Him to be Sovereign.
Abba, Father,
Jesus gave His Father
a new Heaven and a new earth.
We know God heard Hannah. We know God helped Judith,
Deborah.
Jesus fills His life with the lowly and unlikely.
Mary Magdalene, His own mother Mary,
we see recorded, later, in Scripture, His aunts, the Samaritan woman,
and the Phoenician woman. Jesus was changing the world,
Bishop Barron points out, Eve to Ava.
The daughter of Jairus, only just a girl child.
The prayers of the unlikely were heard.
Thank You, Jesus Christ Lord.
For answering our prayers.
We will Trust in You. Amen.
