Matthew 8:16-17
That evening they brought to Him
many who were oppressed by demons,
and
He cast out the spirits with a Word
and
healed all
who were sick.
This was
to fulfill
what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah:
“He took our illnesses
and
bore our diseases.”
As I have told you, our children moved far away, and we heard they would not be coming for holidays because travel is too crowded.
And in November, I had Covid, for 3 weeks of recovery, then, December, norovirus, giving Edward norovirus on Christmas. Then, in January, we calmed back down for Edward to have an internal bleed, putting him 'immediately' into the Critical Care portion of Methodist Hospital. Returning home, in 4 days, Edward had Covid and would Not eat. My neighbors sent around a text praying for healing. Within the hour, the fever healed, Thank God, Edward sat up and ate, and the next day was completely well, according to the Covid Test. (We also learned home tests for Covid expire within a year and give false negatives until the doctor's test says, Yes, you do have Covid.)
So that week, February, we were walking the dogs! And our little one was urging me to keep up, so, I ran, tripped over a huge Pine root, became airborne, briefly skied through the air about 15 feet and landed, behind the motorboat doggie, on a gigantic root. This airborne accident blew out a vein in my left hand and still have the healing Hematoma. Not a small thing.
Then I had an allergy to Construction drywall, February, March, went to the doctor several times, lost ALL hearing in one ear for over a week. Had an ear blockage, which the doctor removed. I have been on more Prednisone and antibiotics than I had stomach lining. To the acute hearing, I rattled from the meds I took for over 2 weeks with a change in meds during this time. And a double middle ear, adult, infection. I'm sure I felt so terrible due to the meds being so many, as well as just tired of being ill.
Saturday, we ate at the airport, which has a 6-story stairway. For the first time, I took 3 stops to breathe.
Usually, one of the times, I pray, is when I am brushing my teeth.
There is just something good about refreshing and praying. All most always, I am very cheerful and uplifted as I finish this.
And these last few weeks, I have prayed a prayer God has uplifted me.
When I am talking with The Lord, and I ask for uplifting and help, I visualize jumping. Actually, I visualize myself leaping. A small jump with Joy. And I feel immediately better. Reaching up for attitude and health! Thank You, Father in Jesus Christ.
And then, I pray for my prayer list, for everyone to have healing and hope. Joy. An attitude of Joy and gratitude. Healing.
And we will carry this Healing of Jesus to Easter and Beyond!
Jesus Ascends and with Him, we do as well.
A peace within.
Real Joy and Giving Thanks.
Abba, Father,
In Your Holy Spirit
we ask forgiveness for sins,
and Your help for forgiveness
and guidance
create and renew Real Joy and Giving Thanks
create and renew Real Joy and Giving Thanks
within us.
Help us to be the one who
gives thanks with meaningful purpose.
Victory is Certain in Christ Jesus The Lord.
And to gain strength
with hope and health!
Dwell in us, Father,
we ask in the Highest Name of Jesus.
Dwell, fully, in those we love
Help us to seek You
first
and we will finish well
in Jesus Christ.
