Matthew 12:7-13
‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the guiltless. 8 For the Son of Man is lord of the Sabbath. 9
He went on from there and entered their synagogue. 10 And a man was there with a withered hand. And they asked Him, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”—so that they might accuse Him.
11 He said to them, “Which one of you who has a sheep, if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not take hold of it and lift it out? 12 Of how much more value is a man than a sheep! So it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.”
13 Then he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.”
And the man stretched it out, and it was restored, healthy like the other.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
For everything there is a season,
and a time for every matter
under heaven:
2 a time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
3 a time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 a time to seek, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 a time to tear, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 a time to love, and a time to hate;
a time for war, and a time for peace.
The Season of Jesus' Life
is Mercy
Abundant Mercy
Scriptures tell us, in Isaiah 7, the time of Jesus' visitation was well planned out by Our Father.
And Jesus describes the time in:
Luke 11:29
And when the multitudes were gathering together unto him, he began to say, This generation is an evil generation: it seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it but the sign of Jonah.
Matthew 17:16-18
16 And I brought him to your disciples, and they could not heal him. 17 And Jesus answered, “O faithless and twisted generation, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him here to me.” 18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him, and the boy was healed instantly.
Luke 11 is irony. There were so many signs of Jesus, the Dead Sea Scroll records the similarity to the Messiah. John 21 says so many signs, the world and all the books couldn't record all the signs of Jesus.
Deuteronomy 28:47
Serve the Lord your God
with joyfulness and gladness of heart,
because of the abundance of all things
Deuteronomy 12:7
There, in the presence of the LORD your God,
you and your households
shall eat and rejoice in all you do,
because the LORD your God has blessed you.
Psalm 100:2
Serve the LORD with gladness!
Come into His presence with singing!
We remember with Joy the Love Jesus did not withhold from His People. Jesus did not want His Beloved to think of His life as without supreme Joy. And Jesus is the Exact Nature of His Father.
Never, never, never forget Jesus did not whitewash the truth of the difficulty of the time, the season of evil. Jesus knew what Righteousness was and evil. And in His Love, he healed what was broken to strengthen this for Righteousness.
This is our God!

Dwell, fully, in those we love
Help us to seek You
