John 15:11 ~ These things

John 15:11

These things I have spoken to you,

that my joy may be in you,
and that your joy may be full.

When we say pick our cross for Jesus. That sounds harsh. I'm immediately reminded of stories southerners tell of men who embarrassed their families carrying a literal cross through town. And then you wonder what the fruit is and if you will be the one who has to carry your cross profoundly sadly. Probably not the most sought-after idea in Scripture.

However - God is for mercy more than He is for Sacrifice. Jesus is God and we are never going to walk on water in this life. We will never have the joy of healing the blind and the deaf. We will see prayers of Jesus and Father provide healing.

What we do need to do is establish our Joy in God Himself.

Where is your willingness - your joy - your delight in Jesus?

The woman wearing the silver cross and blue shirt in the photo, kicked off an enormous debate in the U.K., in 2013, to be able to wear her cross.

Many people said she should change jobs away from the airline. The courts upheld her right to her belief in Jesus and to wear the cross.

Another woman -Audrey Jarvis, a liberal arts major, asked until she received permission to wear her cross necklace. Her boss at Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, California said no. Sonoma State University said, “It was absolutely an inappropriate action for him to make that request of her,” the representative said, noting that the school’s president, Ruben Arminana is trying, through Kashack, to reach Jarvis for an apology. She spoke up and spoke up to wear her cross.

You have to love this persistence for something wonderful.

5 years ago we said 1/3 of the World population is Christian, our largest Christian world. Today we worry about birth rates of Muslims and Christians.  The birth rates of most Catholic nations are just as high as Muslim countries. The rest of the world is 12 to 16 babies as compared to 25 per 100 in the more populous religions. Billy Graham said this best - it's all going to work out. The Last Chapter of the Book is alive and active.

At the last Bible Study I attended, a third of the smaller group - about towards the end of all the Bible Study weeks - did say how they worship at home. This is after all  - deeply held conviction. In a major and growing denomination, of 8 women - 3 take prayer and prayer and then make communion at home. As Abraham or David might have minus the Theology Degree. This inward beauty is not just plastered about. Held tenderly as a practice to be closer to God. And yet - longing to help others have this internal and eternal Love.

We take our life's experiences and find a way to tell about how we really Love Jesus. Carefully choosing. I have a small fish with a cross on my car. And this year someone taking something out to my car said, "I like your fish and cross!" "Body of Christ!" "Body of Jesus Christ!" It's a lot like the First Century. This shared warmth. I love people to tell me, "I will pray for you." And as we left our Vacation Cruise, our concierge Armondo, put his hand on my shoulder and got misty-eyed and said, "I will miss you, God bless you."

These shared moments showing us How Deep and How Wide and How Fervently and How Dearly God has placed the Light of Mankind in us - today.

The Light of Christ is in all of mankind - John 1

Yes.
We are sure we are supposed to tell non-believers of Jesus Christ. Yes.
There is Adventure to be had in having on a cross - even on your car. We miss The Communion of Saints - goes far. Very far. The people of Jesus are the spiritual union of the members of the Christian Church. The Eternal Body of Christ living and the dead, those on earth, in heaven.

I heard on the radio of a man who loved to sing to Christian Radio and forgot his windows were all down and he was belting out the Song of Praise. The woman next to him rolled down her windows, had on the same radio station and they had a few minutes of Praise of God's Love. Wonder what they were singing?

Abundant - what God gives - Life.

With all heartfelt sincerity
Cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never, Never, Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, Serve the Lord.

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people.

When we say we will carry the Cross of Jesus - we are also saying in our heart. Jesus as God's Son is the only one called to the Salvation of mankind. He is Worthy. Carry the cross - in your heart.

When we say our God is a consuming fire. We are saying our mind, our soul, our heart will carry Jesus with us with Great Love and Joy until our heart beats slowly and has burned out in the consuming fire and revives in our Eternal Home. A campfire of the warmth of God's Beauty has provided to our Thanks.

When we say Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith, we carry this Love given to us - to share and rejoice and be humbled by His Grace.

And in the long road and in the warmth He brings to our hearts, we pray together that you and I and the people coming to God's love now and babies to be born and loved - are being rooted and grounded in love we may have power in Love, Hope and faith for the Joy and Peace God's Love brings.

As we live the consuming fire - together with all the saints, to comprehend in each of us the length and width and height and depth of His love. In faith, we fan the flame to know God saves the world today for mankind. The love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Amen in Jesus Christ.who alone is our Great Savior. Amen.

Luke 7:11-17 ~ Jesus gave

Nain Vintage Photos

Luke 7:11-17

11 Soon afterward he went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a great crowd went with him.

12 As he drew near to the gate of the town, behold, a man who had died was being carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow, and a considerable crowd from the town was with her. 13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her and said to her, "Do not weep."

14 Then he came up and touched the bier, and the bearers stood still. And he said, "Young man, I say to you, arise." 15 And the dead man sat up and began to speak, and Jesus gave him to his mother.

16 Fear seized them all, and they glorified God, saying, "A great prophet has arisen among us!" and "God has visited his people!" 17 And this report about him spread through the whole of Judea and all the surrounding country.

Imagine what Jesus was seeing.

Vintage Capernaum

Luke 7  starts in Capernaum to Nain - 40 something miles.

Nazareth is part of the neighborhood

Nazareth to Nain about 20 something miles.

The miracles of Jesus feed the multitudes - for Millenniums. The Disciples told Jesus on the way to Emmaus, all of Israel knew. The truth is the world knows Jesus for 2,000 years.

Jesus was seeing more than we can imagine.

Jesus gave far more than we can fathom.

Isaiah 66:22
"For just as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, will endure before Me," declares the LORD, "so your descendants and your name will endure."

Jesus tells us we are never forsaken. Look at the area Jesus has traveled - He is in his area. With His People. As Jesus sailed the Sea of Galilee, He could be seen doing His Father's Word and Ministry. Today, Jesus is dwelling in us. In us as the Holy Spirit.

Dwelling in a New Heaven with us in a new Covenant earth.

We Thank You, Father God, for Your diligence and Your love and care. We give You Thanks for Your many blessings. And look each day to see You are our Strength. Let us renew ourselves in Jesus the Lord. Amen.

Matthew 9:1-8 ~ glorify God

Matthew 9:1-8

1 And getting into a boat he crossed over and came to his own city.

2 And behold, some people brought to him a paralytic, lying on a bed. And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Take heart, my son; your sins are forgiven."

3 And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, "This man is blaspheming." 4 But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, "Why do you think evil in your hearts? 5 For which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Rise and walk'? 6 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins"--he then said to the paralytic--"Rise, pick up your bed and go home."

7 And he rose and went home. 8 When the crowds saw it, they were afraid, and they glorified God, who had given such authority to men.

Mark 9:1-8

1 And he said to them, "Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God after it has come with power."

2 And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James and John, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. And he was transfigured before them, 3 and his clothes became radiant, intensely white, as no one on earth could bleach them.

4 And there appeared to them Elijah with Moses, and they were talking with Jesus. 5 And Peter said to Jesus, "Rabbi, it is good that we are here. Let us make three tents, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah." 6 For he did not know what to say, for they were terrified.

7 And a cloud overshadowed them, and a voice came out of the cloud, "This is my beloved Son; listen to him."

8 And suddenly, looking around, they no longer saw anyone with them but Jesus only.

When we consider the Gospels - we have the vantage point of seeing the Gospel truth of Eyewitness Matthew and Mark speaking to Peter. Peter called Mark his son. Now, does this count - this Gospel confirmed by the Nicean Council of 325 A.D. making Christianity the primary Religion of the Roman Empire? Yes and we can see History and the Bible fit together.

The Roman Republic is started in 500 BC. The same time Israel/Judea was going into exile and utterly defeated by the Babylonian/Chaldean Empire. And then the Roman Empire is the longest-lasting from 27 B.C. to 1453 A.D. - The Holy Roman Empire - seen as a revival of the Western Roman Empire lasted from 962 to 1806 A.D. Scant time later - May 14, 1948 - Israel is re-born after being totally dead for about 2 millennium.

We know more today of Christianity than this Empire.

Does Mark's Gospel count being seen through the eyes of Peter and being what 1st Century people asked about most? Yes, the Keys of Heaven were given to Peter, and Biblically shared. These keys of Heaven are held by several hands.

Revelation 3:7
These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts
.

The Bible gives the nod to shared Bible Verses and the Holy Spirit.

The Bible is of interest, also, in the placement of the stories and how the Words connect.

Matthew places the healing of the paralytic further down 9 of 28 Chapters. And Matthew is saying Jesus is utterly astonishing using the word "Behold" freely. Speaking to the condition of the crowd's utter wonder and awe. Jesus is clearly God on earth walking as truth and grace.

Mark 9 is telling us not just of the order of a concise Gospel with 16 Chapters, Mark is telling us the importance the crowd of believers saw the Transfiguration. Where John, eyewitness, puts this as John 1.  The first century is not thinking, in Rome, they will walk into Heaven as easily as Jesus.

The forgiveness God gave the people of the first Easter was very profound.
The Forgiveness Jesus anticipated of the Christian Disciples going to Rome itself is also vast and profound. Jerusalem would continue until 70 A.D. when Jesus would have died as an old man with a natural life span. God was not going to undo the Works of Jesus. Jesus was pointing to Rome in Caesarea. The Gospels are very far-reaching.

Matthew 9 and Mark 9 made a point. A paralyzed man is not really going to survive. Not pneumonia, not bed sores. No running water for absolute cleanliness. When we see the Works of Jesus Christ - really Jesus was doing more than we can see. This man was going to taste death early in life. In fact, all of the people healed by Jesus were going to pass on fairly quickly.

The relief Jesus is proclaiming over death reaches like God yesterday, today and tomorrow. And this vast Forgiveness is His Love, Encouragement and Grace of His Mercy. God looks at our culture differently than we do. The Bible points to times in refreshment of the Spirit of God and times of despair. And in every season God is pointing to Jesus.

When we closely look at the Miracles of God we can see ripples in History. The Scriptures are so real. What we find in seeing the Word of God - today -

Mark 9

1 And he said to them, "Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God after it has come with power."

Abba, Father God,

What we are praying for is Blessing. Blessings of Gracious Love and Words flowing as Living Water.

Give us Jesus Christ and the Grace of the Holy Spirit to not be paralyzed in our words and prayers.

Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow the Word of God is Life. Promising us our own lives and those we Love.

The Light of Jesus Christ being carried to the Nations Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow. We are all asking for more Heaven upon earth.

In Jesus, we abide. Amen.

Psalm 100 ~ Serve the Lord with gladness.

Psalm 100

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!
2 Serve the Lord with gladness!
Come into his presence with singing!

3 Know that the Lord, he is God!
It is he who made us, and not we ourselves
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name!

5 For the Lord is good;
his steadfast love endures forever,
and his faithfulness to all generations.

Serve the Lord with Gladness.

October is when the outdoors returns to us. Gardeners are happy. Athletes are happy. Weekend warriors are happy. People sit in the yard.

And today all this perfection had an irritant to me. An injustice. Usually this shakes right off. It was a threat given, a long time ago, of nuisance they do. It's something I share with the people near me. In fact, people 4 and 12 blocks away from me have asked me about. Other people have experienced this as well. And usually I shake this off and have joy. Today, I just was riddled with, "It's not fair."

Let's call this couple -  Impetigo and Bedreaded.

When I ask prayers over this astonishingly unkind couple at the many Bible Studies we have done - it's asked if they go to Church. I think so. Then later we are asked if they attend Church in English as they are English speakers. I think so. Let me add the list of their gross self-centeredness is so long, I have to quell Edward in public and he has to stop me. We can get on a rant. Honestly.

I wondered how God felt to be housed in completely touchy irritation - me.To me all the beauty of October felt really irked inside me. As if the perfection of the day was taken - again. One more of their cruddy perpetrations - foisted in a sneaky way.

It's 2 people who deliberately set themselves first and set out to do any low thing to make themselves feel important. Local Government remembers them. Small animals are endangered for their amusement. They laugh.

Their whining is so tremendous the sheer tragedy of death of two children evolves around their feelings - not of the loss.

And hands to touch in inappropriate places unwanted - Impetigo  has - and two married women I know of. Total crashing narcissism.

Unfortunately for me, I encountered low selfishness done upon me by these two people today. I was ruddy and damn angry. I stomped around doing chores remembering these individuals have had a brick in their window as a gift long ago. And with this, I want to say the perfect thing. So the perfect thing. Establish Justice. Jump over tall buildings in a single bound.

Also, the truth is they make Local Government remember them from loud public displays of incredible selfishness. This is not solvable.

And of all the incredible favors and things asked of my family by these local people - I happened upon something asked of me. I was so mad I was genuinely furious. I asked Father God, "How do You stand irritated people? Being housed in them?" So as I passed this favor asked for "rudely" about 10 years ago, I smiled for not doing this. It was asked in a shame-you-way in front of other people. And I really did not remember, at the time, what they were referring to and they ended up being quite embarrassed. I smiled at how the sour note had been turned on the one giving out sour. I remembered God. It was an easy favor.

I had been contemplating about 10 ways to get even. It's so tempting. When our daughter died an off the rails nurse chewed me out until she was literally spitting. Our daughter died of multiple chromosome disorder being born 3 weeks early. It was purely someone very distressed about mental issues. I told the doctor what the nurse said and found there were other complaints and because this was so outrageous,  would I please turn her in. I had Permission!!!!!!!! Permission for Justice. Revenge. And I got quiet and the doctor, who had been so kind to me and to Edward during the loss of our daughter, asked me what I was thinking. I thought if I pick up revenge - given I'm grieving the loss of our only daughter - and I have permission - I might never put down Revenge again. And do I want to do things that are low? And be lowly in actions? I felt wonderful to be free from my revenge. It might have been the only time I had something I could give in a time of depletion and grief.

So today, finding this, I got hold of the 10 year favor and finished this in about 4 minutes. Never having to show them or have them know. Doing an act of Mercy finished off the all day slow burn irritation.

Do we owe people our kindness when they are harsh?

No. Absolutely not. I have as little to do with Impetigo and Bedreaded as possible.

Speaking up is Good. Edward once joked with me, before our marriage, that he thought rudely of something. We were trying to schedule our last pre-marriage counseling and I couldn't get him to apologize. I called him back and said Father Mike would be talking to him. At the end of the day Edward said it was the worst day ever contemplating what to say to Father Mike.

We still find this funny. But Speaking up to solve an irritation. To solve what is solvable is important. To solve what is solvable. To work to justice when Justice is obtainable.

Father God, Abba,

Thank You for the help to find away to move away from irritation. God's perfect solution of mercy to be private. Not given to the repeat offender and yet a mercy is done.

I am so grateful again for the gifts You have given me. For the people I love and see all the time. For help given in comfort and in tenderness. God is Love. His Perfect Gifts. Thank You, my Father.

Let's take October to find ever gift and blessing we are given.

Blessings of our Freedom. Blessings of our Family. Blessings of His Love given to us on this earth. Blessings of the good we can do for others.

To the people all around the world we could sum up our prayers as more Heaven on earth. Thanking God for what He has provided of Heaven on earth. Seeing good people go out of their way to help others.

Thank You Thank You, Father God.

In Jesus Christ. Amen.

Psalm 91:9-10 ~ The Lord our dwelling

Carved Ivory from the Palace of David. Museum of Israel.
Where would David acquire ivory? Leviathan? Allies?

Psalm 91:9-10

9 Because you have made the LORD your dwelling—my refuge, the Most High—
10 no evil will befall you, no plague will approach your tent.

As David carried his father, Jesse's, food supplies to his brothers in Saul's Army, he set off to never return to be the boy in his father's household again. Anointed of God - David very probably to surely felt he was entering training.

When we look at David, who lives his life from King's Guard and son-in-law -  to - suddenly caves David fills with mercy.

Victory suddenly looks like a Tennis Game.
Ditches where David the mercenary does Liam Neeson in the movie, "Taken."

Then a faster Tennis Game.
And then victory - Saul and sons are dead. But no victory. Ok, minor king crowning over provinces. What? Saul's Concubine's Sons What? Less apparent victory. Then Little more Victory. More war. More people say, "Hey, weren't you 'anointed'?" More upsets. Little more victory. Wow - like this might not ever fully work out. "But Hey - Hebrews 11 says just deal with the disappointment, Brother."

Total Victory.
Well. Dancing Naked. Huh. Didn't call that one.

Victory.
Call the old friends, build the Palace. Outside of the city walls, "Hebrews 1 - Angels Sing."

And family squabbles.
Can you imagine Saul's daughter isn't normal, and appreciative, like most women? Oh - Divorce?.

The Children Really DO BADLY. Horrible truly.

And David stands on the patio with wine and says, "Where is my happiness kingdom after all? I lived in ditches. I have a palace. I am good to God's people? Where is my happiness kingdom?" "Hey There!"

When you put together all of the memorable, warm, peaceful instructions of the Bible - right on top of each other - you have utter confusion. Only Jesus can fill every Word of the Bible. Cover every dot and every iota.

God is Our Father. And He gave David a Hope and a Future -  Our Teacher is Giving us His Word - and then we have the ability and insight to understand David just doesn't pull this together. We have a negative example of being Godly. We can do Greater Things by truly observing the details of David's Life.

David grasps the importance of being very honest to teach about God.

What can we take from David's Life and make Jesus Blessed because our Teacher has Comforted us with His Love, Joy and Wisdom?

Romans 8

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things?

If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:

“For your sake, we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

This suits David in all his days and his heartbreaks and loves and triumphs.

What failed David? Being a conqueror wasn't satisfying. In other words, David lived in his strength. He was not finding Gratitude. He was ordering people about. Being strong. David failed to take a to b - to parent his children and the violence there. Because David was so busy being A and B, Your Majesty. A Selfie. David was slipping by being elbows out - selfish.

Proving we need Jesus. We are not good at doing all of the Bible every day. We need God.

Glory.
Now the next aspect is universal - David is not going to get a lot of praise. When God's Glory is involved ~ it's like the old tapes of now Beatified President Reagan. He's great now - but at the time there were more marches on Washington than ever. It was MILITANT PROTEST. At every corner and turn.

God's Glory is for - God. The rest of us have to do the work God gives us and be grateful to have the whole family in Ziklag Ditch together. Or we go back to the palace and not watch weird HBO. Because David is us - we have or days and our fusses and our internal pity parties.

THE BEST PART OF GOD IS - THE LOVE.
God Sets the Straight Path. God sets the Path forward.

When the Report Card comes - God is just simply Proud His Love has found dwelling in us to be Glad God is Home with us.

Little lambs are cherished. Goats are named General Joab and part of life. Sheep are named after Priests. Stay off the porch. Say thank you more. Pay cherished attention to family more. Do the work God sent you to do. Fight the Good Fight. Be grateful the trouble makes life interesting. Alzheimer Patients have nothing to complain about.

And basically, bassically, basically ~

Every day - Love The Lord our God, The Lord is One; Thou shalt love the Lord thy God
with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind"

Because He considers you and casts your prayers upon Him. He Cares for you.

"Thou shalt love thy neighbor as Thyself."

David loved himself and when he loved his neighbors - he was far happier.

Abba,

You have given us Work to believe Jesus and in His Word - Your Promises.

We ask Your Blessing upon those who ask Jesus Christ to dwell in them as God's Mercy and Love.

The Mesha Stele has faced many bleak times to prevent David from being recognized in Archaeology. Instead the pieces are intact. Our God does not wipe out His Blessings.

Psalm 91:9-10
9 Because you have made the LORD your dwelling—my refuge, the Most High—
10 no evil will befall you, no plague will approach your tent.

With faith and trust, David placed enormous faith in God's Word. And we know of David's faith 3,000 years later. Ephesians 3 says families live on earth and Heaven. We can believe God.

Father, We place all our cares in Your Tender Hands and Heart. We confidently approach Your Love and Encouragement. We give Great Thanks for our Blessings. When we are weary we rest in You. When we are busy - we have faith You will remember us as we return. When we worry - we will trust just today or just even for 30 minutes. We thank You for Your examples in Your Word of how human and frail we are.

We give You Great Thanks for knowing we place our Trust in You. Giving Thanks the good earth is covered by believer's prayers - pleasing to You.

The Blessing of God is upon us - we Believe.

In Jesus Christ, Amen.

Mark 12:18-27 ~ rise

Mark 12:18-27

18 And Sadducees came to him, who say that there is no resurrection. And they asked him a question, saying, 19 “Teacher, Moses wrote for us that if a man's brother dies and leaves a wife, but leaves no child, the man must take the widow and raise up offspring for his brother. 20 There were seven brothers; the first took a wife, and when he died left no offspring. 21 And the second took her, and died, leaving no offspring. And the third likewise. 22 And the seven left no offspring. Last of all the woman also died. 23 In the resurrection, when they rise again, whose wife will she be? For the seven had her as wife.”

24 Jesus said to them, “Is this not the reason you are wrong, because you know neither

the Scriptures and the power of God?

25 For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven. 26 And as for the dead being raised, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the passage about the bush, how God spoke to him, saying, ‘I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’?

27 He is not God of the dead, but of the living.”

For so many reasons, David was quite wrong. And for so many reasons David made the right choices  - making a reason to see David for his faith.

Boundaries. David made amazing boundaries because he stayed in the boundaries God had given him.  David knew he was anointed and spent 22 years feeling all of the Psalms. Defeat, agony, victory, defeat, victory, defeat, Victory, sin, defeat, defeat, Victory.

And then David after several apparent failures even after Saul died - took Saul's Kingdom - the first map - and in obedience to God made - the second map.

Saul had boundaries. And refused. Saul  refused to believe the Scriptures and the Power of God. He refused to be grateful for today and to let God have tomorrow.

Gratitude is very important.

David had gratitude. And obedience.  To become the actual family of Jesus as Father God would want His Only Son - to be descended of David.

Matthew 12
50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.

David believed God was as good as His Word. And in being obedient to God. God's Will is done - believing in God our Father.

All of the Blessings of God involve - Trusting God so much we will find gratitude and willingness to believe that the Will of God - is Good - Today.

There are times and seasons in life. Where someone dies. Where finances change. Where crisis causes friendships to all end and begin again. With the winds of life decide not to be gentle.

And we will turn to God Himself for comfort.

Jesus is Living Water.

When we are out. Just done. Jesus will fill us again. And we will be able to say again, "My cup runneth over."

Psalm 100

5 For the Lord is good;
his steadfast love endures forever,
and his faithfulness to all generations.

Father God,

We prayer the prayer of David. Asking Jesus to pray with us.

“Who am I, O Lord God, and what is my house, that you have brought me thus far?

And yet this was a small thing in your eyes, O Lord God. You have spoken also of your servant’s house for a great while to come, and this is instruction for mankind, O Lord God!

You know your children, O Lord Father God! Because of Your promises, and according to Your own heart, You have brought about all this greatness for Your Glory.

And we delight, Your Name will be magnified forever, saying, ‘The Lord of hosts is God over Israel,’ and the house of Jesus will be established before You.

For you, O Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, have made Your revelation to your children, saying, ‘I will build you a house.’ Therefore your servant has found courage to pray this prayer to you. "

And now, O Lord God, You are God, and Your Words are true, and You have promised this good thing to your servant.

Now therefore may it please you to bless the house of your servant, so that it may continue forever before you. For you, O Lord God, have spoken, and with your blessing shall the house of your servant be blessed forever.

But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His Name, Jesus. He gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

In Expectation of His Word to our generations, we say, Thank You Father God. In Jesus, Amen.

Luke 24:32 ~ our hearts warm within us

Luke 24:32

They said to each other, “Did not our hearts warm within us while he talked to us on the road, while he opened to us the Scriptures?”

We all have within us a deep and abiding connection to Father God through our mind, heart and soul. He keeps us in Him. God renews us.

In the middle of having a cold. In the middle of business. In the middle of quiet. Father God gives us His Presence. We are alive in His Love.

Father God,

We will all have a day where our Time is planned to go Home. . Your Beloved being covered in the grace of Jesus Christ, Wonderful and Auspicious God.

Father God, warm and tender our hearts as Jesus did on the Emmaus Road. Help us to be to You, like Daniel, who knew God is God.

Let us remember again,
God is Good and Your Goodness. Real Goodness.  Life is strong and filled with real Hope of God. The Strength of God - Peter Knew Jesus is God and Jesus is Words of Life. Eternal Life.

Rembrandt's Road to Emmaus

Let us truly, and really appreciate, the people we have in our hearts, let us encourage and build them up. Knowing we want our Beloved to feel loved. To be appreciated. We want to walk the path God has given us to know we did our best. Today, today, today we pleased Jesus.

Our lives continue forever - and yet, the gift of time teaches us - Today is our life and we really want empowerment making the most and best of our God Given treasures He Gives to us today. Filling our tomorrow is filled with joy. Knowing His pleasure we worked for Wonderful Jesus. Father God embolden and empower - helping us - to be love and encouragement to the ones we Love and the people You have Given us.

Thank You for my children. Living and alive in Heaven. Thank You for our home and the people You have Lovingly, Lovingly given me. Your mercies renew and Your Mercies are diligently given in my life.

Hosea 14

5 I will be like the dew to Israel;
he will blossom like a lily.
Like a cedar of Lebanon
he will send down his roots;
6 his young shoots will grow.
His splendor will be like an olive tree,
his fragrance like a cedar of Lebanon.

7 People will dwell again in his shade;
they will flourish like the grain,
they will blossom like the vine—
Israel’s fame will be like the wine of Lebanon.

What is our Father God? Tender mercy and renewed Strength of hands and heart and tender Love.

Matthew 13
31 He put another parable before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field. 32It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is larger than all the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.”

Jesus, You have told us. "How often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings!!!"

Oh, the places He would go. You uphold Life by Your Word.  A Beautiful Promise and Sure Truth. Life Forevermore in Jesus the Only Son of God. God is Truth.

Jesus our Wonderful. Amen in Jesus Amen.

About scripture-for-today.blogspot.com/

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He has saved all who call upon His name and rely on Him for His Grace. The Scriptures are living & active and are for understanding the Lord Almighty. Biblical readings are chosen from the Ecumenical Christian Church and the Nicene Council, 325 A.D., approved Apocrypha. People remember not just from reading, but by sight and orally- an image has been added as well as audio readings. God tends to link the passages together with fascinates - this blogger, Anne-Laurel Gardere

About Me

My photo
Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
